Scare-A-Thon Marathon and 10K

Grafton, OH
This unique race will take place completely within the Grafton Correctional secure perimeter. *New course* We will run a roughly 2 mile loop; 3 laps for the 10K and 13 for the Marathon. We will be running with residents that are part of the Running2bwell training program that recently started at GCI and all proceeds will support Running2bwell. We recently bought $6000 worth of shoes for the men at GCI and we're hoping to raise that amount at the race. Runners will receive a custom t-shirt (sizes not guaranteed). Most importantly, you'll have the chance to run some miles with men that are working hard to improve their lives on their home court. Female runners are allowed but there is a strict dress code. Shirts must have sleeves, shorts must go mid-thigh. No tight or form-fitting apparel. More rules may follow as I get them. Do not give anything (hats, shirts, etc.) to the men at GCI. Guest runners must be 21 or over. Guest runners cannot be currently on an inmate visitation pass. For security and logistical reasons we're limiting entries to the first 30 to register. You must arrive by 6:00 am to clear security. This isn't your usual race. Runners cannot bring anything except water bottles, hats, and watches. No phones, headphones, etc. You must bring a photo id and will need to lock your car keys in a locker at the entry point. Everyone is subject to search. While this is one of the safest facilities in the state, it's still a prison, and security for all is the highest priority. If you can't make it, please consider making a donation of any size to support this new and exciting program.

Tromptown Marathon & Half

DeRuyter, NY
This will be the 6th year for a new time, day and season for the Marathon. The two runs are some of New York State's, even nationally challenging, and yet scenic runs. The half-marathon takes you through parts of three counties, the marathon through four counties. That curious fact for the marathon should put us as number one in the nation in that category. The half-marathon course, of 49 years remains the same, but with new start and finish lines. It includes circling the lake, then the continuation of the sights, sounds, and smells of fresh country air intensity as you leave the dam, near the half-way point. As you head south for the finish line the views unfold of the valley's and the village to the east. The marathon takes in the first 12.1 miles of the half-marathon before turning south, then east at about the 17 mile point. Beginning around the 20 mile marker one heads northwest and gradually ascends to Tromptown's own but short "heartbreak hill". From 22-25 miles one is heading west, finish line bound, descending with a wide panoramic view of three valleys and their surrounding hills. The last mile is level in the village. The marathon and half-marathon are loop courses. They start very near the finish line in front of the school. Both are newly certified. With the new marathon and moving the start and finish lines for the half-marathon new certifications were required. Half-Marathon: The half-marathon is the same course as the last 49 years. However, all runs start very near the school and all runs finish at the same place in front of the school. Full Marathon: This marathon is a Boston qualifier The first 12.1 miles of the marathon course uses the half marathon course. Both runs are loop courses. Course closes at 2:30 pm Liquid support every two miles or less. T-shirts can be purchased for an additional $10

Harvest Marathon Relay

Houston, TX
************************************************************** SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT HOUSTON, TX - The Harvest Marathon Relay is returning this fall with a Guinness World Record attempt for the fastest marathon relay — Breaking Records : Feeding Houston. This year’s race will bring together runners, volunteers and sponsors, in a collective push that is as much about the community as it is the record books. Title Sponsor, S&P Global Energy, helps bring together runners, volunteers and sponsors, in a collective push that is as much about the community as it is the record books. S&P Global Energy’s title sponsorship supports the mission of the Houston Food Bank to provide Food for Better Lives. ************************************************************** The Harvest Marathon Relay is a community relay race built around a simple idea: that collective effort produces something no individual on any team can. 10 runners sharing 26.2 miles with a clear goal. One finish line with every mile tied to the Houston Food Bank. The Harvest Marathon Relay held its first event in 2017. In 2019, the format changed to have competitive and non-competitive or collaborative teams. That year, Shell Chemical’s team posted the fastest time at 2 hours 17 minutes, 41 seconds. Two years later, the team from INEOS completed the race in the exact same record finishing time. In 2022, the team from Sharpstown High School broke the record, which still stands today, at 2 hours, 14 minutes and 55 seconds. The year, the Harvest Marathon Relay celebrates its 10th anniversary. We are looking to do something special for our athletes, volunteers, community and most importantly, the Houston Food Bank. Please join us as we are Breaking Records : Feeding Houston, presented by S&P Global Energy, where a team of elite runners from the Harvest Marathon Relay community will attempt to break the Guinness World Record for a marathon relay. 6th Annual BONT Florida Inline Skating Marathon!

