Join us in supporting local pediatric patients receiving care through the St. Jude Affiliate Clinic in Shreveport. This clinic, a partnership between St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Ochsner LSU Health–Feist Weiler Cancer Center, brings world‑class treatment to children and adolescents in Louisiana who are fighting cancer and blood disorders. Gibbstown Bridge 5K

Creole, LA
The race will start on Old Ferry Road, near the south end of the Gibbstown/Conway Lebleu Bridge. The path goes north over the bridge out 1.55 miles and then back across bridge to the finish. While on the bridge participants will have sweeping views of the coastal marsh and the Cameron Prairie National Wildlife Refuge. Age group medals are generally 10 year groupings. Age group awards Parking is under the south side of the bridge and along Old Ferry Road. T-shirts are cotton unisex    Packet pick-up is the morning of at the bridge from 6:30 - 7:30 AM.  Please show up no later than 30 minutes prior to race time which is 8 AM. Dean - Williams Memorial 5k Run/Walk/Crawl

Please join us for our 30th year as we honor our fallen law enforcement heroes. These officers have made the ultimate sacrifice for the safety and protection of our city and its people.  Ron Dean #551 and Dewayne Williams #904 were working in the narcotics division of the Shreveport Police Department. On December 16, 1992 Ron Dean was fatally wounded while attempting to serve a search warrant for narcotics at the Pines Apartments. On March 3, 1993 Dewayne Williams was fatally wounded while attempting to serve a search warrant for narcotics at a home on Magnolia Ave.  Ron Dean and Dewayne Williams were supporters of Special Olympics during their law enforcement careers. Shreveport Police Officers along with other law enforcement agencies and civilians participate in this run each year. This run is not only in memory of Ron Dean and Dewayne Williams; it is in memory of all fallen law enforcement officers. The St John the Evangelist 5K and 1 Mile fun run will be held on April 26th, 2025, at St. John the Evangelist in Prairieville. Miles for Missions 5k and 1Mile Fun Run

Miles for Missions is an annual 1 Mile Fun Run and 5k with all proceeds going to support youth and their summer Mission Trip!  We are moving back to town!  With the growth of our run the last couple of years, parking has become more of an issue for our run.  We are so thankful that we have been able to partner with Spartan Fitness for the start and finish of our race.  This year we will move back to town to the church for the start and finish.  It will be at First Baptist Church, 404 Church St. Columbia LA 71418.  We are also going to have a family day following the race!  We will have food and lots of fun for the entire family.  This is an officially timed race. 1 Mile Fun Run will begin at 8:00 sharp.  5k will begin at 8:30 AM.    We do print extra shirts and purchase extra medals for race day but sizes are not guaranteed.  Everyone receives a finisher medal.  There is an overall prize for 1st place in Men's and Women's.  There is a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place medal for each age c

SAE’s 14th Annual 5K & 5K Donut Dash 8:30 am, April 26, 2026 349 Bowie Road,  Thibodaux, LA   Description:  The Annual Donut Dash is a 5K and a 5K “Donut Dash” with 50% of proceeds benefiting The Schriever Lions Club and 50% of proceeds benefiting The Thibodaux Lions Club. The race begins and ends at the Rec Center on the campus of Nicholls State University.
