Set a personal record (PR) at the 2027 Spring Blast 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon on a flat course at an elevation of 3,671 feet. All runners and walkers are encouraged to participate in these races. Choose the distance best for you on these out-and-back courses run on paved roads. Roswell’s average temperatures in early March range from the mid-thirties to the low seventies. All three races have the same start and finish points. The courses are located on the Eastern New Mexico University-Roswell campus and around the Roswell Air Center. There is easy access and plenty of available free parking. Race proceeds will be donated to the ENMU-Roswell Foundation for student scholarships. We strive to provide safe, well-supported races. EMS will be present along this well-marked course with aid stations approximately every two miles. The course will remain open for 4 hours.

A Race Designed for Their Age Kids don't need to be experienced runners to participate in RunLand. Welcome to the 43nd Annual Shiprock Marathon, Half Marathon & 5K Shiprock Youth Center – Friday, May 1 & Saturday, May 2, 2026   The 2026 Shiprock Marathon will provide a unique and memorable running experience the first weekend of May in Shiprock, New Mexico!   The Shiprock 5K Trail Race will take place at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 1 on the Blueberry Hill course, beginning and ending at the Youth Center.  There are awards for top individual (overall and age-group top three) and team winners.  All runners will receive a performance t-shirt, race poster, swag and post-race snacks.  We have added two new events to Friday's lineup.  We will host the Elder's Run at 3pm.  These events are fun-run style, so no timing or awards.  Each finisher will receive a finishers medal. Death by 5k is coming BACK to Albuquerque! Join us for the third edition of Death by 5k Albuquerque taking place at Balloon Fiesta Park on May 30-31. RunStrong Event's signature 24 hour challenge, Death by 5k requires participants to run ten 5ks, starting each 5k 2.5 hours apart. The first 5k starts at 8 am, and subsequent 5ks start at 1030, 1, 330, 6, 830, 11, 130, 4, and 630 am. Participants need to be present at the start of each 5k, and have that 5k finished prior to the start of the subsequent 5k. This challenge is designed to test participants mentally and physically with physical fatigue, sleep deprivation, and running in the dark. The Corrales Ditch Run is a beloved community tradition that brings runners and walkers together along the scenic, tree-lined acequias of Corrales, New Mexico. Now celebrating its 30th anniversary, this annual event offers participants a unique opportunity to experience the beauty and charm of the village while supporting a meaningful cause. Founded in conjunction with the Corrales Harvest Festival originally, it has grown into more than just a race — it’s a celebration of connection, remembrance, and giving back. Proceeds from the event support Search & Rescue organizations through the Dave Gives Back initiative and Kiwanis Kids Kamp. Whether you’re a seasoned runner aiming for a personal best or a family looking to enjoy a fun and purposeful morning, the Corrales Ditch Run welcomes participants of all ages and abilities. Ahoy, mateys! Hoist the colors and join us for the Talk Pirate to Me 5K/10K/Half Marathon, a swashbuckling adventure on the run celebrating International Talk Like a Pirate Day all month long. Whether you're a seasoned captain or a landlubber just looking for some fun, gather your crew and set sail for a race filled with pirate spirit, treasure, and plenty of "Arrr's!" Choose your quest—5K, 10K, or Half Marathon—and chart your course to the finish line. Every buccaneer who successfully walks the plank and crosses the finish line will earn a custom finisher medal worthy of any pirate's treasure chest. We're headed to the Tingley Beach in Albuquerque, NM for an 8:00 am start, and hitting the trail to celebrate the pirate in you. Come out dressed in your favorite pirate garb (and some running shoes), and we'll hit the trail instead of walking the plank. Awards will be presented in all three distances to the top three male and female finishers in our traditional five-year age groups, giving pirates of all ages a chance to claim their share of the booty. Holloman Ace of Races offers four events: Marathon, Half Marathon, 5K and the Kids Dash. Join us and be a part of Holloman AFB's Ace of Races marathon! All proceeds from the registration will be put towards the Morale, Welfare, and Recreation fund that benefits Holloman AFB Airmen and their families.   The course is nestled between the Sacramento Mountains and the glistening gypsum dunes of White Sands National Park, passing by points of Air Force history along the way.
