All proceeds from the race will benefit The Lance Purschke Memorial Scholarship Fund. Join us for the 10th Annual Piggyback Dash. Enjoy a beautiful, rolling course through the streets of Union with a challenging but rewarding finish at the top of Autumn Hill. The 10K and the 5K runners will start at the same time. The 5K is a single loop course. As the 5K runners make the last turn onto Autumn Hill Drive the 10K runners will continue straight and proceed to run an additional 3 miles through Union. Aid stations will be provided along the 5K and 10K routes. Post race refreshments will also be provided. The 10K and 5K (ish) are chip timed events and medals will be awarded. The 2K (1.2 mile) fun run/walk will not be officially timed and no medals will be provided. As an added twist, once runners reach the bottom of Autumn Hill they have the opportunity to carry someone piggyback up the hill to the finish line. This is completely voluntary. The Second Annual Backyard Ultra marathon in New Town, Missouri will be held October 10th, 2026. Event registration will start at 7:00 AM, and the race will begin at 8:00 AM. The event will consist of a 4.17 mile loop and runners will have up until the next hour to be back in time to start the next loop. Registration for the event is $25 to cover costs, but to run each loop you must put a dollar into a race jar. The winner of this last person standing race will receive half of the jar, while the other half will be donated to MSMDS charity. The Christina Bohn Memorial 5K for PMDD Awareness is a timed run, or it can be walked at your leisure. It is hosted by the Christina Bohn Foundation. The Christina Bohn Foundation is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to raising awareness of and supporting those with Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD) and Premenstrual Exacerbation (PME).  This is the third annual Christina Bohn Memorial 5K for PMDD Awareness. We are celebrating the third anniversary of Missouri's PMDD Awareness Day, which is on Christina's birthday, October 2. On November 3, 2021, Christina died by suicide. Naked-Snap Dragon style race. This is an 18 and up event. We will run .86 mile laps around Sunset Mountain on the Snap Dragon trail starting at 1pm and the last person to finish each lap will be out. We will run until there is only 1 person left or at 4pm if the race is still going we will have a race off to determine the top three male and female finishers. Each lap will be limited to 12 minutes and this years race is 180 minutes long with an additional race-off lap. You may expect to run a half marathon if you are one of the top competitors! Not only the last person to complete each lap will be out but also anyone who can't make it back in 12 minutes. Every 12 minutes a new lap will start with the remaining contestants.  Just for reference this is an extremely aggressive running trail. Oktoberfest at Lake of the Ozarks is back with a .5k and a 5k. Yes, you read that right.  In addition to a traditional 5k, we have a one-half K (roughly .31 miles for you non-runners). Starting and finishing at the Sanctuary Brewery in Osage Beach, this will be the 5k of the year! 5K 5k registration is $40 and includes a shirt, a piece of swag, and a coupon for a free beer at The Sanctuary!  There will be an aid station at the turnaround. .5k .5k registration is $15. This year's Brew to Boo is going to be a slight adjustment compared to previous years. Rather than running nearly a marathon from South Kansas City to North Kansas City, we're going to stay near the Kansas City Downtown and there will be two participation options as well! The first option is a Pub Crawl in the Crossroads. We'll start at Torn Label and make our way west from brewery to brewery until we end up at Casual Animal. By utilizing this format, my hope is to keep a good size group together and make it much easier for people to join up later in the day if need be. The second option is the actual running portion of Brew to Boo. While the Pub Crawl is happening, runners will shoot off to another brewery outside of the Crossroads, grab a drink, and run back. There are 5 legs to this including Boulevard, Strange Days, Alma Mader, Stockyard, and Vine Street. Total miles on this is about 16.5 miles so, while I'm encouraging team relays, an individual could complete the

Please join us for our 5th annual Race to Cure Sarcoma. This community event will feature a 5 K run/walk, a 1-mile kids' race, a 1-mile walk, awards, a DJ, Chris Cakes' pancake breakfast, adult & kids' beverages, and a raffle. This year our Walk for the Homeless is returning to an in-person walk in downtown Saint Joseph on Friday, November 7 th! This event helps to raise awareness of homelessness in St. Joseph, Missouri. The walk helps raise funds for the homeless community in St. Joseph to help obtain I.D. cards, birth certificates, and transportation. The event will begin at the Downtown Health Center (Northwest Health Services) at 503 S. 6th Street. The Equalizer Groad Gravel Race rolls out in 2026, Saturday morning, November 7th, from Marthasville Mo!   The Equalizer is many things! Its the regular and awesome 50k or 100k Equalizer, its also the Finalie Event to the SHO ME MO' GRVL SERIES, and its The Missouri State Championship race for gravel.  This is a must do race for 2026!  Free onsite camping in Wessel Park and the KT Caboose Friday and Saturday night.⛺ Showers and bathrooms available across the street at the Ballfields and at the KT Caboose.🚿 😍 The 50K sees some new gravel and roads this year and will join the 100k through the full classic Equalizer loop through Warrenton and all of the most awesome and refreshing creek crossings from last year. The Saint Louis Half Marathon and 5K returns for its 47th year on Sunday, November 8, 2026. ​First run in 1980, this event holds the title of the longest-running half marathon in the St. Louis region, offering runners a classic road race experience through the historic and scenic setting of Forest Park.  THE COURSE Both the Half Marathon and the 5K start and finish at the Muny Festival Grounds.
