Sheriff’s Zombie Run

El Paso, TX
Sheriff’s Zombie 5K Run Date & Time October 24 Run starts at 6 pm Finish Festival immediately following Run Registrations after 10/11 will not receive a t-shirt Event limited to the first 500 registrants Registration fees Early Registration: $25 per person, through Sept 30 Late Registration: $35 per person, October 1-23 Run Day Registration: $45 per person October 24 Swag First 500 registrations before October 4 receive t-shirt All participants will receive swag bag with tear flag belt (belt to be returned at end of race to exchange for medal) Packet pick up Pick up at 3850 Justice St, El Paso, TX 79938 Oct 21-23 from 9am-6pm Race day pick up at the start line from 5pm-5:45pm How It Works Zombie Run is an apocalyptic immersive experience. You are not running against a clock — you’re running from brain-hungry, virus-spreading, bloody zombies. BASIC SURVIVAL Before the race, you will be given a flag belt, just like the overly intimidating game of flag football. These flags represent your health. The zombies want to take your flags. WHAT YOU’RE UP AGAINST There will be zombies. Their job is to chase you — but mainly go after your health, in the form of your flag belt. Avoid the zombies to keep your health flags. Use speed, strategy and your intact brains to make it to the FINISH LINE “alive” with at least ONE FLAG INTACT. If you finish with zero health flags, this means the zombies have successfully transformed you into the “undead”. HOW YOU’LL DO IT There will be a start line, and a finish line, and the opportunity to avoid Zombies in between.

Race Against Human Trafficking (powered by Plant A Seed)

El Paso, TX
Race Against Human Trafficking (powered by Plant A Seed) Saturday, January 23, 2027 — 8:00 AM MT Downtown El Paso, TX 1 Mile Fun Run · 5K · Virtual 5K · Lollipop Kids Run "It's Time to Step Into Action, Speak Out, and Make a Difference" — a community 5K/Walk raising awareness and funds against human trafficking. Every step supports Plant A Seed's work to fight exploitation. Our Mission: Awareness. Education. Prevention. The Race Against Human Trafficking is more than a race. It is an opportunity to bring our community together, learn, and move into action. Education is at the heart of this event. Human trafficking does not always look the way it is portrayed in movies or television. Through the race, we connect participants with credible information, local organizations, and resources to better understand trafficking, recognize warning signs, know where to seek help, and continue these conversations beyond race day. We also want to empower parents and caregivers to have age-appropriate conversations with young people about safety, healthy relationships, boundaries, online interactions, and asking for help. Our goal is not to create fear. It is to create awareness, build knowledge, strengthen connections, and empower action. Awareness starts the conversation. Education builds understanding. Prevention moves us into action. Beneficiary: A portion of race proceeds will be donated to United Way of El Paso County, which will allocate the funds to organizations focused on anti-trafficking education and direct services for victims and survivors. What Your Sponsorship & Participation Builds Your sponsorship helps build and grow the race, expand its reach, and strengthen our focus on awareness, education, and prevention. Michelob Ultra El Paso Marathon, Raiz Federal Credit Union Half Marathon, and Spine & Rehab Specialists 5K Run/Walk

El Paso, TX
About the Races In 2027, the El Paso Marathon races will return to our roots when we once again finish in Downtown, just as the marathon did for our first race in 2007. Finishing downtown not only gives runners and spectators alike a chance to enjoy the historic center of the city, it lets runners finish on a net decline, which helps them with their finish time and improves their chances to qualify for the 2027 Boston Marathon or the 2027 Abbott WMM MTT Age Group Marathon World Championships. The Michelob Ultra El Paso Marathon is a qualifier for both the Boston and the Abbott Age Group Championship marathons. Many El Paso Marathon overall winners and age group winners have gone on to compete in those races. Held on the same day as the Raiz Federal Credit Union Half Marathon and the Spine & Rehab Specialists 5K, the marathon and its associated races have attracted runners from nearly every state in the United States and from countries as varied as Mexico, France, Norway, Liberia, and Germany.
