The Mid-Atlantic Multisport Open Water Swim Series is a collection of open water training swims and skills & safety clinics spread throughout the spring and summer months. The training swims are designed for experienced triathletes and open water swimmers while the skills  & safety clinics are perfect for those new to open water swimming or anyone looking to become stronger and more efficient in an open water environment.  Season Passes entitle registrants to attend ALL of our 2024 training swims while Session Passes entitle registrants to attend ONE training swim session on a specific date.  Additional details on Season Passes and skills & safety clinics can be found on the event web site. We are celebrating the 29th annual Muskie 5k.  This longstanding event supports Jamestown Students for Charity Club, which helps many students in the Jamestown Area School District, using its funds to help those in our community in need.  The weeknight race runs through Pymatuning State Park in Jamestown, PA.  This unique course runs across the Pymatuning Dam,  offering picturesque views of the reservoir and park.  Handmade wooden muskie trophies will be given to the overall winners male and female and the top 3 finishers male and female in each age bracket. *New for this year!!!  1/2 mile kids race ($5 entry fee)

The Bournelyf 5k Run and 2k Walk is back in downtown West Chester.  Thank you to Bentley Systems for serving as our title sponsor again this year!  The race will take place on Thursday, May 7th, 2026 at 6:30 PM. Please join us for our annual walk, run, ride event at Knoebels Theme Park in Elysburg, PA. The run is a 5K that originates at pavilion "M" at the park and goes through the beautiful countryside. There are free refreshments and hot-dogs to follow as well as a quick ceremony to celebrate the winners! This race is a fundraiser for our local Pregnancy Care Center "Corner of Hope" and all proceeds go to help local moms and dads in need.

The Waverly Waddle is the Comm’s annual 5k Run/2 Mile Walk beginning and ending at the Waverly Community House. The “Waddle” travels an approximate 3-mile route through scenic Waverly. It takes place each year in May on the Saturday of Mother’s Day weekend. It is an official electronic chip-timed race with awards given out to top finishers in each age/sex division. Both the 5k and 25k courses span our cross-country trails, providing a beautiful and scenic run with varying levels of difficulty. Overnight lodging is available leading up to the event. This race was at one point called the sla anyway 5k which was started as a virtual race in 2021 by SLA alumni Ethan Chen, the AnyWay 5k was a way to help spread his passion for running with the SLA community. The Dawn To Dusk To Dawn Track Ultras are run on Academy Park’s Knight Track located at Academy Park High School, 300 Calcon Hook Road, Sharon Hill, PA, 19079.  It is a USATF certified 400M all purpose track (USATF cert # PA18001BW).  USATF 2026 Sanction is pending. Water, a sports drink, and snacks will be provided trackside.  Limited kitchen facility available at this time, so bring you own food.  We will have a menu later.  This is a CUPLESS RACE. In Memory of Lisa Napoletano Lisa Napoletano was a Freshman at Marian and a member of the Cross Country and Track and Field teams. Early March, she was involved in an unfortunate ATV accident and passed away from her injuries. The Marian Community, Cross Country Team, and Track and Field Team was blessed to know her and have her in our lives, even for such a short period of time. Part of this event is dedicated to her memory and the impact she had on her school and her teams. In order to honor her, her family has set up a scholarship fund and non-profit organization "Lisa Napoletano-Running with the Angels" honoring her memory that is awarded to a member of the Cross Country Team, Track and Field Team, or is active in Snowboarding and that display strong team spirit and values academics. This option allows you to donate towards the scholarship fund in her memory as she Runs with the Angels.

Race Purpose:            Benefiting the Peter Kienzle Fighting Back Scholarship Fund This is the 4th Annual STOGA Girls Lax 5K & 1 Mile Walk, hosted by the Conestoga Girls Lacrosse Program.  Our program’s goal is to give back to the community.  The STOGA Girls Lax 5K & 1 Mile Walk will raise money for the Peter Kienzle Fund of the Fighting Back Scholarship Program  This is an organization based in Malvern that assists individuals recovering from a life-changing illness or injury, and who are without the finances needed to participate in a rehabilitative exercise program.  We have raised over $75,000 for the Fighting Back Scholarship Program over the past three years. We are all ready to get outside to start training for the summer race season. Part of that is starting our open water swim program.  If you want any coaching at these clinics, please contact us so we can make arrangements to have a coach work with you.  Watch for our clinic nights where you can learn from our coaches in a small group setting.  All swims are monitored open water swims with swim buoys, lifeguards, kayakers to watch swimmers and help them become better in open water swims for their upcoming races. 1-2 Lifeguards certified in open water swimming present at each event. These lifeguards are open water swim certified. Additional kayakers on the water each Monday night and weekend clinic to patrol for safety. We are always looking for volunteers to kayak for these. We do trade kayaking for free swimming! Swimmers must be a USAT Member or purchase a 1 day membership for the swims and clinics. This is our insurance and is required. ABOUT BRAD SCHOENER Brad Schoener was a music director in the Upper Darby School District for 25 years. He lost a courageous battle to leiomyosarcoma cancer in 2009, but not before having an incredibly positive impact on the lives of countless students, colleagues, and friends. Brad was loved wherever he went and helped mold the future paths of thousands of children through his passion for music and his ability to bring out that passion in his students.    THE BRAD SCHOENER FUND Proceeds from the 5K Run support the Brad Schoener Memorial Music Fund and its MusicMan Academy programs. The mission of Brad's Fund is to support the musical abilities and aspirations of instrumental music students in the Upper Darby School District through the funding of instruments, instruction, and experiences for interested and talented students who might not otherwise have the opportunities due to personal circumstances. Brad's Fund is supported by the Upper Darby Arts & Education Foundation.
