This clinic, a partnership between St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Ochsner LSU Health–Feist Weiler Cancer Center, brings world‑class treatment to children and adolescents in Louisiana who are fighting cancer and blood disorders. Our 3nd annual Autism Acceptance Walk and fundraising event!  Join us for our 2026 family fun day and to help us raise money for families of Vermilion Parish.

The race will start on Old Ferry Road, near the south end of the Gibbstown/Conway Lebleu Bridge. The path goes north over the bridge out 1.55 miles and then back across bridge to the finish. While on the bridge participants will have sweeping views of the coastal marsh and the Cameron Prairie National Wildlife Refuge. Age group medals are generally 10 year groupings. Age group awards Parking is under the south side of the bridge and along Old Ferry Road. T-shirts are cotton unisex    Packet pick-up is the morning of at the bridge from 6:30 - 7:30 AM.  Please show up no later than 30 minutes prior to race time which is 8 AM. This is a backyard-style ultramarathon. At the top of every hour, participants will complete a 4.2-mile loop. When the hour is up, runners line up and do it again. The loop continues hour after hour—not until a set distance is reached, but until only one runner remains. The final runner standing must then complete one last solo 4.2-mile loop. Please join us for our 30th year as we honor our fallen law enforcement heroes. These officers have made the ultimate sacrifice for the safety and protection of our city and its people.  Ron Dean #551 and Dewayne Williams #904 were working in the narcotics division of the Shreveport Police Department. On December 16, 1992 Ron Dean was fatally wounded while attempting to serve a search warrant for narcotics at the Pines Apartments. On March 3, 1993 Dewayne Williams was fatally wounded while attempting to serve a search warrant for narcotics at a home on Magnolia Ave.  Ron Dean and Dewayne Williams were supporters of Special Olympics during their law enforcement careers. Shreveport Police Officers along with other law enforcement agencies and civilians participate in this run each year. This run is not only in memory of Ron Dean and Dewayne Williams; it is in memory of all fallen law enforcement officers. We are Epilepsy Alliance Louisiana (EAL), the oldest epilepsy organization in the state, dedicated to supporting people living with epilepsy through direct services, education, and advocacy. Since 1977, we have provided essential community services across Louisiana, reaching thousands of individuals impacted by epilepsy. Our mission is to assist those affected by epilepsy within their communities by addressing the broad spectrum of challenges seizures can bring. The Our Lady of the Lake Tiger 10K is a partnership between LSU Athletics and FRESHJUNKIE Racing that brings the tradition of LSU Football and Tiger Stadium into a fun, festive road race event that includes a 5K and a Kids 1 Mile Race (ages 12 and under).  The goal of the event is to give the entire LSU community: fans, students, alumni, faculty and staff, no matter age or ability, an opportunity to complete their journey in Tiger Stadium.  Participants get to make their mark on the hallowed ground where so many have left theirs.  A festive post race party with live music, cold beer and good food is being planned to celebrate everyone's accomplishment.

The St John the Evangelist 5K and 1 Mile fun run will be held on April 26th, 2025, at St. John the Evangelist in Prairieville. The 1 Mile will start at 8:00 AM, and the 5K event will begin when the 1 mile is finished, around 8:15 AM. Please register online or at the table on the day of.    Please arrive early for check-in to get your BIB number and T-shirt; this will start at 6:30 AM outside of the church near the rear entrance.   There will be a light breakfast and coffee in the morning and then lunch to follow. Miles for Missions is an annual 1 Mile Fun Run and 5k with all proceeds going to support youth and their summer Mission Trip!  We are moving back to town!  With the growth of our run the last couple of years, parking has become more of an issue for our run.  We are so thankful that we have been able to partner with Spartan Fitness for the start and finish of our race.  This year we will move back to town to the church for the start and finish.  It will be at First Baptist Church, 404 Church St. Columbia LA 71418.  We are also going to have a family day following the race!  We will have food and lots of fun for the entire family.  This is an officially timed race. 1 Mile Fun Run will begin at 8:00 sharp.  5k will begin at 8:30 AM.    We do print extra shirts and purchase extra medals for race day but sizes are not guaranteed.  Everyone receives a finisher medal.  There is an overall prize for 1st place in Men's and Women's.  There is a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place medal for each age c

SAE’s 14th Annual 5K & 5K Donut Dash 8:30 am, April 26, 2026 349 Bowie Road,  Thibodaux, LA   Description:  The Annual Donut Dash is a 5K and a 5K “Donut Dash” with 50% of proceeds benefiting The Schriever Lions Club and 50% of proceeds benefiting The Thibodaux Lions Club. The race begins and ends at the Rec Center on the campus of Nicholls State University. The race begins at 8:30 am with a pre-race warmup at 8:15 am.   For the 5K Donut Dash, when you get to the halfway mark (1.55 Miles) you will have to eat 4 donuts before you can continue on.   Donations:  We will be splitting the funds 50/50 with The Schriever Lions Club and Thibodaux Lions Club.  If you would like to make a donation, you can do that here.
