TRI Columbus race is located in beautiful Columbus, Indiana in the Tipton Lakes neighborhood. The race is 8 minutes from the I65 Columbus/Bloomington exit. TRI Columbus was formally known as the Columbus Challenge Triathlon which ended in 2018. The Columbus Running Club has brought back the much loved event.  The triathlon event is a 500m swim in Tipton Lakes (time trial start) followed by a 13.5 mile bike through the country and a 5k run. The duathlon is a 5k run, 13.5 mile bike and a 5k run. Spectators are encouraged to come!

We are honored to host the annual Patrolman Samuel C. Irvin Legacy 5K Walk/Run at Mansfield Twp. Park. The event will take place on the paved Kinkora Trail that winds through woods and farm fields. This event is in memory of our 23-year-old son, Sam, who tragically passed away from sudden cardiac arrest on July 23, 2023, while working out. Following his passing, we learned that Sam had a genetic mutation known as Brugada Syndrome. Sam was a three-sport athlete in high school and played college baseball. He had recently graduated from college and the Gloucester Police Academy and was serving as a patrolman for the Mansfield Police Department at the time of his death. He is survived by his son Beau Samuel. This event, with your participation and support, will not only honor Sam's legacy but also make a meaningful impact by supporting student athletic scholarships established in Sam's name at Northern Burlington County Regional High School. The 2nd Annual P.A.I.L. Remembrance & Awareness Walk will be hosted by Alive In My Heart, Miles’ Mission, Columbus Public Health, and Nationwide Children's Hospital at Genoa Park in Columbus on Saturday morning, October 11, 2025. The event will bring awareness and support around the experience of Pregnancy and Infant Loss (“P.A.I.L.”) and honor and remember all of the babies we miss, babies who are loved beyond measure. Building on a tradition started in 2023 with a P.A.I.L. 5k hosted by Timmy’s Kids, the walk will bring together the Columbus and surrounding communities to support parents grieving the loss of a baby.
