Snow Globe Run

Race Location Whether you run, walk, snowshoe, or just stand and cheer, you are invited to participate in the Snow Globe Run on Saturday, December 12, 2026, on Campbell Creek Trail behind the Peanut Farm restaurant at 11:00 AM. **Not sure about running in the snow? Try our snowshoe race that will start at 11:15am!** There will be a Zoo Critters themed costume contest beginning at 10:15 a.m., before the start of the race, for those wanting to dress in costume. Prizes, complements of the Peanut Farm, will be given for best, Male, Female, and Group costumes. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Alaska Zoo. Due to insurance requirements, dogs are not allowed at this event, and we ask that you leave them at home. Due to anticipated snow on the course strollers are discouraged but if you decide to participate with a stroller we ask that you start in the back.
