Sankalpa, in collaboration with Plainsboro Township, is organizing the annual 5K Run/2K Walk for the fourth year. This is a super secret, FREE, timed 'FATASS' 5k, which is essentially a fun, organized group run without all the bells and whistles of a typical race. Once the field limit is reached, additional runners will go on a waiting list and be added randomly.   Although though the Uptown Gentlefriends covers all expenses, this event relies heavily on runner donations to enhance the experience. On June 6th, our community comes together not just to run or walk, but to remember. The Westlake Veterans Club invites you to honor the courage, sacrifice, and unity shown on D‑Day by joining us for a military‑themed 5K run and 2K walk.  And will have designated sections named after the 5 landing sites- Omaha, Utah, Gold, Juno and Sword. Both the 5K and 2K courses are on the beautiful, flat roadways surrounding the golf course with the start and finish lines at the world class clubhouse!  Proceeds will enable the continuing philanthropic donations the Westlake Veterans Club provides to veteran and community causes in the Greater Ocean County area. RVRR’s ‘Train’ing Run is a non-competitive Group Run held to celebrate National Trails Dayand benefits the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey. The North Jersey Pride Run is a 5K and Kids Race in South Orange, NJ that brings our community together and raises funds for North Jersey Pride, Inc. The American Cancer Society is the only organization in the world to be able to shut down the world’s busiest bridge to host this one-of-a-kind bucket list race. With 5k and 10k walk or run options, the sights of this run are breathtaking, and you'll be making your miles more meaningful with funds being donated to the American Cancer Society!

Join Community Hope for our 25th Annual Veterans Flag day 5K and 1 Mile walk to be held onThursday, June 11th, 2026 (rain date June 18th) at 7:00 p.m. (check-in begins 5:30pm) Community Hope is New Jersey’s largest non-profit providing housing and support services tomilitary members, homeless veterans, veteran families and adults with mental illness. Our Veterans Flag Day 5K and 1mile walk is one of our largest fundraisers of the year and allproceeds go directly to the veterans in our Hope for Veterans Program. This leg is another ride through  scenic bike ride through Southern New Jersey    The ride will start and end at Glasstown Brewing .  The route is full of bay views and farm country.  After the ride join us at the brewery for your complimentary beer and some post ride fun.  This will be a semi supported ride.  We will have a marked route with signs and arrows to direct you.  The route will also be available for you to download.  We will also have several aide stations on course.  Limited SAG support will also be available. *New For 2025* We are excited to announce that we will have Gradient Bike Shop on site. There will be 0.5 mile, 1 mile, and 2 mile races that will all be on the half mile triathlon course swim loop. Check in will begin at 5:30am for the 0.5 and 1 mile races.  Check in will start at 6:45 for the 2 mile swim.Location: The Indian Trail Club in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey Wetsuits Encouraged! HOW REGISTRATION WORKS The event is comprised of 24, 1-hour games in a row and is open to men's and women's teams of all ages and abilities. Every team that registers plays in at least one, 1-hour game and will be matched with an opposing team of similar age and abilities If you register as a dual-slot, your team will have the entire hour with no opposing team schedule, and choose how you wish to play for that hour.
