Running for Children's Rights to Both Parents - 4 of 50 Half Marathons in 50 States - New Hampshire

Windham, NH
This is a virtual race open to supporters across the country who want to take action for children and families. Participants can run, walk, or move in their own community while supporting a national mission to protect children’s relationships with both parents. This race is part of a larger effort to run 50 half marathons in 50 states, completing one race each month. Each run is dedicated to raising awareness about parental alienation, family court practices that separate children from a loving parent, and the urgent need for children to have reasonable access to both parents. Parental alienation and unnecessary parent child separation cause long term emotional, psychological, and developmental harm. This run exists to bring visibility to that harm and to advocate for fair, child focused family court outcomes. This event is Run 4 of 50. The founder of Mothers and Fathers Truly Matter, Bob, will be running this race in New Hampshire while supporters participate virtually from anywhere.

Ryan’s Run: A 5K for Recovery & Hope

Concord, NH
Ryan’s Run: A 5K for Recovery & Hope We are honored to present Ryan’s Run, a community 5K dedicated to celebrating the life of Ryan McDermott, a loving father, son, brother, and friend. Ryan’s journey with substance use was long and difficult, but it never defined who he truly was. He was known for his kind heart, his adventurous spirit, and his deep love of music. Music was the soundtrack of his life, and he often shared it with those around him as a way of connecting, lifting spirits, and creating joy. Although his battle with substance use was painful, programs like those supported by the New Hampshire Coalition of Recovery Residences (NHCORR) gave him years of sobriety, stability, and happiness. Those were years filled with family, laughter, and memories that will be cherished forever. While we grieve the loss of Ryan, we also celebrate his legacy. He would be so proud and so happy to know that an event like this is happening in his honor, bringing people together to support re
