Lawson Lake 5k

Enjoy a couple laps around the Lawson Lake for a 5k or do a one lap walk for 1.5 miles. Proceeds will go towards Lawson Park Board special projects. (Parking available at Lake View Event Center and adjoining grass lot.) Register by Oct 10, 2026 to be guaranteed our "Logo Drawstring Backpack" giveaway item!. Race day registration will be allowed at the race site at $35 for 5k, $30 for youth 5k and $15 for walk. NO Giveaway item.. CASH ONLY!! EXACT CASH PLEASE!! Race day registration/check-in is from 7am-7:45am. Race starts at 8am. No chip timing. No finishers medals. 5k Awards: 1st place overall male and female. Prizes will also be awarded in each age category male and female. Age groups: 10 and under; 11-15; 16-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69: 70 and up.
