Texas Heat is on the top this year! Do you dare to challenge it at the Caliente Off Road 5K? This race is part of the Centex Race Series. We are featuring a new course! The run will be a cross country style off road course throughout Long Branch Park. All runners will receive points. August 8th, 2025.  This is the culminating event in the Capt'n Karl's Trail Series at one of the best privately owned adventure parks in all of Texas, the amazing Reveille Peak Ranch! This park is located 55 miles northwest of Austin in the historic town of Burnet. The amenities at RPR are first class & we will be taking advantage of this by providing our runners, spectators & volunteers with a series finale party. But first, runners will be treated to unique & spectacular geological formations. Navigating over large rock domes with amazing views, while tackling the most elevation gain of our four venues (3812 ft). This course really has it all….single track, exposure, tree-covered woods, hills & technicality. All to challenge even the most seasoned trail runner.   While every racer will get some cool swag, July 16th is the deadline to get a shirt.

Dragon’s Den half Marathon is a challenging race for all levels. There are three events: Half-Marathon, 10k and 5k. All registrants receive a finishers medal, a turkey leg, refreshments, and amazing race swag plus much more. The race course is held inside San Antonio at Pearsall Park and will have rejuvenation stations every mile with ice cold water, ice cold electrolytes and ice cold towels. All finishers of the half-Marathon will receive a finishers t-shirt. All the races will have age group award tiles. All paces welcome! The event will take place on Saturday, August 9th, from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. on the grass just west of the Tennis Center at Memorial Park. What Is OUTLAST? OUTLAST is a 6-hour trail endurance challenge where runners complete a 5K every hour, on the hour. Each lap must be finished within the hour to stay in the event. If you finish early, you rest until the next round. Miss a lap, and you’re out. Complete all six rounds, and you OUTLAST. This isn't just about speed — it's about pacing, discipline, and mental grit. Whether you're trying to survive all six or win your division, the challenge is the same: show up each hour, push your limits, and stay in it. Each course is trail-based, with natural terrain, elevation, and unpredictable conditions. You’ll have time between rounds to recover, refuel, and refocus — but not much.   What You Earn: ​4 laps = “Grit Earned” patch5 laps = “Survivor” patch6 laps = Premium “OUTLAST” medal​​All participants receive a premium OUTLAST Tee. Neuro Assistance Foundation is dedicated to assisting spinal cord injured and disabled individuals in the Dallas/Fort Worth & greater Houston areas to achieve self-sufficiency and mobility through assistive vehicles, equipment, technology and home modifications. NAF will strive to ensure that every spinal cord injured or disabled person in our community has the equipment necessary to be mobile and independent. We appreciate all of your support! We are excited to see you at the start line of our annual Hot Hatch Chile Run, Walk, and Roll this year!  We will have great finisher medals and t-shirts for participants. Shirts are short sleeve, soft tri-blend.  Quantities are limited. This event is being hosted by Agape Church of God in Christ Holistic Ministry. All proceeds will be invested back into the Cereni-Te Supervised Independent Living.
