The Beaufort Lions Club is pleased to announce our 8th Annual Beaufort Bridge Run 5K Race and 1+ Mile Dog Strut on November 7, 2026, with the course going on and over the two bridges in Beaufort. These events are the only ones to feature both Beaufort bridges – the high-rise Gallants Channel (Grayden Paul) Bridge and the Turner Street Bridge. With this run/walk event, the Beaufort Lions Club will be starting our 2nd decade of fundraising road races. Previous events of this popular Fall race were the Glow Run in 2015 and 2016, the Front Street Gallop races in 2017 and 2018, the inaugural Beaufort Bridge Run in 2019 and 6 more BBRs starting in 2020 going through 2025, attracting hundreds of participants – running, walking and barking for charitable causes supported by the Beaufort Lions Club. The Swing Bridge Run will be on Saturday, November 7th, 2026. Join Holy Trinity Classical Christian School in cooperation with the City of Beaufort for a 5K Run and All Ages Bridge Walk through historic downtown Beaufort and across the Woods bridge on a USATF certified 5k course. The Swing Bridge Run is the 2nd race of the Beaufort Triple Crown Race Series. This includes the Run Forrest Run(Oct.3), Swing Bridge Run (Nov. 7) and Turkey Trot (Nov. 26). Register for the 2026 Beaufort Triple Crown Bundle (on this website) to support three local nonprofits - Beaufort Digital Corridor, Holy Trinity Classical Christian School, and Habitat for Humanity of the Lowcountry. Participants who complete the race series will be eligible for special awards for the best combined time. ONLY 125 SPOTS AVAILABLE! Register before the Oct. 1 cutoff! Don't like to run? Join us for our 4th Annual Wobble Down Front 5K Race and 1 Mile Fun Run on Thanksgiving Day. This is a Turkey Trot like no other! The race takes runners(and walkers) down historic Beaufort's beautiful waterfront and concludes in the center of town with an award ceremony and festive celebration. Due to our event participation growing each year, we are excited to announce that this year's race will be electronically timed and recorded. Crystal Coast Cancer Rehab Center presents the 6th annual 5k fun run and 1-mile Cancer Survivor walk in historic Downtown Beaufort on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at 8 am. This annual event is a rewarding and fun morning race for survivors, their families, and local runners. All race proceeds benefit Crystal Coast Cancer Rehab Center, a local non-profit that provides an oncology-specific exercise training program to empower local survivors’ bodies and minds to fight back against the devastating effects of cancer and treatment.  This race is open to anyone, regardless of age or experience, and we are looking forward to a large turn out! The course is approximately 3.2 miles swimming with the tide. The water temp is mild to warm, usually mid 70's. The surface wave conditions range from calm to choppy at times depending upon the weather. Our 1 mile course follows this same path, but begins at the Beaufort Memorial Hospital Dock.
