Welcome to The Workout Group!   Our goal for this community is to create a positive and safe environment for you to run your best.  Led by a team of RRCA-certified running coaches, The Workout Group meets on Tuesday and Thursday mornings and evenings from August through May.  Our Tuesday workouts include a variety of higher intensity intervals for building leg speed, while Thursday's workouts include stamina building sessions.  Tuesday & Thursday Evening Workouts:  St. Phillip's Plaza, 6 PMTuesday & Thursday Morning Workouts: Rillito Sports Fields, 5:30 AM We ask that you arrive at least 10-15 minutes early to get in some kind of warm-up activity before the workout.   Recommended gear: Water bottle: A hand-held to carry during the hotter runs, or bottle to stash in the car for before and after run hydration.Watch:  Some workouts are time based and some are paced based.  Either way, it's nice to keep track on a running watch.Head lamp:  Starting in September the days

The Pathway to 150k Challenge is a wellness activity in which you - the runner, walker or cyclist - log your daily or weekly miles and become eligible for prizes. You can encourage family and friends to join you in your pursuit of wellness while also promoting the success of Cochise College students. The activity is managed by the Cochise College Foundation. The foundation's vision is that Cochise College is accessible to all and affordable by our diverse and changing communities. Who We Are: Healthy Kids Running Series is a five (5) week running program in the spring and fall for kids Pre-K through 8th grade. Each HKRS Series takes place once a week and offers age-appropriate running events including the 50 & 75 yard dashes, the 1/4 mile, the 1/2 mile and the 1 mile run. Kids will earn points for each race they complete based on their finish. Pricing: The registration fee covers the entire five (5) weeks of the Series which includes race bibs for each week, a runner shirt, a finisher medal and any sponsor giveaways. Registration is non-refundable and non-transferrable. Online Early Bird registration ends three weeks prior to the first race event.  Challenger: This Series offers a Challenger Division which is an adaptive 75 yard race for children with disabilities and/or special needs. Join us for the Tucson Unified School District Virtual Spring Break 5k, an event encouraging active lifestyles among our staff, families, and friends. This event is virtual so you are welcome to complete the 3.1-mile run/walk anywhere/anytime between March 13 and 23. Proof must be submitted by March 25, 2026   Please note that there is not a designated location to complete your 5k (3.1 miles). You can complete it ANYWHERE you choose! Please join La Paz Unified Firefighters in our annual 5k, 10k, and 1-mile fun walk/run. March is the perfect time of the year in the beautiful desert terrain. This race will be a relatively flat course making it a fun opportunity for experienced runners trying to beat a record or a first-time participant that was forced to come from friends or family!  Event details and schedule  The race will start at the Quartzsite Community Center which is located near the southwest corner of the Town Park. Texas Canyon Trail Run The Amerind Museum presents the 13th Annual Texas Canyon Trail Run. Run competitively or walk the scenic 5K or 10K courses in this awe-inspiring region. Texas Canyon is marked by spectacular rock formations, including balancing boulders, and trails crisscrossing through open fields of yucca, ocotillo, a variety of cacti, and scattered trees that dot the terrain. Participation in the event enables Amerind to further its mission of fostering and promoting knowledge and understanding of the Native Peoples of the Americas through research, education, conservation, and community engagement.    Event Details and Schedule The race will be held entirely within Texas Canyon on the Amerind Museum property. Troop 99, based in Litchfield Park, was chartered by the Goodyear Aircraft Corp. in 1943.  Our Troop has been developing young boys into leaders in the community ever since.Currently, over 100 Scouts have earned the rank of Eagle Scout in our Troop.Our current Charted Organization is the Church at Litchfield Park.

The Southern Arizona Roadrunners is celebrating 50 years with a special edition of the Spring Cross Country Classic 5K in 2026—a free race for everyone! Set on the scenic rolling trails of Lincoln Regional Park, this retro-inspired event brings runners back to the sport’s grassroots: no shirts, no medals, just pure cross-country fun. Teams of three can compete for recognition, and throwback attire is highly encouraged to capture the 1970s running vibe. With vintage tunes, community spirit, and a joyful nod to SAR’s legacy, it’s a celebration of running, friendship, and 50 years of Tucson’s running community. FitKidz Running Club will meet at Himmel Park every Tuesday and Thursday from 5:00-6:00pm starting March 24th and ending April 16th, 2026 on Soccer Field 'A' (Soccer Field Closest to Himmel Library). The FitKidz Running Club is FREE and will promote and highlight improved skills over a 4-week period, focusing on progress over performance and enjoyment over competition. The kids will start out running intervals of 200 meters and grow the distance each week, culminating in a mile fun run. Each 60-minute session will start with a warm-up, followed by a running activity,  a running game, and ending with a short nutrition or other educational activity. Join us for the 5K to Feed the 5K—an exciting and meaningful Easter fun-run hosted by the Gavilan Peak Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints! This family-friendly event combines fitness, community spirit, and the joy of giving. Just as Christ used the miracle of the five loaves and two fish to feed the masses, we’re coming together to help feed those in need in our community. Runners will participate in a 5K fun run, with the goal of helping collect items for the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry, St. Rose Campus. The entry fee is just 10 pantry items per runner, so bring your donations and run with a purpose! For those who may not be ready for the 5K or prefer something family-friendly, we’re excited to offer a special Half-Mile Kids Run. Giddy-on-up to the Annual Wickenburg's Wild West Run! Cinch up your shoes, secure your hat, and come run (or walk!) through Arizona's most western town.     We have a new location for this 2026 the route is an out-and-back course beginning at Vulture City Ghost Town.  This will be a spooky run.  All runs will start the Vulture City Ghost Town.  You will have an opportunity to run through the Ghost Town.  All runs are out and back along Vulture Mine Rd. The route will have desert views with mountains views at the distance. The 2026 NCAA Women's Final Four Bounce is a free event that gives thousands of children, up to age 18, the chance to bounce in a parade-style format from Heritage Square to Tourney Town presented by Capital One at the Phoenix Convention Center. Participants will enjoy music and activities as they prepare to take to the street.
