This is a family fun 5K (3.1 mile) walk/run and a one mile walk/run on a flat course with lots of entertainment for all to enjoy whether you are a serious runner or just want to have fun.   You choose if you want to walk/run the one mile or the 5K or if you want to take the Bahia Shrine Challenge and walk/run the one mile then the 5K.  Come join in on our event and enjoy entertainment from the Bahia Shrine parade units.  We have a fun 0.05k (164 feet) race that anyone can participate in.  The guest of honor is Sir Gus, Jr.*, our furry camel who will be awaiting your visits for photos, carrots and kisses.  The race goes on rain or shine, no back-up date.  In the event of a cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances, the race will switch to virtual, therefore you can still get your t-shirt and medal.
