The Wellington High School Track and Field team is once again hosting their 5k race and 1 mile Fun Run Fundraiser. This years theme: Heroes and Villains! Come on out, rain or shine (or snow!!), March 21st to the Wellington Dukes football stadium and support a great team of young athletes!  Be dressed to impress your favorite hero (real or make-believe) or their villainous counterparts!   Gates open at 8:00 am, 5k race starts at 9:00 am. The Toledo Mini Marathon is a scenic point-to-point half marathon starting in the uptown district of Maumee, Ohio, voted the best hometown in Ohio. Run through residential Historic Maumee homes, past the Toledo Country Club, the Toledo Zoo, and into downtown Toledo along the new Riverfront path. Sign up to participate in the 11th Annual 5K Run and 1 Mile Walk for Brain Injury Awareness presented by Ohio State's Chronic Brain Injury Program. This event is hosted by the undergraduate student organization Buckeyes Raising Awareness in Neuroscience (BRAIN). This event takes place at the RPAC North Plaza, near The Buckeye Bike Hub (337 Annie and John Glenn Ave). The annual Sexual Assault Awareness Month 5K and Dog Walk returns April 11th, 2026. The race begins and ends at the BGSU Student Recreation Center. The Merrimac Miracle Organization is pleased to host the 6th Annual London OH Marathon as a fundraiser for Merri-Mac Park. We are raising funds to further improve the park by adding play equipment, recreational paths, sports fields, etc. Format: The full and half marathon race events will start promptly at 7 am and the 5K at 7:15 am. Stasny Road Racing is resurrecting an event from Ashtabula County past! We are happy to announce the Stasny Road Racing 5K Prediction Race! How does a 5K Prediction race work? Simple! During the registration process, you will enter an estimated finish time. This will be your official guess! Your goal is to run a 5K and finish with a time (+/-) of your official estimated finishing time without any timing aids. Awards to the top 5 runners closest to their official estimated finishing time. Official Event Rules  You must enter your official prediction during registration in the "Estimated Finishing Time" section. The Hull Prairie Intermediate and Perrysburg Junior High Bands present our 13th annual "Band on the Run" 5K Run/Walk and Fun Run. This year will be a little different. We are going to be having a Glow Run! You do NOT want to miss this amazing event. Band on the Run is a 5K Run/Walk. Even if you are not a runner, you are encouraged to come and help support the HPI and PJHS Bands. Usually over 50% of the participants are walkers.  There will be pep bands that play along the route to keep you motivated. Where is Band on the Run? A race for beginners and ultra veterans alike, the unique Outrun 24 Hour Trail Race is held in the Lake Metroparks Chapin Forest Reservation in Kirtland, OH approximately 30 mins east of Cleveland, Ohio. Run, jog or walk to celebrate mom during this annual 5K from the Summit Metro Parks. The stroller-friendly course for this chip-timed race travels twice around the scenic Munroe Falls Lake. Race proceeds benefit the Summit Metro Parks Foundation.   Because the course overlays the park entrance/exit road, the park’s entrance gate will close at 7:50 a.m. and will be re-opened by park police after participants clear the second lap.   A choice of a race t-shirt or native tree sapling is included with each paid registration, including the 14 & under kids’ category, while supplies last.
