We are pleased to announce our 13th annual LECOM 5K as a healthful event that enables you to walk or run either our 3.1-mile course or one-mile course. For those of you who are new or unfamiliar, the Maniac Magee is an annual two-mile race (one-mile walk) for the entire Chatham Park community. As with tradition, all of the proceeds from the event will be donated to the End Hunger and Well- Rooted.  This 2-mile run / 1-mile walk through the Chatham Park neighborhood is a great race for new runners and for families looking to walk or run together for a great cause. The Office 5K is a road race in Scranton, PA that passes sites featured on NBC’s “The Office.” Participants can dress up as their favorite Office character for fun and prizes. Walkers can enjoy a modified 1 mile course with special activities along the way. The race begins at 1pm on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at 523 Linden Street in Scranton, in front of Backyard Ale House. Participants can pick up their race bibs, tee shirts, and race info at Cooper’s Seafood House (701 N. Washington Avenue) on May 1 from 5-7pm. (These items are also available day of the race.) We are family and pet friendly 5K at Saylor Park, Coplay PA. The Rotary Club of Somerset will host its Fifth Annual Walk-Run-Ride Event on Saturday, May 2, 2026, along the Great Allegheny Passage in Rockwood (Mile 43.8). Participants can choose from a 5K Walk, 5K Run, 10K Run, or 24-mile bike ride while supporting local community projects. The race will begin at 9am and there will be a separate start for each the ride, run, and walk. The race will be out and back style with turn around markers along the trail including support teams. New for 2026, businesses are encouraged to register Workplace Teams, with the top three teams earning the chance to direct a portion of event proceeds to a Somerset County nonprofit of their choice ($300 for first place, $200 for second, and $100 for third). Join Greenlight Operation for our annual 5K on City Island in Harrisburg to support survivors of human trafficking! Our mission is to end and prevent child abuse and neglect in Montgomery County through legal services, advocacy, and education. We’re thrilled to announce our third annual MCAP Heroes on the Run 5K and 1-Mile Fun Walk, taking place at Norristown Farm Park on Saturday, May 2, 2026. We’re expecting more than 200 runners and walkers for this family-friendly event, which will feature breakfast, face painting, giveaway music, and more! For the past 22 years, MCAP has been a lifeline for more than 11,600 children impacted by abuse, neglect, and trafficking maintaining a 100% acceptance rate so that every child referred to us receives representation. Join us for an Amputee Running & Intro to Mobility Clinic at Messiah University in Mechanicsburg on Sunday, March 8th from 9:00 AM–12:00 PM, presented by Ability Ottobock.care Prosthetics and Orthotics. This welcoming, hands-on clinic is designed for individuals with limb loss who are curious about running, building confidence in the gym, and improving everyday mobility. No prior running or fitness experience required. The 13.1-mile half marathon course starts at 8:00 am featuring rolling hills and the beautiful Enola Low Grade Rail Trail. Half Marathon finishers will receive a commemorative medal.  The 10K/5K run/walk will have a cannon start at 9:00am/9:05am. A free kids fun run will occur at 9:45am. Refreshments and inflatables will be on hand to round out our family fun morning.

Welcome to the Fast & Furious 5K swim, presented by French Creek Racing!  New this year: 1.5 mile and 1K options. All swims will start at 1400 S. Trooper Rd., Norristown, PA.  Swimmers must provide their own transportation (or walk/run) back to the starting area.  Transportation can be provided for an additional fee.  All swims will pass through the narrow straits of the locally legendary Catfish Dam.  All swimmers MUST either have their own kayaker, OR wear a New Wave Swim Buoy.  Swimmers may drop 1 (one) small bag at the starting line with their own clothing, towels, hydration, and snacks.  It is recommended to drop warm clothing as needed. Students Run Philly Style is proud to participate in the Independence Blue Cross Broad Street Run as a charity partner.  When you join Team SRPS, you are not only securing your place on the starting line, you are supporting free, youth-centered mentorship programming for young people across Philadelphia. SRPS engages youth in grades 6–12 through long-distance running. Running is the vehicle. Mentorship is the foundation. With the guidance of a trained Running Leader, students build confidence, discipline, and healthy habits while training for races from 10-mile, half marathon and full marathon distances. The Hope For Hallie Color Run/Walk will feature an opportunity to participate in 3 separate races. A 1 mile run/walk, 100 meter dash, and a relay race. Registration will cover entry to all 3 events. The Independence Blue Cross Broad Street Run is being held on Sunday, May 3, 2026 at 7:00 a.m.  The race starts at Broad Street & Somerville Avenue running through varied neighborhoods of the City Of Philadelphia.  The races finishes  in the Navy Yard.

