Please join us in our small community, Benton, KS during our Benton Day celebration on Saturday, April 25th. Start time is at 8am.  The race will be an out and back course and timed by Timer Guys. T-Bird Trot 5K formally known as Circle Foundation. Several years ago, Circle Foundation handed off the race to the Circle Booster Club.  Same race, same community, and proceeds still benefiting our students in USD 375.  If you feel led to make a donation while processing your registration, we would be extremely grateful!  There is a free will donation breakfast sponsored by the Circle Booster Club during and after the race to kick off Benton Day.  Your race entry includes breakfast, just show your bib when you get in line. For non-participating family members and friends, we encourage a donation.  Our route will include a trail just under a mile of the course. Trail shoes aren't needed for this run. Can you complete a 5K before the Lawrence Community Orchestra string quartet finishes playing Beethoven's Opus 59, No. 3? Find out at this fun event supporting the orchestra and celebrating music and healthiness. Runners and walkers of all ages will start and finish in the Southwind Regal movie theatre parking lot. The route will cover a segment of the Lawrence Loop. Registration by April 3 includes a commemorative race day shirt.  Packet pickup will be held on Friday, April 24 from 1-6 PM at Fleet Feet, 839 Massachusetts in Lawrence, and on Saturday at the event beginning at 8:45 AM. Everyone is invited to bring a chair and listen to the music.

The Spring Migration Triathlon & Gravel Half Marathon will be held in Emporia, Kansas on April 26, 2026. Race begins 9:00 a.m. at Emporia State University, Welch Stadium   Gravel Half Marathon 13.1 miles leaving from the ESU Track & Field Stadium and winding through the scenic Flint Hills.    Sprint Triathlon 400 meter swim The 400 meter swim will take place indoors in the ESU lap pool. 20K bike The 20K bike is a flat out-and-back course that heads north of Emporia on Highway 99. 5K Run  The 5K run takes runners through the rolling hills of Emporia, just west of the ESU campus. This is a perfect triathlon for beginners or for triathletes to kick off their season!  A USAT membership is required to participate in this event. Run/Walk will begin and end at Maize High School (11600 W. 45th St. N., Maize, KS 67101). Parking will be in the Maize High School parking lot. This year, as in the previous year, all activities will be outside only. This is a 3.1 mile event, beginning and ending at the football stadium.  This is an annual Memorial event, held in honor of two Maize High graduates that were killed by a drunk driver returning home from Colorado to Kansas over Spring break 2011.

Join us for the TopCity Half Marathon & 5K on May 2nd, 2026.  The Top City Half Marathon & 5k aims to be a premiere event that enhances the health, wellness and culture of Topeka.  The route takes you on the popular Shunga running trail, while also showcasing the neighborhoods of Kansas’ TopCity. Join us for a fun, family-friendly event at Kansas City Kansas Community College! The Blue Devil 5K offers something for everyone—walkers, joggers, and runners of all paces are welcome.  The Blue Devil 5K will be held rain or shine. However, the race director reserves the right to cancel the event if conditions are deemed unsafe. No refunds will be issued for any reason. EVENT PARKING:  All participants and spectators should use Parking Lot I for packet pickup and event parking. Parking Lot I is the large lot located off Delaware Street in front of the Campus Childcare Center (Little Leaders) and the Credit Union. This free event is to celebrate the health and wellbeing of Shawnee Mission School District staff and their family members.  *This event is closed to the general public.  All SMSD staff members and their immediate families are invited.  Children 8 years of age and up are allowed to register for the 5K event.  Children under 8 are allowed to participate in the 5K, but must be with an adult at all times while on the race course.  Strollers are welcome. Start and finish line is in the Shawnee Mission South stadium with 5K route on the Indian Creek Trail. Pre-race activities start at 8:45am.  Race starts at 9:00am.  Stay after the 5K for family fun, healthy lifestyle vendor booths and prize giveaways.   All SMSD staff members should complete an individual registration so your building participation is counted. The 2026 Get Busy Livin' 5k will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at 9:30 AM. The event will be held at Hutchinson Field in Pittsburg, Kansas.

Jardine Elementary is hosting a 5K walk/run through the neighborhood in honor and support of our Instructional Coach, Dr. Bridget Stegman. She was diagnosed with ALS, and proceeds for the event will go toward the ALS Association, Mid-America Chapter. In 4 years we have raised $19,850 from Steps for Stegman. The 5K will take participants through the neighborhood around Jardine Elementary. Parking is available in the West and South parking lots. The event will start on the East side of the building.   All registrants will receive an event T-shirt, if registration is completed by April 4th. If you are unable to participate in the race, but still want to contribute, please click the "Donate" button! Celebrate National Drinking Water Week with WaterOne while supporting Water for People, a non-profit organization that provides clean, safe drinking water for those in countries who need it most. The race takes you from WaterOne's water tower, to the City of Olathe's water tower and back, for a 5K like no other! Trail run along the historic Chisholm Trail. This 13.1 track takes you through rocky terrain and challenging red dirt hills. This year we are offering a team relay option to take on the 13.1 miles. As you register please check the box and sign up for your team. Minimum 2 and Max 4 participants per team. Come up with your team name and divide an conquer the trail.

