Night owls, come light up the night! This 6K run lines up at 11:59 PM (Friday Night) and the race starts at Midnight Saturday morning near the gate at Uppill Road. Bring your glow sticks and lights to add to the festivities. We will have a glow in the dark arch at the start / finish and MoonPies as a treat after your cross the line.   Course Description The course continues up Rundill road hill, then circles around Iroquois Park Road and Toppill Road before coming back down the hill. Every mile will get easier! Note: Every runner is REQUIRED to have a headlamp or flashlight for your and other participants safety.   No Race Day Registration Since it will be dark at the race start time, there will be NO registration at the race. Each year, the Sarcoma Foundation of America raises awareness and funds for much-needed research, through RTCS events across the country. Race the Runway 5.02K is the first event in the Planet Fitness Mayorthon Race Series. This race will be professionally chip-timed. All participants will receive a commemorative Race the Runway 5.02K short-sleeved shirt and a custom finisher medal. Join us before and after the race for light snacks and refreshments, and be sure to visit our vendors and sponsor booths. Pre-race festivities begin at 8 a.m. with snacks, refreshments and opportunities to connect with our vendors and sponsors. Walkers and runners will take off at 9 a.m. Part of the course takes place on the Bowman Field runway, where participants will run alongside aircraft for a truly unique race-day experience. Packet pick-up will be held Friday, Aug. 7, from 12–6 p.m. at the Bowman Field Administrative Office (2815 Taylorsville Rd.). Race-day packet pick-up will also be available from 8–8:45 a.m.

Join us on Tuesday, August 11th for this fun 5k. The race starts at 6:30 p.m. near the Iroquois Amphitheater. We recommend getting there early to allow plenty of time for parking and check-in. This family friendly community event brought to you by the Iroquois Hill Runners provides the perfect opportunity to come out and attempt your first 5K or put your yourself to the test and break a PR. The rolling course around the base of Iroquois Park is full of ample beauty to enjoy while avoiding the hustle and bustle of traffic.    This is a DONATION based entry event! Finish 3 of the 4 races (In-person or Virtual) and receive a fun cryptid medal and series survivor shirt! The Wolfman Race is the third in a series of trail runs through Louisville's beautiful parks. This is a seven mile run through the trails of Iroquois Park.  We'll start near the amphitheater winding through Iroquois Park.  Wolfman / Dogman / Upright Walking Canid Cryptids while there are may names for these beasts, Kentucky has its fair share of reports and stories. The most well known is likely the Beast of LBL (Land Between the Lakes). Closer to Louisville we have the Beast of Bullitt County. Reports of sightings of these beasts come from across the state. Many describe the beast as around 7 Ft tall, with dog/werewolf type features, walking upright through the shadows. The Louisville Pure Tap® 5K, presented by the Louisville Water Company, begins and ends at the home of Louisville’s award-winning drinking water: Louisville Water Tower (3005 River Road). This family-friendly race follows a scenic course running east and west along River Road.The race will start at 8:30 a.m. on Aug. 29, 2026. The 9/11 Heroes Run 5K welcomes runners, ruckers, and walkers of all ages and fitness levels to honor the heroes of 9/11 and those who've served our nations since. We activate & unite communities and empower local veterans, active duty, first responders, and families of the fallen. TMF is proud to partner with GORUCK again with rucking divisions at every run. Rucking is a sport based on special forces training in which participants walk or run while carrying weighted rucksacks. The 2026 Bourbon & Beyond 5K takes place at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026, at the Kentucky Expo Center (937 Phillips Ln.). The Urban Bourbon Half Marathon is a 13.1‑mile experiential destination race that celebrates more than 200 years of Louisville and Kentucky’s distilling heritage. Starting and finishing in downtown Louisville, the course winds through the vibrant fall foliage of Cherokee Park, one of the city’s most scenic landmarks. Each race will highlight a different local park and keep you motivated for spring racing.  This time we are hitting the trails of Waverly park for a 6.6 mile loop or go all out for a half marathon.   Will there be a virtual option? Yes! As with our Cryptid series in the summer, the Winter Warrior Series does offer a virtual option by request and we bump everyone over who did not finish in person to this option after the race. Rainbow Dash isn’t your average community run—it’s a day built around inclusion, joy, and support for LGBTQIA+ youth. This event features a certified 5K course through scenic Seneca Park, designed for runners, walkers, and rollers of all abilities. The loop is accessible for strollers and wheelchairs, with plenty of rest stops and clear course markers. But Rainbow Dash goes beyond the finish line. Throughout the morning, you’ll find playful “Wacky Race” challenges—think costume relays, obstacle segments, and interactive pit stops where teams can earn prizes for creativity, teamwork, and spirit. Whether you’re competitive or just out for a good time, there’s something for everyone.
