You are invited to be part of our 4th Annual Potter’s House - Steve Proffitt Legacy 5K & Fun Run, a walk, jog, and race where students, alumni, and community members come together to raise funds for Potter’s House, our favorite local coffee shop that loves you back. This year’s theme, “Give Love Back to the Potter’s House,” celebrates the incredible impact this ministry has had on the lives of college students in Springfield and invites the community to join us in giving back. Since 1999, Potter’s House has been a home away from home and a safe place for students to study, connect, and build lifelong relationships all over a cup of coffee. Alongside the coffee shop, The Studio next door hosts small group meetings and weekly fellowship gatherings for international students. This annual event continues to honor and celebrate the amazing life and ministry of co-founder Steve Proffitt (1954–2021), whose legacy lives on through every student touched by this place of belonging and hope.

The 22nd Annual Tim Heinsz Memorial 5K & 10K Run/Walk, 14th Annual Jim Devine Dog Walk, & 8th Annual Bob Bailey Bike Ride honors three of Mizzou Law's most beloved deans. Tim Heinsz served as Dean of Mizzou Law and was an avid runner. Jim Devine served as Associate Dean and was a noted dog lover. Bob Bailey is an Assistant Dean Emeritus and a cycling enthusiast. All monies raised benefit the Timothy J. The combined AFTROTC programs of Blue Springs, Grain Valley, and Fort Osage High Schools are hosting their first annual Bataan Memorial March.   Event will be held at Hodge Park in Kansas City, MO. The 2026 Rock the Parkway half marathon and 5K is Kansas City's largest half marathon and is run along Kansas City's favorite half marathon course on historic Ward Parkway!  Both events start and finish in front of the world headquarters of our host, Burns & McDonnell.  The half marathon race is run separately from the 5K which starts after the half marathon participants have departed the starting area.

The Tulip Trot 5K is a benefit race to help support the Freudenthal Center for Parkinson's Disease, a non-profit organization that helps people with Parkinson's Disease (PD) fight its debilitating effects. All proceeds will go to help our various exercise programs in the form of new equipment and facility maintenance, along with providing the means to add new programs to the center, like cycling. The 2026 Cardinals 5K returns to celebrate the career of Joe Torre! This year's 5K will offer both an In-Person and Virtual format, allowing Cardinals fans across the world the chance to run, jog or walk the race. Join us in our 5th annual Lily's House 5k! Lily's House is a long-term substance abuse recovery home for mothers who are seeking a better life for themselves and their children.  We will run in Adrian Park with beautiful lake views and back-in-time through antique Frontier Village, Adrain Missouri. Join KC Pet Project on Saturday, April 18, 2026 to compete in the KC Pet Project 5K! The race will take place in historic Swope Park, ending at our beautiful shelter!  All registrants will receive a race bib and commemorative race medal. The Annual Mizzou Ophthalmology 5K Run/Walk will be hosted by the University of Missouri’s Ophthalmology Department to support MedZou’s free clinic for underserved patients in Columbia, Missouri. The event is set to take place at Twin Lakes Recreation Area at the Twin Lakes Shelter on Sunday, April 18th, at 10:00 am. Participants are encouraged to arrive by 9:30 am for check-in. Join us Sunday, April 19, 2026 at Creve Coeur Lake Park for our 5th Annual run/walk event for Classic 107.3 - Radio Arts Foundation, the only community-supported arts and classical radio station in St. Louis! In the 5K race, the goal is to finish before the end of Ludwig van Beethoven's famous Symphony No. 5 (about 33 minutes). The station will be broadcasting live, and the race starts with the first note of the first movement playing on Classic 107.3! Beethoven himself will be there to wish you Viel Glück! There will be fun prizes for those dressed for the theme, for the top fundraiser, and for the top three finishers overall. The Martin City Whiskey Run 5K is a fun event for walkers and runners alike!  Join us in Martin City (south Kansas City, MO) for this fun event which features a tasting of a variety of whiskeys provided by area distilleries at the start/finish and a breakfast burrito for all finishers! The Run for Research is a fundraiser for the Foundation for Physical Therapy Research, which is the only non-profit organization solely dedicated to funding and developing physical therapy research, organized by students in the WashU School of Medicine Physical Therapy program. Join Trailnet for a “bike bus” ride to and from the St. Louis Earth Day Festival! Meet us across from Yadier Molina Field in Wellston, where you can see a quick-build traffic calming installation made possible by Trailnet’s planning and advocacy. We will ride about 3 miles as a group to Forest Park, where you are encouraged to enjoy the festivities. Then, we will meet back up and return to our starting location! We are excited to see you all on the course for our 13th annual Firehouse 5K! Over the past eleven years, we have raised over $31,000 for a variety of charities centering around autism support and education. This year, you can run the race alongside local firefighters and many supporters in this community.  The course remains the same as previous years, a 3.1-mile out-and-back course starting and finishing at the firehouse.  If running isn't really your thing, you're welcome to participate in a fun 2-mile walk. Immediately after the race, refreshments, and an award ceremony will follow. And don’t forget — in addition to your race T-shirt, just like last year, the first 200 sponsors and/or race participants will receive our exclusive Firehouse 5K Finisher Medal!
