Katz JCC POWR 5K/1 Mile Walk for Parkinson's

Come support the Parkinson's Connection at the Cherry Hill Katz JCC by joining the POWR 5K/1 Mile Walk. The 5K run will take place on our picturesque, USATF-certified course through a local Cherry Hill neighborhood. Whether you are a seasoned runner or simply want to walk for a great cause, this is a race you don’t want to miss! Since 2018, the Parkinson’s Connection at the Katz JCC has offered fitness classes and support groups for people with Parkinson's Disease as well as their caregivers and families. The hope was to build a program that was as accessible as possible.  o   Accessible financially with free as well as paid class offerings. o   Accessible physically with class options offered virtually over Zoom as well as in-person at the Katz JCC. o   Accessible functionally with classes offered at a wide variety of levels, seated or standing (or a little bit of both) so that those at nearly any level of Parkinson’s can participate.  o   And most importantly, accessible EVER
