This community 5K and walk is being held in recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Our goal is to bring our community together to raise awareness about domestic violence, support survivors, and connect participants with local resources. The 5K will begin and end at the Temple to Music at 10:00 AM. Whether you're an experienced runner or prefer to walk, everyone is welcome! We are proud to have Sojourner House as a community partner for this event. Participants will have the opportunity to learn more about domestic violence awareness and survivor-support resources.

The Burrillville Bronco 5K is a fundraising event for the Burrillville Prevention Action Coalition (BPAC). BPAC is a volunteer working task force comprised of individuals who are interested in substance use prevention in the town of Burrillville. Funds raised from this event will directly support youth prevention initiatives throughout the community, such as prevention education, the youth coalition, the BPAC Scholarship, and substance-free events throughout Burrillville. 5k 18 years and under $20.00 5k 19 years and above $35.00 5k 1st Responders/Teacher $25 Awards will be given to the fastest male and fastest female runners this year. 5k starts at 10:15am. Helping Hands of EG is a 501(c)(3) committed to supporting local individuals facing familial death or illness. On Saturday, November 7th we will be hosting our 5K Trail Fun Run, starting at 9am in the back of East Greenwich High School. This years race will be in memory of Alyssa Rose McGraw. Alyssa passed away last August at 14 years of age. She attended Cole Middle School, and was preparing to enter the eighth grade. Alyssa's family has asked that all proceeds from this year's race go to organizations that were very meaningful to Alyssa and her family-EG Unified Sports Program, Women & Infants NICU, and Give Kids The World. We Hope to See you all November 7th! Please no dogs at the event. ABOUT THE RACE & TOUR DE PATRICK Join us for the Jameson Irish 5K on Saturday, March 6th, 2027 in Pawtucket, RI. Celebrate St. Patrick's Day with loved ones and run or walk this festive 5K. Don't forget the kids! Our kids race is open to children 12 and under. Parents are welcome to run with their kids. After the race, meet us at Azul Tequila Bar (formally Murphy’s Law) located at 2 George St. in Pawtucket. The owners of AZUL will rename the bar back to Murphy’s Law for race day only! Race rescheduled for April 17, 2027! The Central Falls School District is proud to announce that year three of the Flynn's Flyers 5k run/walk race will take place on Saturday, April 17, 2027 in Central Falls Rhode Island. The CFSD sponsored event is in memory of our long time colleague, friend, coach, and educator Ms. Kelly Flynn who suddenly passed away in the spring of 2023. Lets run together to honor the legacy of Kelly. All funds raised at this event will go towards the Girls on the Run CFSD afterschool program. Fly high, Ms. Flynn and good luck to all the runners involved. The race will start promptly at 9:00am at Yip Field with a short speaking engagement beginning at around 8:40am. Runners may start the check-in process at the starting line as early as 7:45a. The race will start and end at Yip Field in Central Falls with parking located a short distance from the starting line. Participants choose if they want to complete 3 loops of the mixed terrain scenic course to eventually complete the 3.1 mile race course. We encourage both runners and walkers to register for the event. Due to safety issues and the course design, dogs and baby carriages are not allowed. All participants will receive a t-shirt and race medal. At the conclusion of the race, there will be light refreshments for runners. We encourage family and friends to cheer runners on throughout the course. This is a rain or shine event.

The Rhode Island Half Marathon and 5K is BACK and set for Sunday, May 16th, 2027. Choose from either the half marathon or 5K, which offer some of the best views in Rhode Island, including scenic views of Narragansett Bay and the iconic Providence skyline along the East Bay Bike Path.
