The City of Wildwood hosts the 7th Annual Shivering Shadows 7K Run/Walk Friday, October, 23, 2026 @ 7 p.m. The run/walk happens AT NIGHT and gradually takes us to the dark woods of Zombie Road (Lights are strongly encouraged)! This is an evening of fun with a fabulous participant shirt to die for, post race refreshments, and awards. The start/finish line: LaSalle Springs Middle School at 3300 Highway 109 in Wildwood, Missouri 63038. Registration fee: $40.00 prior to Race Day and $50.00 on Race Day. This is a 5K (timed) and 1 Mile fun run (not timed) event to support Rayni Day Miracles. Rayni Day Miracles is a nonprofit organization serving children with life-threatening illnesses through a variety of programs at no cost to the children or their families.  The organization is strictly ran by volunteers. The Memorial Run is set up as a way to honor and remember the members we have lost while raising money to serve the current members and their families.

This community event will feature a 5 K run/walk, a 1-mile kids' race, a 1-mile walk, awards, a DJ, Chris Cakes' pancake breakfast, adult & kids' beverages, and a raffle. The Cliff Hanger Run in the Historic Northeast is a Kansas City classic! Run on Cliff Drive, a Missouri state scenic byway, while enjoying the crisp fall air, and beautiful foliage. All runners and 1 mile walkers will receive a Cliff Hanger Shirt, Finisher medal, custom bib, free photos and treats after the race!

This year's Brew to Boo is going to be a slight adjustment compared to previous years. Rather than running nearly a marathon from South Kansas City to North Kansas City, we're going to stay near the Kansas City Downtown and there will be two participation options as well! The first option is a Pub Crawl in the Crossroads. We'll start at Torn Label and make our way west from brewery to brewery until we end up at Casual Animal. By utilizing this format, my hope is to keep a good size group together and make it much easier for people to join up later in the day if need be. The second option is the actual running portion of Brew to Boo. While the Pub Crawl is happening, runners will shoot off to another brewery outside of the Crossroads, grab a drink, and run back. There are 5 legs to this including Boulevard, Strange Days, Alma Mader, Stockyard, and Vine Street. Total miles on this is about 16.5 miles so, while I'm encouraging team relays, an individual could complete the

