In it's 18th year the RNUTS series gives you the chance to run trail races ranging from 5k to marathon from January 10th to May 31st.  Start your year out right, with great, well run, challenging races with a great group of people. 2026 Rules, Eligibility and Fees Each series entrant must register for and complete 5 of the 7 RNUTS events to qualify for the series awards This series has been created to showcase the trails in and around the Roanoke Valley and help turn you into a Mountain Junkie.   We need more of you to help us feel normal. Join us for the Annual Black Cat 10 & 20 Miler happening in Salem, MA in preparation for the Boston Marathon in April! Participants will choose from a 10 or 20 mile distance, those who choose the 20, will have a 4 hour time cap to complete the 20 mile distance. The course will offer aid stations every 1.5-2 miles and there will be a ton of cheerful volunteers. Participants will receive an epic custom finisher medal that will be a nice addition to anyone's medal collection. The event attracts close to 600+ runners, including elites to beginners traveling from all over the Country. We promise running through the historic streets of the Witch City & scenic Marblehead will make these miles fly by!

Who We Are: Healthy Kids Running Series is a five (5) week running program in the spring and fall for kids Pre-K through 8th grade. Each HKRS Series takes place once a week and offers age-appropriate running events including the 50 & 75 yard dashes, the 1/4 mile, the 1/2 mile and the 1 mile run. Kids will earn points for each race they complete based on their finish. Pricing: The registration fee covers the entire five (5) weeks of the Series which includes race bibs for each week, a runner shirt, a finisher medal and any sponsor giveaways. Registration is non-refundable and non-transferable. Online Early Bird registration increases three weeks prior to the first race event.  Challenger: This Series offers a Challenger Division which is an adaptive 75 yard race for children with disabilities and/or special needs. This allows for parents, siblings, and friends to be on the course with runners to provide support as well as bringing their own supportive devices such as crutches, brace

This 5K is open to all ages and abilities, whether you walk, jog, run, push a stroller, or cheer from the sidelines. Participants will be showered in vibrant color along the route as we celebrate courage, healing, and community connection. The competitive race will begin at 9:00 AM, followed by the non-competitive walk/run at 9:05 AM, allowing everyone to participate at their own pace. The Legacy Estates “All Hills” event is the hilly counterpart to our popular Eola Hills “No Hills” race held each November. If Eola is flat, Legacy is not — and that’s exactly the point. Join us for a 5k in Bush's Pasture Park. The event will start over by the softball field. Parking is available near Yew and Lefelle Streets.  The course take place on hard and soft trails. Strollers and dogs on a leash are welcome! Bibs are available for pick up on the day of the event. STRIDE Run/Walks take place in some of Salem’s most loved parks! Held once a month on a Saturday morning, May-September.

Welcome to the Awesome 3000! Join us as we return to McCulloch Stadium for another year of this exciting event. Since 1983, youth from Salem-Keizer and surrounding areas have participated in this fun run event that benefits Salem-Keizer Schools.  In 2024-2025, United Way will distribute nearly $40,000 in grants throughout the district to benefit our children. We are excited to see you again! 5K RUN/WALK (ALL AGES) and 1/2 MILE KIDS RUN (AGES 6-12) 9:00 AM      MAY 16, 2026    Salem Riverfront Park 200 Water Street NE, Salem, OR 97301 Participation is open to everyone in the community.  This is our 10th year honoring the men and women who have died in service to our country.  By reaching out to the survivors and family members, we hope to promote a community of support on behalf of those “Never Forgotten.” Donations: This event is free to the participants and open to the community.  The race is funded through donations and sponsorship from local businesses and the community.  All contributions can be made on this website. Join us for the inaugural Greenford Memorial Day 5K, taking place on Monday, May 25th, 2026, at Greenford Christian Church.

This race is a fundraiser to support McKay HS Cross Country Team!   Friday, June 12th, 2026 10k starts at 7:00 pm  5k starts at 7:10 pm Starting location: Minto Brown Island Park, parking lot #3 by the pavilion The 5K and 10K courses are flat courses in a natural setting in a beautiful park. The 5K course is all on paved trails. The 10K course does have a small loop along an open trail and then returns to a paved path again. Entry fee includes a post-race ice-cream sundae and chip timing by Eclectic Edge Racing with immediate timing results. Race divisions will be 10-year age groups (1-10, 11-20, 21-30...80-89), and the top three male/female winners will be awarded ribbons. Important Details:Restrictions: No rollerblades/skates, skateboards, dogs, or unregistered participants. Baby joggers and strollers are allowed. Walkers are welcome in the 5K. Strollers and dogs on a leash are welcome! Maps are emailed to participants after 5 p.m. on Friday, the night before the event. Bibs are available for pick up at/on the day of the event. For this event, bibs are available at the Riverfront Pavilion. This event taking place in Riverfront and Minto-Brown Island Parks on a mixture of both soft and hard trail surfaces.

Haley's Heroes Foundation presents 7th Annual RUN FOR THE RARE, a 10k, 5k and 1 mile run/walk to support International Batten Disease Awareness Day.  Did you know that Rare is everywhere? Join us as we run on Sunday, June 14, 2026. 1 in 10 people have a rare disease and 50% of those are children. There are more than 7000 known rare diseases and an estimated 350 million people globally diagnosed with a rare disease. YET, 95% of all rare diseases don't have a FDA approved treatment or cure. Let's run (or walk) to change the course of the lives for all those with rare disease. Join us for CASA of Marion County's Superhero Run! Not all superheroes wear capes, some run or walk! Join CASA of Marion County at Salem Riverfront Park for our annual Superhero Run. Kid-friendly and costumes strongly encouraged! Through its volunteers, CASA of Marion County advocates for abused and neglected children in foster care. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to child safety. Proceeds support CASA operations.

9th Annual Race to Save the Harvest! Minto-Brown Island Park It's hard to believe this family-friendly race has been going and growing for 9 years! Thank you for continuing to support our mission to feed hungry families and reduce food waste. The 3k out-and-back course, and 5k loop course, will be within Minto-Brown Park along shaded, hard-surface paths. The start and finish lines will be at the south end of Parking Lot 3 near the covered picnic area. Please review the course maps located under the Race Info tab at the top of this webpage. This annual community open water swim event typically attracts an average of 200 swimmers split between three different distances. The temperature of the water is typically about 66 degrees F. The swim takes place in a calm, protected cove, and is well supported with at least a dozen volunteers in kayaks/paddleboarders. Cozy unisex t-shirts will be guaranteed for all participants pre-registered by August 1st. Latex swim caps will be provided for all swimmers. If you are allergic to latex, please feel free to bring your own.

The FCA "Stay the Course" 5K & 1-Mile takes place on Saturday, August 15th, 2026. The event takes place at First Christian Church in Salem.  The address is:  1151 E. 6th Street, Salem, Ohio 44460. The 1-Mile begins at 8:15am and the 5K begins at 8:30am.   Registration includes a commemorative finisher medal, participant shirt and chip-timed bib number. Both races are professionally chip-timed by GCXC Racing - Youngstown.

The Joe LaRocco 5k and Elementary School 1k Run are a part of the Knights Crossing Cross Country Invitational hosted by Cave Spring High School. These courses are flat, fast, and 100% grass/gravel. The Utah County Santa Run 5K and 1.55 mile is the last of the Utah Santa Runs and has a new course. Held in Salem Utah near Payson. All participants get a Santa Suit to run in and Milk and Cookie Aid stations supported by Elves that dress as Volunteers. This is an awesome looped course around Salem Pond. Salem Pond has an incredible Christmas display of lights floating on their pond. Run over their bridge and feel the beauty of the season.