Sarasota, FL
The Florida Inline Skating Marathon’s Inaugural event was launched by Founder/President Mike Mason, and an impassioned ensemble of inline skaters, in October 2021. The FISM immediately became the largest skate race in Florida; and of the largest in the nation. The FISM is held at the World Class venue- Nathan Benderson Park, in the charming community of Lakewood Ranch, in sunny, Sarasota, Florida. A variety of race distances offer something for everyone, regardless of age or ability. Not since 2005 had the World Inline Cup (WIC) been represented in the USA, to which the FISM is proud to be an Associated Race. If you are returning, thank you for your past participation! If this is your first FISM, welcome! If you are considering racing, volunteering, or sponsoring the FISM, know that the Organizers will spare nothing, to provide the best possible experience for all.

ZD30 The Summit (1 Mile, 5K, and 10K, 1/2 Marathon, 30 Mile Ultra)

Boise, ID
This is The Summit. The Ultra is the final event in the Zero Dark Thirty Run Series — a progressive program designed to take participants from their first mile to 30 miles over the course of the season. The Summit represents more than distance. It represents commitment, discipline, and follow-through. It’s the culmination of months of steady effort and the closing chapter of a journey that began with a single mile. This event takes place near Veterans Day, honoring resilience, service, and the power of showing up — again and again. This race is run/walk friendly, and participants may move at their own pace. Whether you run the entire distance or use a run/walk strategy, finishing is what matters. All proceeds benefit the Zero Dark Thirty Foundation, a veteran-led nonprofit supporting veterans through movement, mentorship, and community.  DISTANCES1 Mile Perfect for walkers, beginners, families, and first-time participants. Walking is fully encouraged and welcomed. 5K (3.1 miles) 10K (6

LivSports 24 Hour Adult Hockey Marathon - NODAK

Grand Forks, ND
What is the LivSports 24 Hour Adult Hockey Marathon benefiting LivFree? Here’s how it all works - the event is a continuous game with 60 to 90 skaters playing on two teams in 3 rotating groups based on ability, with a running score from opening puck drop to the final horn. Each player raises $750 for the cause. LivFree is a pediatric cancer non-profit organization that provides children and their families with moments of joy to take a break from struggle and enjoy some family time together. Whether it's tickets to a game, a Broadway show, or a night out, LivFree is here to help the whole family. When will this take place, and how does it work? The event starts at 12pm on Saturday, November 7th, 2026, and the final horn will sound at 12pm Sunday, November 8th, 2026. Teams will be broken up into 3 groups (A, B, and C) based on ability, and each skater will get a minimum of 7 hours of ice time. The standard swag for each player will be a custom jersey, synthetic hockey socks, an event t-shirt, meals, snacks, drinks, and more. What arena will this take place at? We knew coming into this that the best way to honor the effort of the players, both in their fundraising and in their time on the ice, was by securing an amazing venue. After a few steps into the Ralph Engelstad Arena in Grand Forks, ND, you will see that we found an absolute gem. There is so much more that will be involved in this event, with opportunities for family members to come watch, raffles, fundraising incentives, brand giveaways, corporate sponsorships, and more. So get in touch with your teams, sign up, and spread the word. Don’t miss your chance to take the ice with LivFree and help change the lives of kids and families battling childhood cancer - one shift at a time.
