The JPMorgan Chase Corporate Challenge is the world’s largest corporate running event. Powered by fitness, friendly competition and fun, Company Teams of all speeds and abilities complete a 3.5-mile race while spending quality time together outside of work.

The RiverBOO! Park 5K takes place in the hidden gem that is Riverview Park on Pittsburgh's Northside. This unique sunset run/ walk takes participants through the beautiful, scenic park, complete with a trip around the Allegheny Observatory on Observatory Hill. The course completes with a challenge as the final mile is almost all uphill! The RiverBOO! 5K is presented by the City of Pittsburgh Office of Special Events. Solo racers must be at least 15 years old. Participants ages 12–14 may compete as part of a team, provided they do not complete the paddle segment on their own. E‑bikes are not permitted. Early registration opens April 1, 2026, and closes at 1 p.m. on October 8, 2026. Note: The paddle course will be finalized closer to race day based on river conditions.

This will be a night run so bring your flashlights and glow sticks! The course will take you through the rolling streets of Frackville. There will be gentle inclines, some not so gentle inclines, with a downhill finish. This event is open to all ages and abilities. Walkers are welcome! Come dressed in your scariest, funniest, or group costumes for a chance to win some prizes! Top 3 overall runners will receive unique Frackville Fright awards as well as the top 2 in each age group. (Belmont Plateau is located 1/4 mile west off the Montgomery Drive Exit of the Schuylkill Expressway (Rt 76). Intersection of Montgomery Dr and Belmont Mansion Dr). The Warrior Dash Race will benefit the ESU Warriors Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Programs. Location: East Stroudsburg University – Eiler Martin Stadium Awards: Overall and Age Groups, Top 1-3 overall, top 1-3 in each age group, Amenities: The Little Warriors Fun Run will be one lap around the track at Eiler Martin Stadium and will go off at 8:30 a.m. prior to the 2k and 5k races. The 2k race will go off at 8:40 a.m. and the 5k race will go off at 9:00 a.m. and go out on loops around our campus. The 2k will be one loop and the 5k will encompass two different loops. There will be a water station out on the course and at the finish line as well as athletic training personnel at the start/finish line. A free race t-shirt will be included with each entry. Age group awards will be awarded after receiving the results and medals will be handed out to all of the Little Warriors in the ¼ mile Fun Run. We will also feature door prizes after the race that every entrant will be eligible to win with a 2k or 5k registration. GTT Pedal & Treat Join us for a fun Halloween-themed benefit ride along the Ghost Town Trail loop on October 10th, 2026! While the ride is free, please register in advance — it helps us plan and ensures you’ll be first to hear about next year’s event! This is a self-supported, ride-at-your-own-pace event starting at 11:00 AM at the YPCC Ebensburg Trailhead. We’ll ride the full 35-mile loop and finish back where we started. (The loop itself is 32-miles, but the extra ride to-and-from Ebensburg makes it 35-miles total!) Halloween themed colors, makeup, and costumes are encouraged — just make sure your costume doesn’t interfere with bike safety. Helmets are encouraged, and a fun attitude is a must! After the ride, we’ll all meet up for post-ride food and drinks at one of our favorite local spots, Coal Country Brewing! This ride is free, but we kindly ask that riders make a donation to the CCCRA Friends of the Trails program — helping keep the Ghost Town Trail clean, beautiful, and accessible for everyone. Waypoint Athletics, an official HYROX Training Club, is bringing a professionally timed, race-style Doubles simulation to Johnstown on Saturday, October 10, 2026. Professional event timing will be provided by Gingerbread Timing, including a team finish time, planned splits between running and workout segments, and results posted online after the event. Whether you are preparing for an official HYROX race, trying the format for the first time, or looking for a challenging benchmark with a training partner, this event is designed to deliver a structured, high-energy race-day experience close to home. Teams of two will complete eight running segments and eight functional workout stations in the standard HYROX order. Both partners complete every run together. At each workout station, one athlete works at a time, and partners may divide the workload and switch based on their strengths and strategy. REGISTRATION Registration is $60 per athlete, plus the RunSignup processing fee. A separate registration and waiver agreement is required for each athlete. Both athletes may be registered and paid for in one transaction. Make sure both athletes select the same division and create or join the same two-person team. Athletes must be at least 16 years old on October 10, 2026. A parent or legal guardian must complete registration and the required waiver for athletes who are 16 or 17. Individual heat assignments and check-in instructions will be emailed after registration closes. Athletes should plan to arrive at least 60 minutes before their assigned heat. This simulation is independently organized by Waypoint Athletics and is not an official HYROX race. Results will be professionally timed and published online for this Waypoint event, but they do not count toward official HYROX rankings or qualification.

The Mighty Montour 4-Miler is a 4-mile out-and-back race along the Montour Preserve's Chilisuagi Trail near Washingtonville, PA. The well-maintained, mostly flat course features a mix of grass, gravel, and forest floor, making for a beautiful fall morning on the trail! In past years, the Mighty Montour has followed a complete loop around Lake Chillisquaque. Due to ongoing construction at the reservoir's spillway, this year's race will instead feature an out-and-back course along the Chilisuagi Trail. Proceeds from the race directly benefit the Bloomsburg Area YMCA's BAY Swim Team, so come enjoy a morning at the Preserve while supporting our local swimmers!

The Annual Ives Run Trail Challenge will take place on Saturday, October 10th at the Ives Run Recreation Area! This event is a 4 mile course of varying terrain. SCHEDULE: Check-in will be held from 8:30 AM - 9:30 AM. There will be a pre-race meeting at 9:45 AM. The 4-mile trail race will begin at 10:00 AM. REGISTRATION and FEES: Participants age 12 & under are FREE, but still must register and have a parent sign a waiver. Kids will receive a free shirt. Life Run

This will be a mostly flat course on the Five Star Trail. The race will begin at Lynch Field and go up the hill to the Five Star Trail. Registration is at Kallaugher Pavilion at Lynch Field. Westmoreland Christian Academy will host its 7th Annual Jordan Tomson Memorial 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, October 10, 2026, on the Five Star Trail beginning at Lynch Field in Greensburg. The race is in honor of our late principal, Mr. Jordan Tomson, who unexpectedly passed away on January 1, 2020. An avid runner and excellent educator, Principal Tomson dedicated much of his life to teaching, mentoring, and encouraging the students of Westmoreland Christian Academy. The Proceeds from this event will benefit the Jordan Tomson Memorial Scholarship Fund. Christian education was extremely important to Principal Tomson, and the funds from this scholarship are allocated to supplement the cost of tuition for families who desire their children to receive a quality Christian education but who are unable to pay the full amount. All money goes directly toward the education of local children in our community.