Sunday, May 3, 2026     Whether you are aiming for a Boston Qualifying time or are running your first long distance race, the York Marathon and Half Marathon is a fast-paced chip-timed event hosted by the Arthur J. Glatfelter Branch YMCA.     The race begins at the Arthur J. Glatfelter Branch YMCA, 90 N. Newberry St, York, PA 17401 and ends at Lafayette Plaza in the heart of the City of York. The flat course begins on city streets and transitions to the York County Heritage Rail Trail for the remainder of the race. You're invited for a 5K Run/Walk on the campus of Mercyhurst University on Sunday, May 3, 2026. All are invited, Mercyhurst community, alumni, and new friends to Mercyhurst - enjoy the exciting route through our beautiful campus! Guests who complete registration by March 31 will receive a race t-shirt. Pre-check-in will take place on Saturday, May 2 from 12-1 p.m. in the Old Main foyer. Packet and bib pick up will be at the race finish located at the Lock Haven VFW 1110 East Water Street, Lock Haven, PA 17745 starting at 7 am. Busing will be available to the start with the last bus departing at 8:20 am on race day. Bikes will not be transported to the start. Early bib and swag pick up will be available at Haywood’s at the Clinton County Club, Mill Hall, Pa from 2-4 pm on Saturday, May 2nd. The 5th annual Collins/Toboz Bridge to Bridge is a 10K run, 5K run/walk and a 10K bike ride to honor two local hero’s, David Collins and Stephen (Turbo) Toboz. The event will start at 9:00 am at the David Collins Memorial Bridge in Mill Hall, PA and will finish at the Stephen Toboz Bridge in Lock Haven, PA. Packet and bib pick up will begin at 7:00am. 1st place male and female winners of the 10K run will receive an award. All finishers participating will receive a finisher award. Please join the Bucks County Roadrunners on a chartered bus to the Broad Street Run. Save yourself the stress of finding a way to get there - our bus will drop you at the starting line AND you can leave your belongings on the bus as it will stay for the duration of the race and the tailgating after. Friends of BCRR members welcome too! Due to the new earlier, 7:00 AM, start time, departure time will be approximately 4:45:00 am. Who We Are: Healthy Kids Running Series is a five (5) week running program in the spring and fall for kids Pre-K through 8th grade. Each HKRS Series takes place once a week and offers age-appropriate running events including the 50 & 75 yard dashes, the 1/4 mile, the 1/2 mile and the 1 mile run. Kids will earn points for each race they complete based on their finish. Pricing: The registration fee covers the entire five (5) weeks of the Series which includes race bibs for each week, a runner shirt, a finisher medal and any sponsor giveaways. French Creek Racing presents the first race of our series of 6 open water swimming races throughout the summer.   You MUST be registered for the FULL SERIES to be eligible for series points and awards.   2026 race dates are: 5/5, 6/2, 6/23, 7/21, 8/4, and 8/25.  (Click on dates to register individually for each race.)   Each race will be scheduled on Tuesday afternoon/evening with Thursday as a rain date.  For all dates, we are offering both a 800m and 1600m series option.   Race address: 1400 S. 2026 Race Dates: May 6, June 3, July 1, August 5 & September 2 This is a free 5k race series which includes 5 races held on the first Wednesday of each month from May through September. You do not need to be an LVRR club member to participate in this series. Sign up online and come out to Lehigh Parkway for this relaxed, no-frills race. The course is accurately measured, mostly flat, cinder trail in the Parkway.  Due to scheduled repairs to Bogarts Bridge, the course will be modified in 2025   Map   Race Day Check-In: Begins at 5:30 PM - All runners must check in.
