Just a Pair of Shoes Run/Walk 5K to Empower Kids

Come join us on Saturday, May 9th 2026 for Just a Pair of Shoes' 4th Annual 5K run or walk to spread awareness and raise money for kids in the Dayton area.  Runner check in and day-of registration will begin at 9:30AM and conclude at 10:45AM. The check-in will be inside Southern Ohio Brewery. 100% of race proceeds will impact kids in the local area. The course is on the Beavercreek bike path. Top male and female runners will receive a custom one of a kind trophy in each age group. This race takes place on a combination of paved road surfaces and a beautiful, partially-wooded looped trail on the OhioHealth McConnell Heart Health Center property. Our 2026 Spring 5k, which will be held at in downtown Rossford, OH on May 9th. It is the culmination of our Girls on the Run of Northwest Ohio Spring season. Craig Bailey Memorial 5k Race and 1 Mile Fun Run

You are invited to join Buckeye students, families, businesses, and community members for a family-focused event that includes a 5k race and 1-mile fun run or walk on Saturday, May 9th, at the Buckeye Track and Soccer Complex located behind the elementary buildings at Buckeye Local Schools, 3044 Columbia Road in Medina. Check-in at the registration table starts at 8:30 AM. The race begins at 9:30 AM followed by the 1 mile fun run or walk. This event will take place in rain or shine. The crew at Wolf Pack Adventures is excited to bring you this unique event along the beautiful Little Miami River. Run as many 5K loops as you can in 6 hours at John Bryan State Park! Complete at least four loops to officially complete the race. You do not need to run for 6 hours. You can run for as long as it takes you to run four loops. Your official race time will be recorded as the time you complete your fourth loop. Results will be recorded as the total number of loops each participant runs in 6 hours. Whoever runs the most loops in 6 hours is the 6 Hours of Power champion. Coffman YMCA Sprint Triathlon

Join the Coffman YMCA and Milano’s as they host the Coffman YMCA Sprint Triathlon with a portion of the proceeds going to benefit Annual Campaign. This race is great for the novice but also challenging enough for the more seasoned triathlete. The triathlon will begin and end at the Coffman Y.    Course Description Start with a 300 yd swim that will take place in the pool.  It will be a serpentine swim. Swimmers will enter pool with chip timer on ankle. Transition will be through the back of pool area to the back of the Y where the Bike Racks will be located.   Bike is an out and back loop through Settler's Walk neighborhood and on Lytle Five Points to the turn-around at Lytle Five Elementary School.  The bike course is two loops.   Finish with an out-and-back 3.1-mile run through out Settler’s Walk. Summit Metro Parks Mother's Day 5K

Run, jog or walk to celebrate mom during this annual 5K from the Summit Metro Parks. The stroller-friendly course for this chip-timed race travels twice around the scenic Munroe Falls Lake. Race proceeds benefit the Summit Metro Parks Foundation.   Because the course overlays the park entrance/exit road, the park’s entrance gate will close at 7:50 a.m. and will be re-opened by park police after participants clear the second lap.   A choice of a race t-shirt or native tree sapling is included with each paid registration, including the 14 & under kids’ category, while supplies last. The Fallen 15 will host a Live In Person 4-Miler and Virtual 4-Miler. This year's course will be starting at Adventure Park in Powell and wind its way north through the awesome Powell trail system up to Liberty Park area and then back.   FORMAT: Live and IN PERSON on May 16th Starting at 9:00 am.    VIRTUAL OPTION: We will also have a Virtual Option (like last year).
