NOTC Spring Training ClinicForCrescent City Classic The NOTC presents a $30 ($25 NOTC Members) 10K & 5K clinic for runners and walkers of all ages, abilities, and experience levels. The sessions will be conducted by NOTC board members, RRCA-certified coaches and runners and walkers from our community. The training program will run for 10 weeks, starting Saturday, January 24, 2026, and concluding the week of the Crescent City Classic on Saturday, April 4, 2026. Rapides Junior Runners 2026 Spring Series

Rapides Junior Runners Spring Series will host 3 races in February and March for kids aged 3 to 14.  One registration fee of $50 enters the runner into all three spring races.  Various distances are run, depending on the child's age and preference:  3-5 year olds will run 1/2 mile - untimed but will receive a participation medal; 6-14 year olds will choose the preferred distance of 1 mile or 2 miles during the initial registration.    Once registered, racer will run this distance every event.  If the racer chooses to change distances, please email organizers or inform organizers at the registration tent on race morning prior to running.  Two-mile participants will register as individual participants only - no team competitions in the spring season.    Upon individual registration, each participant will receive a bib number.  Please keep the same bib for all 3 races and pin to the front of the racer's shirt - top and bottom.  The racer must have a bib number to participate.  If

The Return of the Fleet Feet Metairie annual spring run group! We will be meeting Tuesdays and Thursdays 7pm @ Bonnabel Boat Launch (1599 Bonnabel Blvd, Metairie 70005). We will have two different running programs to help you with your fitness goals! First a beginner 5K program for those looking to get into running for the first time or get back into it after a long hiatus. This is designed to slowly build up your stamina and form to help you tackle a 5K.  Our other program is going to be an intermediate 10K program, for runners looking to add some distance and speed to their workouts. This program is meant to help those who have some 5K experience but are looking to improve further. Run Like A Girl 5K

Louisiana Tech University's Society of Women Engineers chapter is excited to host our eighth annual Run Like a Girl 5k on March 21 st, 2026. All proceeds from this event will be donated to 4 PAWS Rescue, USA, in an effort to support the animal shelter in our local area.  We met our goal last year to raise at least $2,000 for 4 PAWS Rescue and raise awareness of the importance of volunteering and/or considering adoption when looking for a family pet and we would like to match that goal this year. We will be having an additional add-on in which it will allow participants to walk with a dog from the Rescue during the 5K for $5! The add-on can be purchased with or without a shirt in the Events section. The Hammond Rotary's Charity Shamrock Run, will offer runners an opportunity to run the 1-mile and 5K/10K. This year's course will be at the Renaissance Festival grounds in Hammond, Louisiana (46468 River Rd, Hammond, LA 70401). Howdy everyone! Thank you for helping me celebrate my birthday. As you know, I'm turning 29- not 30 yet so I thought it would be fun to do a 2.9k run/walk. This little celebration will take place at Prien Lake Park on Saturday, March 28th starting at 8:30AM. According to the park's website, the park loop is .7 of a mile so our course will be that loop 4 times. Every registrant will receive a bib and a medal for completing their run/walk and are welcome to join for matcha and coffee at Stellar Beans. The theme is green (and some pink) since you know I'm not that matcha older. So please wear green (and pink)! You know I love every opportunity to dress up.