The Equalizer Groad Gravel Race rolls out in 2026, Saturday morning, November 7th, from Marthasville Mo!   The Equalizer is many things! Its the regular and awesome 50k or 100k Equalizer, its also the Finalie Event to the SHO ME MO' GRVL SERIES, and its The Missouri State Championship race for gravel.  This is a must do race for 2026!  Free onsite camping in Wessel Park and the KT Caboose Friday and Saturday night.⛺ Showers and bathrooms available across the street at the Ballfields and at the KT Caboose.🚿 😍 The 50K sees some new gravel and roads this year and will join the 100k through the full classic Equalizer loop through Warrenton and all of the most awesome and refreshing creek crossings from last year. The 50K this year is XL and is really 43 miles. (we like to use K because its cool)  Choose either the 50k or 100k climbing 1800' and 3786' of up downs..  The 50 and 100 will stay together until mile 5. We are back for year 6!!! Join us as we continue to help local women in their fight against breast cancer! We have fun, we race/walk, we shop for a cure, we have amazing raffle prizes, we have lots of fun for the family, and we have great treats. The Pink Power 5K is the place to be on October 24th!! Here is my story and more about the race- When I found out that I had breast cancer, it rocked my world. I knew that my life would never be the same. I would be a fighter and then a survivor for the rest of my years. I struggled to try to understand why this was happening to me and my family. I prayed a lot. A lot of people prayed for me. My heart became filled with this bigger purpose. This God-given purpose that reminded me that I was given this struggle to not only change me and my life, but to also use my journey through the struggle to help others. After hearing about how the Stephanie Vest Foundation helped a dear friend of mine while she went through her own breast cancer fight, I just knew that I wanted to put my efforts into raising money for this amazing organization that physically, emotionally, and financially helps local women and their families to make it through their fight against this cancer. When you sign up and pay your $10 to participate in the Pink Power 5K, you are giving a $10 donation to the Stephanie Vest Foundation. If you wish to make a bigger donation, there will be a link on the website. That money will all go straight to the Stephanie Vest Foundation. We will also have more opportunities for fundraising at the race. We will have raffle baskets and items (raffle tickets will be $5 for one ticket or $20 for five tickets), family activities, and we will have some AMAZING food from the Brunch Ladies food truck. Come run the haunted Frisco Trail with Willard Parks! The race begins at the Frisco Highline Trail Head - Willard, MO and progresses WEST down the Greenway Trail 2.5km to the race turn around, and then progresses back to the start. This 5k run/walk benefits the Saint Anne’s Guild women's group at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church. This group hosts several youth and family events throughout the year. Additionally, half of the proceeds from the run will go to LifeHouse Crisis Pregnancy Center in Springfield, MO. The course will leave the St. Joseph the Worker’s rear parking lot off Bluff Drive and head west across NN Hwy. The route passes Ozark High School then jumps onto the City of Ozark's paved trail system and takes runners through the tunnel under Jackson Street. The course takes hard right and up to the turn around point in front of First Baptist Ozark. It's back the way you came including that fun uphill to the finish line back at St. Joseph the Worker. We will have hot coffee and pancakes (Thanks to our Knights of Columbus) waiting for you back in our Parish Hall. This year we will incorporate a COSTUME CONTEST as the race day falls on All Hallows Eve! We will have a prize for the best Saint Costume since All Saints Day follows All Hallows Eve. The Skippo began in 2009 as a 20k trail race in beautiful Castlewood State Park that featured two 10k loops on a fairly flat course except, of course, for the famous stairs! In 2011, we wanted to involve as many runners as possible so we added two more options, a 10k and a 30k. The Skippo then evolved into a two-day format in order to accommodate growth and popularity. In 2019 the 20k was changed to a Half-Marathon, and thus the modern day SKIPPO was born. Consider entering the team competition for the Skippo Saturday 10k! TOUR de HOPE Gravel is an uncommonly fun gravel cycling event in Pleasant Hill, Missouri. The event offers three updated distance options across fast, rolling routes made up of approximately 90% gravel roads. The 50K and 100K courses are timed races, with awards presented to the top three men and women in each distance. The 25K offers a more relaxed, untimed ride for those who want to enjoy the experience without watching the clock. While SAG stops are available along the course, every rider should come prepared to support themselves and handle basic mechanical and nutrition needs. This year our Walk for the Homeless is returning to an in-person walk in downtown Saint Joseph on Friday, November 7 th! This event helps to raise awareness of homelessness in St. Joseph, Missouri. Join us for the 11th Annual Veterans Day 5K at Soldier's Memorial in Downtown St. Louis on Saturday, November 7, 2026! We welcome wheelchairs, strollers, and dogs on the race path, too! All proceeds from the event go to St. Patrick Center, a ministry of Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of St. Louis, where their purpose is to transform lives through sustainable housing, employment, and healthcare. Last year, because of the generous contributions of our donors, sponsors, and volunteers, the agency assisted 4,223 clients total, of which 813 were Veterans. St. Patrick Center was able to connect 89 veterans with jobs and place 743 veterans and their families in permanent housing. All because of the support of our donors, sponsors and volunteers, several programs are dedicated solely to helping Veterans and their families get back on their feet. Through their contributions, Project HERO, in partnership with the Missouri Department of Mental Health and the U.S. Veterans Administration, is able to work with Veterans to improve their overall quality of life through mental health counseling, transportation access, and employment services. This program is housed at Freedom Place, a 50-unit apartment complex reserved for male Veterans experiencing homelessness along with substance abuse disorders and/or mental health issues. Due to these efforts, the St. Louis community becomes a better place for everyone to live and work because of the lives transformed through sustainable housing, employment, and healthcare. As part of our Veterans Day 5K Run/Walk this year, we are including an option for you to participate in our Fundraiser to End Veteran Homelessness. This is your chance to take a stand against Veteran homelessness by having people in your network donate to your fundraiser through your social media channels and websites. The Saint Louis Half Marathon and 5K returns for its 47th year on Sunday, November 8, 2026. ​First run in 1980, this event holds the title of the longest-running half marathon in the St. Louis region, offering runners a classic road race experience through the historic and scenic setting of Forest Park.  THE COURSE Both the Half Marathon and the 5K start and finish at the Muny Festival Grounds.