Come out for a day of fun with our 5k family fun run and walk.  Meet Flip the frog, our mascot, and have a great morning with friends and family. Stay for the after party with fun music.  All proceeds go to Landon's Legacy which was started in memory of our son, Landon.  He had a big heart and we are keeping his love for others going by offering financial assistance to students enrolled in the Leavenworth USD 453 school district.   All participants will receive a Landon's Legacy "Be the Light" 5K t-shirt and finishers will receive a unique medal.  The race begins and ends at Cody Park where Landon grew up playing.  Parking is free and easily accessible.  There are also pickle ball and basketball courts if you want to keep the adventure going after the 5k. Saturday In The Park is a 5K race and 1 mile Fun Run open to the public and is sponsored by Run4Fun. The 5K course is through the lovely Independence Riverside Park and adjoining street while the fun run is within the park complex. There will be finisher medals and snacks at the finish line. Top finishers will be recognized.     We welcome runners of all ages! Between the 5K and fun run, our event includes a fifty yard Tot-trot for children 5 and under.  No registration is required for the Tot-trot. Each tot receives a medal for finishing. This is the third year of the Toadstrangler 5K put on by the Rossville Community Foundation. Your participation in this race helps spread awareness of the progress the Foundation is making on its trails, as well as raise money to continue this progress. The race begins at the Shelter House in Rossville Community Park, showcases our Toadstrangler Trail as well as the new paved trail being built in town! Come take a hike off the beaten path of the most visited park in the state of Kansas at the 2024 Shawnee Mission Park Adventure Race. Racers will enjoy hundreds of acres of nature, hiking, and biking trails, as well as beautifully preserved prairie grasslands. The park sits along the Mill Creek Streamway Park with 17+ miles of paved trails extending from the Kansas River down to Olathe, Kansas, designated as a National Recreation Trail in 2010. The race will happen rain or shine, so ensure you are prepared for any type of weather. Looking for a little adventure? Check out the 2-hour race that is all on foot and open to solos and teams. Have a bike and ready to crush the mountain bike trails? Check out the 6-hour race that will have racers trekking, biking, and paddling their way through the park. One of larger Spring fundraisers with all proceeds directly benefiting local children and their families who are experiencing a housing crisis. Join us for the First Annual Heart of the Prairie Run on May 30, 2026! This will race will be held at Blooming Soul Farm near Nickerson, KS. Please note, this is a new date from the initial scheduled date of September 30, 2025. Due to low entries, the race was postponed to the spring.  Half marathon begins at 7:00 AM 5k begins at 8:00 AM Proceeds will support The Heart of MFB and go to offering financial assistance to families in South Central Kansas who are undergoing medical treatment for birth defects. The reason for this race: Miles Jacobsen is 10 years old and currently in 4th grade. His family moved to KC in 2021 when his dad was hired as the Lead Teaching Pastor at Heartland Community Church off Strang Line Rd in Olathe. Miles Jacobsen is one of the many kids in Kansas City battling a brain tumor. Days after his 9th birthday in March 2024, he was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. After a long year of chemotherapy, Miles is now awaiting the development of more targeted therapy that will help him fight the growth of this tumor. Despite these challenges, Miles is a joyful and active kid whose positive outlook has inspired hundreds, if not thousands, of people since his diagnosis. To join CKF's 2026 Charity team, please ensure you have spoken with our staff at info@chrisklugfoundation.org to complete the necessary steps to become a Team CKF fundraiser. It is a 4-day biking event in Flint Hills, Kansas, and is considered the world’s premier gravel event; UNBOUND is a lottery with 4,000 riders. We will be taking part in the 100-mile and 200-mile races with a team of wonderful athletes.  The Chris Klug Foundation (CKF) has been a charity partner with Lifetime since 2012, raising over $250,000+ for CKF's programs. CKF's Leadville Trail 100 charity team helps to educate others on the facts of organ, eye & tissue donation while raising awareness for those awaiting a lifesaving transplant nationwide.

Kansas City's first and only 5K to benefit Hospice and Palliative Care!   Our mission is to raise awareness and support for Hospice and Palliative Care, specifically benefiting those at Kansas City  Hospice & Palliative Care and Midland Care Hospice of Topeka and Lawrence.  Since the 2011 inaugural race, Heroes for Hospice has raised and donated a net $248,000 to the two hospice houses!   This family friendly race will take place on a fun route around the Lions Gate Golf Course starting and finishing at REI in Prairiefire. Pratt's B-29 Museum is a 501(c)(3) organization.  Proceeds and donations benefit the only museum in Kansas dedicated to preserving the stories and artifacts of those who served during WWII, specifically those who served on Pratt Army Air Field from 1942-1945, and for future generations. Then join Ironman World Championship Athlete & Coach, Josh Wolf and USA Triathlon Race Director & Coach Katy Renner for our popular youth triathlon camp! Camp will focus on the fundamentals of swimming, biking, and running. Athletes must bring their own bike, helmet, and gear for each sport. Join us at the Smoke on the Plains BBQ Festival for our Smokin' 5K race! The race will be on Saturday, June 13 at 7:30am. The course is a USATF certified course. It will start and finish in High Park, and will run through the city streets of Derby, Ks. There will be awards for the overall female and overall male, and 1st place age group awards, which are sponsored by Supplement Giant!  Finisher medals will be given to everyone who crosses the finish line.
