Join the Flow Through the Snow Challenge, a winter mileage challenge for ConocoPhillips workers inspired by the routes of the TAPS, APL, and KPL pipelines. From mid-November through mid-January, participants can log miles through walking, running, biking, skiing, swimming, or other mileage-based activities as we virtually follow Alaska’s pipeline corridors together. All distances are approximate, adjusted to challenge you! Race Location Whether you run, walk, snowshoe, or just stand and cheer, you are invited to participate in the Snow Globe Run on Saturday, December 12, 2026, on Campbell Creek Trail behind the Peanut Farm restaurant at 11:00 AM. **Not sure about running in the snow? Try our snowshoe race that will start at 11:15am!** There will be a Zoo Critters themed costume contest beginning at 10:15 a.m., before the start of the race, for those wanting to dress in costume. Prizes, complements of the Peanut Farm, will be given for best, Male, Female, and Group costumes. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Alaska Zoo. Due to insurance requirements, dogs are not allowed at this event, and we ask that you leave them at home. Due to anticipated snow on the course strollers are discouraged but if you decide to participate with a stroller we ask that you start in the back. About This Event: Every year it seems, we wait til race week to see what Mother Nature brings us for conditions.. but she usually gives us something to work with! Who's ready to play in 2027 and take on the challenge? :-) The winter triathlon format includes a run, snow bike and ski. All on snow, and all based in the main race stadium of the world class nordic center of Kincaid Park. Putting on a multi-sport event takes a lot of planning, forethought and investment. The registration numbers are the key to our organizing the best event we are capable of and the most fun for you. We understand waiting til race week to see what the course will be like, just know that the price goes up a couple weeks out. Once you register, there are no refunds offered. If the event must be cancelled due to issues beyond our control (be nice, mother nature!), we will offer all registered participants a deferral to either the 2027 Hammerman or the 2028 Tri Flake. COURSE BASICS: Race start time is NOON, plan to arrive early enough to get all set up and checked in. The run is an out and back of 6K on the scenic Coastal Trail. The bike will take advantage of the multi-use trail along Raspberry Road, as well as some of the STA single track trails throughout Kincaid for a two lap course of around 13K. The ski will be freestyle format and utilize some of the nordic ski trails in Kincaid Park for a 2 lap course of around 6K. The finish will be in the stadium in front of the timing shack. There will be both solo and 2-3 person team options. We also offer a $5 discount to all active & retired military personnel (Thank You!), as well as all ATC members that are paid for 2027. Kincaid Park is located at the very west end of Raspberry Road. ATTENTION PLEASE! In-Person Race Details The Trent Waldron Half Marathon and 10k will take place on Saturday- May 23, 2026 at Margaret Sullivan Park on West 15th Ave. The cut off time to finish is 12:00 Noon. No personal pacer (runners without bibs) and absolutely no personal lead bikes. Virtual Race Details The Trent Waldron Half Marathon and 10k Virtual race takes place May 14th to May 31st, 2026. Because this is a virtual race, you run it where and when you want on your choice of running course. Please follow all pedestrian safety ordinances including running on a sidewalk where available and not in the road. Follow the rules of the road if no sidewalk or multi-use trail is available and run against oncoming traffic and not with traffic. Race Judicata is a fun-run where the legal community comes together to support the Anchorage Youth Court! Race Judicata is an annual 5k run/walk organized by the Young Lawyers Section (YLS) of the Anchorage Bar Association with proceeds benefitting the Anchorage Youth Court. The course begins at Margaret Eagan Sullivan Park (Westchester Lagoon) and goes northward up the coast trail. The entry fee is $50 and includes a t-shirt. YLS will have drinks and snacks. This is a family friendly event, but please leave your furry friends at home. Kids under 10 are free, but donations are encouraged. A bit about the Anchorage Youth Court: Anchorage Youth Court (AYC) is a diversionary program for youth in grades 7 through 12 who are accused of breaking the law to be judged by their peers. Local youth take on the roles of attorneys, judges, bailiffs, clerks, and jurors during the trials. In the spirit of the event, runners are encouraged to run in costume. Wear your best Zombie attire for this late season Half Marathon event on the Coastal and Chester Creek trails. The race will be held regardless of weather and trail conditions.There is no shuttle between the start and the finish. Runners are responsible for organizing a ride or shuttle on race day.To receive an official finish time, you must finish by the 1:30 pm cutoff time.
