This unique race will take place completely within the Grafton Correctional secure perimeter. We will run a 3/4 mile loop for either a 5k or half marathon. We will be running with residents that are part of the Running2bwell training program that recently started at GCI and all proceeds will support Running2bwell. We recently bought $5000 worth of shoes for the men at GCI and we're hoping to raise that amount at the race. Runners will receive a custom t-shirt (sizes not guaranteed). Most importantly, you'll have the chance to run some miles with men that are working hard to improve their lives on their home court. Female runners are allowed but there is a strict dress code. Shirts must have sleeves, shorts must go mid-thigh, sweats should be worn to enter but can be taken off when running. No tight or form-fitting apparel. More rules may follow as I get them. The Gahanna American Legion Post 797 “Walk In Our Boots” Walk/Run fund raising event was first established in 2023 with the inaugural event held at Gahanna Veterans Memorial Park at Creekside. This event is a fundraiser to support once homeless local veterans so they become re-acclimated to a more normal, self-sustaining life with the help of our community. The Redbud Trail Challenge is a grueling Trail Hike/Run to benefit Ohio Wilderness Boys Camp (OWBC). Bring the whole family to participate and choose between a 5K or 10K trail course. It will take place on OWBC’s rugged 600 acre forested property located in the hills of Southeast Ohio. The Redbud Trail Challenge will do just that: challenge your will, mind, and body just to finish this course. But it will be worth every bit of energy and will-power you spend. The trail will go through 2 primitive campsites (the 5K will go through 1 campsite) which the boys built and where they reside. A few more unique features are crossing the 68′ span “Nehemiah” suspension bridge (which the boys built), the beautiful springtime forest lush with Redbud and Dogwood blossoms, and huge boulders along the trail. Support Team Phillip by joining us for the 2026 Team Phillip's 5K, Fun Run and Jedi Dash in Three Creeks Metro Park in Groveport,OH. Come see some of your favorite Star Wars characters and enjoy carnival games and refreshments. Star Wars costumes are absolutely encouraged; there is even a contest!   Team Phillip has accomplished a great deal since our inception 4 years ago. The Hull Prairie Intermediate and Perrysburg Junior High Bands present our 13th annual "Band on the Run" 5K Run/Walk and Fun Run. This year will be a little different. We are going to be having a Glow Run! You do NOT want to miss this amazing event. Band on the Run is a 5K Run/Walk. Even if you are not a runner, you are encouraged to come and help support the HPI and PJHS Bands. The annual 5K run/1 mile walk benefits Stop the Suffering, a 501 (c)(3) based in Columbus, Ohio that saves animals from shelters and other situations in which their lives might be at risk. STS adopts out about 500 dogs a year, transports around 4,000 cats and dogs from rural shelters and puppy mills, to rescue organizations. STS also sponsors the vet care, boarding expenses and other costs when needed to help save an animal's life. Additionally, STS has a program that helps with many local municipalities spay and neuter programs in order to help control the pet population.   This is a rain or shine event. In the instance of severe weather it would be up to the race director to call it for the safety of all participants, volunteers, and vendors.

Strength Meets Speed for a Cause! Urban Outreach NKY/Cincinnati is back with the PUMP N’ RUN—the ultimate test of power and pace. We’re not just hitting the pavement; we’re raising the funds needed to install a commercial AC system at our Covington gym, where those who are under-resourced, can still work out. How does it work? Who We Are: Healthy Kids Running Series is a five (5) week running program in the spring and fall for kids Pre-K through 8th grade. Each HKRS Series takes place once a week and offers age appropriate running events including the 50 & 75 yard dashes, the 1/4 mile, the 1/2 mile and the 1 mile run. Kids will earn points for each race they complete based on their finish.
