Join us for the 15th Annual Beaufort Twilight Run, The Lowcountry's biggest running festival, hosted by and benefitting Riverview Charter School! This USATF sanctioned running festival is for all ages and offers four competitive, chip-timed courses - 10 Mile Run, 8K Run, 5K Run, 1 Mile Youth Run -  in addition to the 5K Fun Walk and a 1/4 mile Kid’s Fun Run. Participants can compete for the 13.1 Challenge title by running in both the 5K and 10 Mile events. There is a $6,000+ prize purse with great age group awards in the 10 Mile, 8K, 5K Run and 13.1 Challenge. After the races, stay and enjoy the party with gourmet Food Trucks and Live Music. Saturday, June 6, 2026 Event Options 3.2-Mile Beaufort River Swim1-Mile Swim3.2-Mile Swim/5K Run1-Mile Swim/5K RunOr Relay Option (Timed Event but No Awards Given) ALL PROCEEDS BENEFIT THE WARDLE FAMILY YMCA'S LEARN TO SWIM PROGRAM!   Interested in sponsoring or donating to the 2026 Beaufort River Swim, please contact Perri Flaherty at p.flaherty@wardleflamilyymca.org or (843) 379-1365.   Swim Race Course: Our 3.2 mile course is the unique estuary called the Beaufort River, starting at the Safe Harbor Port Royal Landing Marina, winding around the curve, and finishing at the day dock, adjacent to the Beaufort Waterfront Park, with spectators watching the finish line. The course is approximately 3.2 miles swimming with the tide. The water temp is mild to warm, usually mid 70's. The surface wave conditions range from calm to choppy at times depending upon the weather. Our 1 mile course follows this same path, but begins at the Beaufort Memorial Hospital Dock. Thank you for your support of HELP of Beaufort.   Join Help of Beaufort for our annual FIRECRACKER 5K Race on the morning of July 4th in Downtown Beaufort.  Starting at 8am on Saturday, July 4, 2026, on Bay & Newcastle Streets.  Run through historic downtown Beaufort and across the famous Woods bridge following a certified 5K course.  Packet pickup will be available at Grounded Running located at 2139 Boundary Street, Ste 108, Beaufort, SC 29902 on Friday, July 3rd from 10am until 4pm.  T-shirts and sizes are not guaranteed for registrations after June 1, 2025.    Please note that we have added the ability to register as a Virtual Participant.  Virtual participants can receive a t-shirt for an additional $15.00 and have their shirt mailed to them. All events include T-shirts.  T-shirt size is guaranteed during Early Bird sign up only.  After this date shirts are given out on a first come, first serve basis at packet pick up until supplies are gone. The 5K course is flat and quick, and offers a pleasant trip through the scenic neighborhoods of Cat Island, Beaufort. Marshals will guide you to the registration and parking areas near the tennis courts. It’s about 2.8 miles from the turn off of Lady’s Island Drive to the event site. Keep going until you see our marshals and event signs! Thank you for your support of Habitat for Humanity of the Lowcountry and our mission to build affordable housing in Beaufort! The Beaufort Turkey Trot is part of the Beaufort Triple Crown, a three 5k race series along with the Run Forrest Run 5K and the Swing Bridge Run 5K. Participants who register for the Beaufort Triple Crown and complete all three races will be eligible for special BTC series awards for best combined time.
