Join us in celebrating the 48th annual Kiawah Island Golf Resort Marathon. Whether you’re running 13.1 or 26.2 miles, experience the natural beauty of Kiawah Island with our towering live oaks and sweeping salt marshes as you race towards the finish. Then, cross the finish line to the cheers of friends and family and enjoy our post-race celebration.

Just a 30-minute ferry ride off Hilton Head Island, SC lies Daufuskie Island. Haig Point, a private residential community on Daufuskie, hosts this ultimate event consisting of a half marathon or full marathon.  This event is produced and owned by Run 4 a Reason LLC/ Rough Runners R4R INC. Runners will experience the all-inclusive running event, as soon as they step onto the island.  The runners will be greeted with a morning cup of coffee, cinnamon rolls, and hyped entertainment to get you ready to run. Race through Haig Point, to Freeport, onto Church Rd, and then back into Haig Point along the beach.  After your race, a catered picnic lunch and an assortment of beverages await you…including a cool beer provided you’re of legal drinking age. Additionally, each runner will receive high end swag and a finishing medal to commemorate your accomplishment. Take your medal to Jacy, a local artist, and she will engrave your finishing time while enjoying the after party. Chow down and listen

Pull up and be part of something bigger than the miles. This is a FREE community run, but we’re also raising capital to help launch our Fuel The Future Youth Program — a movement focused on empowering the next generation through fitness, mentorship, and community support.   If you believe in the mission, you can also donate through Venmo: @conkreteathleticdept or CashApp: $ConkreteAthletics to help us fund the youth program. The 2Slow4Boston Marathon was created with slow runners in mind and the thought that it might be fun to host an event that would be exclusive to them. This race is all about promoting the aspect of mental toughness that exists in our sport and celebrating the people who can persevere. In this race the last participant is the winner! And we have allocated $20 of every registration to go towards award money for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place (the last 3 finishers) of the Marathon.  There now is a 2Slow4Boston Half-Marathon race. Although there won't be any prize money for the last participant, the last 3 participants of the will be acknowledge with a trophy and a gift-card.   The biggest perk of this race is that there is NO TIME LIMIT to complete either event.
