The Legacy Estates “All Hills” event is the hilly counterpart to our popular Eola Hills “No Hills” race held each November. If Eola is flat, Legacy is not — and that’s exactly the point. Set on the stunning Legacy Estate Vineyard in the West Salem hills, this inaugural event challenges runners with rolling vineyard roads, sweeping views, and a course designed to test your legs while rewarding you at the top. 🏃‍♂️ Choose Your Distance — or Choose Them AllRacers can register for a 7K, 3K, 1-Mile, or any combination of races thanks to staggered start times. Want a 10K? Sign up for both the 7K and 3K.Want to race hard and then cruise with family? Join us for a 5k in Bush's Pasture Park. The event will start over by the softball field. Parking is available near Yew and Lefelle Streets.  The course take place on hard and soft trails. Strollers and dogs on a leash are welcome! Bibs are available for pick up on the day of the event. STRIDE Run/Walks take place in some of Salem’s most loved parks! Held once a month on a Saturday morning, May-September.

The Veteran of Foreign Wars enabling all donations to be tax deductible. Those who serve are never forgotten. Donate today! Your donations make honoring that commitment possible.

Welcome to the Awesome 3000! Join us as we return to McCulloch Stadium for another year of this exciting event. Since 1983, youth from Salem-Keizer and surrounding areas have participated in this fun run event that benefits Salem-Keizer Schools.  In 2024-2025, United Way will distribute nearly $40,000 in grants throughout the district to benefit our children. We are excited to see you again! The Awesome 3000 will be held at Willamette University, McCulloch Stadium at Bush Pasture Park on Saturday, May 16, 2026   Packet pick up: May 14th and 15th, 2026 8:00 am to 6:00 pm Location TBA   Please follow the signs for parking. This race is a fundraiser to support McKay HS Cross Country Team!   Friday, June 12th, 2026 10k starts at 7:00 pm  5k starts at 7:10 pm Starting location: Minto Brown Island Park, parking lot #3 by the pavilion The 5K and 10K courses are flat courses in a natural setting in a beautiful park. The 5K course is all on paved trails. The 10K course does have a small loop along an open trail and then returns to a paved path again. Entry fee includes a post-race ice-cream sundae and chip timing by Eclectic Edge Racing with immediate timing results. Race divisions will be 10-year age groups (1-10, 11-20, 21-30...80-89), and the top three male/female winners will be awarded ribbons. Important Details:Restrictions: No rollerblades/skates, skateboards, dogs, or unregistered participants. Baby joggers and strollers are allowed. Walkers are welcome in the 5K. Strollers and dogs on a leash are welcome! Maps are emailed to participants after 5 p.m. on Friday, the night before the event. Bibs are available for pick up at/on the day of the event. For this event, bibs are available at the Riverfront Pavilion. This event taking place in Riverfront and Minto-Brown Island Parks on a mixture of both soft and hard trail surfaces.

Haley's Heroes Foundation presents 7th Annual RUN FOR THE RARE, a 10k, 5k and 1 mile run/walk to support International Batten Disease Awareness Day.  Did you know that Rare is everywhere? Join us as we run on Sunday, June 14, 2026. 1 in 10 people have a rare disease and 50% of those are children. There are more than 7000 known rare diseases and an estimated 350 million people globally diagnosed with a rare disease. YET, 95% of all rare diseases don't have a FDA approved treatment or cure. Let's run (or walk) to change the course of the lives for all those with rare disease. Post pictures at #RUNWALKFORTHERARE!   The race will start and finish outside of the Pavilion in the North Meadow. Starting time is 10am and all participants should be finished by 1pm. Join us for CASA of Marion County's Superhero Run! Not all superheroes wear capes, some run or walk! Join CASA of Marion County at Salem Riverfront Park for our annual Superhero Run. Kid-friendly and costumes strongly encouraged! Through its volunteers, CASA of Marion County advocates for abused and neglected children in foster care. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to child safety. Proceeds support CASA operations.

9th Annual Race to Save the Harvest! Minto-Brown Island Park It's hard to believe this family-friendly race has been going and growing for 9 years! Thank you for continuing to support our mission to feed hungry families and reduce food waste. The 3k out-and-back course, and 5k loop course, will be within Minto-Brown Park along shaded, hard-surface paths. The start and finish lines will be at the south end of Parking Lot 3 near the covered picnic area. Please review the course maps located under the Race Info tab at the top of this webpage. There will be No Official Timing at this event. Our focus is on providing a safe, fun, family event where you can run, walk, hop, skip, or jump your way through the course with friends and family to support the work and mission of Salem Harvest. Bush Park Thursday Night Races – August 2026 Join us this August for another exciting season of Bush Park Thursday Night Races!
