The race will begin at the base of the levee across from the Vidalia Upper Elementary School and will go down Concordia Ave including Concordia Extension turning around halfway down the Extension and heading back to the start/finish line. There will be several color stations along the route, so you are colorful when you complete the race. There will be two waves: a runner's wave that starts at 9 am and shortly afterwards the walker's wave will begin. There will be music, photo opportunities, tons of vendors, Watson Strong merchandise tent, & MORE for everyone to enjoy at the amphitheater area. For the locals, run home and wash up and come back and join us for the festivities! For the out of towners, there will be whole body wash cloths in each swag bag. Bring it to clean up! Registration for this event ends October 22, 2026. Your registration includes a white t-shirt and swag bag. This inspiring event is dedicated to the memory of Watson Calhoun, a brave four-year-old boy who battled a rare brain cancer. Watson's journey at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital showcased the compassionate care and extensive support the hospital provides. Although they fought valiantly by his side, his condition surpassed available treatments. To honor his fighting spirit, we're hosting this color-filled race to raise funds for the Watson Strong Foundation. The Watson Strong Foundation was established by the Calhoun Family & friends to aid families facing similar situations. Whether you choose to walk or run, your participation helps us all embody the strength and courage Watson showed the world. Sign up today and be a part of something truly meaningful—let's be Watson Strong together!
