The 46th edition of the Heart O' Dixie Triathlon will be held on Saturday June 20th, 2026 - during the Neshoba County Fair. The race begins at 6:30 a.m. with a 1/2 mile swim in Lake Tiak O’Khata in Louisville, MS -  followed by a 27 mile bike ride down hwy 15 into Philadelphia, MS -  it concludes with a 6.5 mile run finishing on the horse racing track at the historic Neshoba County Fairgrounds. The first Heart O' Dixie Triathlon was held in 1980 not long after the first modern swim/bike/run Triathlon event was held at Mission Bay in San Diego, California in 1974.  The Heart O' Dixie Triathlon is one of the longest running triathlons in the United States. We invite you to come experience one of the most unique, yet thrilling triathlons in the U.S.

WOOHOO!!!  We are so excited to be doing our run in the Parklands again this year! Participants run five (timed with awards) or three (fun run but timed) miles through the beautiful trails of Turkey Run Park (Parklands of Floyd Fork) to benefit Second Chances Wildlife Center. Second Chances is a nonprofit that provides Environmental Education programs to the Louisville area community. They also offer wildlife rehabilitation and safe release of injured and orphaned animals. Race proceeds and additional donations go back to saving our local wildlife. This pays for medicines, cleaning supplies, vet visits, formula, food, etc. Thank you for your support.  Runners receive a custom series medal and long sleeve hoodie tech tee. Each year, the Sarcoma Foundation of America raises awareness and funds for much-needed research, through RTCS events across the country. Race the Runway 5.02K is the first event in the Planet Fitness Mayorthon Race Series. This race will be professionally chip-timed. All participants will receive a commemorative Race the Runway 5.02K short-sleeved shirt and a custom finisher medal. Join us before and after the race for light snacks and refreshments, and be sure to visit our vendors and sponsor booths. Pre-race festivities begin at 8 a.m. with snacks, refreshments and opportunities to connect with our vendors and sponsors. This is a seven mile run through the trails of Iroquois Park.  We'll start near the amphitheater winding through Iroquois Park.  Wolfman / Dogman / Upright Walking Canid Cryptids while there are may names for these beasts, Kentucky has its fair share of reports and stories. The most well known is likely the Beast of LBL (Land Between the Lakes). Closer to Louisville we have the Beast of Bullitt County. Reports of sightings of these beasts come from across the state. Many describe the beast as around 7 Ft tall, with dog/werewolf type features, walking upright through the shadows. The 9/11 Heroes Run 5K welcomes runners, ruckers, and walkers of all ages and fitness levels to honor the heroes of 9/11 and those who've served our nations since. We activate & unite communities and empower local veterans, active duty, first responders, and families of the fallen. TMF is proud to partner with GORUCK again with rucking divisions at every run. Rucking is a sport based on special forces training in which participants walk or run while carrying weighted rucksacks. The 2026 Bourbon & Beyond 5K takes place at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026, at the Kentucky Expo Center (937 Phillips Ln.). Come run into the sunset and enjoy the Georgia night with the Red Dirt Runners at the 2nd Annual "Rollin Into The Night" 6 Hour trail run. This is a completely free run.  You only pay in sweat and hopefully not tears.  Donations to help offset some of the cost are appreciated. The course is a 2-mile single track trail loop with plenty of trees, creek beds, and challenging short climbs.  There is approximately 250' of elevation gain per loop.  Thanks to Hurricane Helene, this year's course has been modified and is the same as the “Southern Chicken Fried 25/50K" course. The Urban Bourbon Half Marathon is a 13.1‑mile experiential destination race that celebrates more than 200 years of Louisville and Kentucky’s distilling heritage. Starting and finishing in downtown Louisville, the course winds through the vibrant fall foliage of Cherokee Park, one of the city’s most scenic landmarks. Rainbow Dash isn’t your average community run—it’s a day built around inclusion, joy, and support for LGBTQIA+ youth. This event features a certified 5K course through scenic Seneca Park, designed for runners, walkers, and rollers of all abilities. The loop is accessible for strollers and wheelchairs, with plenty of rest stops and clear course markers. But Rainbow Dash goes beyond the finish line.
