The James Island Connector Run (JICR) provides one of the most scenic race routes in the Southeast and one of the most challenging courses in the Lowcountry! Overlooking the beautiful Ashley River and the historic downtown peninsula of Charleston, this 8K Run, 5K Run, and 5K Walk starts and finishes on the James Island Connector from the James Island side of the river, staying on the connector with no exit ramps. The post-race festival includes a finishers medal and food at the finish line. The race starts at 8:00 am for all distances, runners and walkers.   Awards & Swag We will have the top finisher awards as well as 3 deep in all age groups and a walkers award: top 3 Male and Female walkers. All runners and walkers receive finisher's medals.  If you register close to race day, your preferred shirt size may not be available. S.A.F.E. 1 in 26 10K, 5K Run & Stroll is a family-friendly community event raising awareness and support for the 1 in 26 people who will be diagnosed with epilepsy during their lifetime. Participants of all ages and abilities are invited to join the 10K, 5K run, or stroll as we come together to advocate, educate, and inspire while supporting South Carolina's epilepsy community. Hosted by South Carolina Advocates For Epilepsy (S.A.F.E.), this event celebrates inclusion, awareness, and hope—one step at a time. Packet pick up will be at Cannon Distillery (1734 Signal Point Rd, Charleston, SC 29412) on Friday, October 30, 4-7pm. Packets may also be picked up during check-in on day of event.

Join us on November 14 at 9 AM for our Veterans Day Fun Run/Walk in Hampton Park, Charleston, SC! All runners and walkers receive BOTH a long sleeve shirt and medal commemorating the event. To ensure you receive your preferred shirt size, please register before September 7, 2026. If you register after this date, you'll still receive a shirt, but we can't make any promises on sizing. Packet Pick Up Packet pick up will be Friday, November 13, 2026 at Fleet Feet West Ashley (1401 Sam Rittenberg Blvd, Charleston) from 10 AM - 5 PM. You may pick up for family or friends or have a friend pick up your packet for you. You must pick up your shirt and swag at packet pick up. We do not have race day packet pick up. Donations Welcome Please donate to help our veteran community. Everyone can donate to our veteran causes! Donors can honor a veteran with a flag (4 in by 6 in) with a donation of $10 or more, or with a large sign (2 ft by 1.5 ft) with a donation of $30 or more. You can make your donation “in honor of”, or “in memory of”, the name of a veteran, and the veteran's name will then be put on the flag or sign. Flags will be placed together prominently at the event; the signs will be displayed, individually and prominently, along the course. You may pick them up after the event. You are also welcome to join us for the walk, free of charge for a nice cool down following your run. The walk ceremony will start at 9:30 and the walk will begin immediately following the ceremony. The 2026 Move With MADD Lowcountry is Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD)'s signature fundraising event to help us raise awareness and funds to end impaired driving for good. THE 49TH ANNUAL TURKEY DAY RUN AND GOBBLE WOBBLE Join us on November 26, 2026 to burn off your Thanksgiving calories before you've even consumed 'em! The Turkey Day Run’s mission is to raise money for local charities. The Turkey Day Run & Gobble Wobble is a premiere charity event that has a direct and meaningful impact in the lives of families throughout the Charleston metropolitan area. A family tradition for 49 years, The Turkey Day Race brings together the community in a safe and family fun atmosphere. The event welcomes all people to participate as an athlete, volunteer, or spectator. The Charleston Turkey Day Run is the 3rd largest Thanksgiving day 5k in the US! Registration will remain open until the event sells out. Register early to secure your spot! NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION OR PACKET PICKUP. Half-Moon Outfitters Reindeer Run, presented by The Charleston Place, is a family-oriented, pet-friendly 5k run/walk located in downtown Charleston, SC. This year we celebrate our 35th year of the annual race! The event has grown significantly over the years; from only a few hundred participants to record attendance of over 3,500 runners.  The funds generated from the Reindeer Run benefits the MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital located in downtown Charleston. This hospital provides more spacious, family-centered amenities and expanded services, including an expanded neonatal intensive care unit, an entire floor dedicated to the care of children with cancer, and the most comprehensive pediatric heart center in South Carolina. Start off 2027 on the right foot with a 5K at Charles Towne Landing State Park. As you run or walk, enjoy the spectacular river, marsh views, and majestic oaks. Our course is a beautiful place to reflect on the past year and set goals for 2027. After the 5K, we'll have soup, cornbread, and traditional Hoppin' John (vegetarian options included) indoors, where you can make memories with your family as well as new and old friends. We will be recycling shirts and awards from various local events, and awards are five-year age groups, five places deep. We know getting up on New Year's Day can be tough, so pajamas are welcome! Packet Pick Up & Race Day Details Early packet pick up is December 31 from 11 AM - 4 PM at Fleet Feet West Ashley (1401 Sam Rittenberg Blvd). We recommend picking up your packet early and all who come on Wednesday receive a free pair of Race the Landing socks. Packet pickup on race day starts at 7:30 AM, and the run/walk starts at 9 AM. Check-in begins at 8:00 AM and the race starts at 10:00 AM. The event is pet-friendly, but all pets must remain leashed at all times. This is a certified 5K with professional timing. All results will be posted immediately after the race. To guarantee your Cupid's Chase shirt, please register by January 1, 2027; after that date, shirts will be available while supplies last. Giveaways include a Cupid's Chase finisher medal and drawstring bag, available while supplies last. Trophies will be awarded to the top 3 overall male and female finishers.
