The Armed Forces Endurance Run (AFER) is a fixed time endurance run to honor all of our active duty service members and veterans. This event was created to honor our active duty military members as well as our veterans. Therefore, each year a different branch of the service is honored and the race swag will reflect that branch. This year we are honoring the Coast Guard. In the spirit of supporting our active duty military members and veterans, a portion of the profits from the event are donated to veteran charities. We are pleased to announce the proceeds will go to FW22, a local Northeast Indiana charity that supports local veterans who experience mental health, suicidal, or substance use issues. Location The race is held at Bixler Lake Park in Kendallville, IN which is just north of Fort Wayne. Bixler Lake Park completely surrounds the 117-acre Bixler Lake. The natural beauty of the area has been combined with development of facilities for the enjoyment of all ages and interests. A pedestrian walkway and nature trail of over three miles circles the lake through the wetland nature area, and it runs by two beaches and landscaped woodlands. Race Format Runners and walkers will choose to participate in the 6 hour race, 12 hour race or the 24 hour race. Run/walk as much or as little as you want in your chosen time limit. The course for the race will take place on the 3 mile walkway which will consist of part asphalt and part true trails. The loop has indoor restroom facilities on both sides of the lake as well. There is parking right near the course as well and runners can choose to work out of their cars if they wish to. We also have a relay option. Gather up three of your running friends and create a team to participate in our 24 hour event. Every runner will receive a unique finishers' medal and an additional special award that will be customized to reflect the mileage they achieved. There are awards for the top male/female finishers (those with the most miles) in each of the events as well as for the top relay team. Camping There is free camping on a first come first serve basis in the grassy areas surrounding the main aid station and start/finish area. There are also camping sites, for a small fee, across from the start/finish area if you need electric hookup or prefer to sleep away from the main aid station. . Costs for camping and how to reserve spots with the park become available after the first of the year. Please watch our Facebook page for announcements. Aid Station Runners will be supported with one of the best aid stations you have ever seen! We take pride in helping all of our runners achieve their goals and our team is here to help you! Your race director and her volunteers are all experienced runners and ultra runners. There is space within the pavilion for runners to leave drop bags if they wish to. You pass the aid station as you complete every loop. In addition, there is a self serve waters and electrolyte station on the opposite side of the course as well. Packet pickup will be Friday 4:30pm to 6:30pm EST and race morning from 6:30am to 7:15am at the Lions Pavilion within the park. This serves as the main aid station and start finish area. All participants will receive a race week email with a detailed participant booklet.

This 100km trail race will prove that there’s more than just corn in Indiana! Situated in Indiana’s beautiful Morgan Monroe State Forest, this evening-start event will have plenty to offer throughout the night with its old growth forests, natural rock formations, lakes, and creeks. Oh, and did we mention the hills? With about 8,500 feet of climbing—yes, over 8.5k of climbing!—in addition to southern Indiana’s typical summertime heat and humidity, this race is tougher than you’d think. Comprised of 85% single track, 11% forest service road, and 4% paved road (but with a generous cutoff time of 20 hours), we assure you that you won’t be disappointed. For those less adventurous trail nuts we offer up our “fun run”.  If you aren’t quite up for the full 100km we have a 20 mile loop for you to “enjoy”.  This run will start Saturday June  6 at 8:30am. You will have a SUPER generous 6 hours and 30 minutes to complete one loop. This is the  same loop as the 100k folks with the same unbelievable

The 13th Annual Spring Cycle event will feature a variety of tour distances so people of all ages and skill levels can participate! Tour distances include an 6-mile family ride, short, medium and long distances, and a Metric Century 100K. All tour routes will go southwest (the Metric Century 100K course will go into Huntington!).   The Spring Cycle is the perfect event for casual family rides and serious cyclists alike! The 2026 Run Into the Summer 5K Run/Walk will take place at Monroe Central Jr.-Sr. High School on the Cross Country Course on May 30, 2026 beginning at 9:00AM. It will be all on grass, with the finish on the HS Track. There were 309 registered participants in 2025! All funds are being raised for the Monroe Central Athletic Training Program. These funds will help continue the Monroe Central Athletic Training Scholarship (2 @ $500), and buy new rehab and recovery equipment for the Athletic Training Program. The annual running of the Erin's Purpose 5k.  Erin’s Purpose was founded in June 2018 by Terri Neighbors after her daughter, Erin, took her life at the age of 13.  In August 2020, a house was purchased in Bloomfield where the following services are offered:- Christian Counseling- Teen bible studies- A place for teen gatherings or small groups to meet- Public speaking in schools and other organizations about mental health and suicide prevention.  Awards will be given out for female and male age groups of all ages.  Competitive walk awards will be given to overall male and female winner.  All participants of the kids race will receive an award.  There will also be giveaways at the event.

The Plymouth Runway Mile and 5K are held at Plymouth Municipal Airport as a fundraising effort for AlphaFlight, a locally owned flight school that is based out of Plymouth.  Flight training is a costly endeavor and is often the largest hurdle that students must manage in order to pursue their dreams of becoming a pilot. All proceeds from Plymouth Runway will support scholarship opportunities for students through AlphaFlight. Both the Runway Mile and Runway 5K are competitive races with chip timing and overall/age group awards. Strollers are welcomed. Any child completing the course under their own power will need to be registered. If a child is being pushed in a stroller, that child does not need registered for the event. Indiana Sports Corp's Corporate Challenge is a great way for your employees to experience team building and camaraderie while participating in several different events. The 2027 Indiana Sports Corp Corporate Challenge is a competition for Indiana companies and their employees. Friends and family members of competing employees can take part in the 5K and 10K races. Those friends and family members who wish to have their race officially timed can register for an event bib and timing chip for $10. The 10K and 5K race will take place at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Friday, June 25th and Saturday, June 26th. Non-affiliated runners and walkers will not score points for any Corporate Challenge teams. Participants will have access to post race refreshment. Join us for the Fort4Fitness Summer Sunrise Relay! Sign up your team (or as an individual) to run as many one-mile laps as possible during the four-hour time frame. The 2026 event location is the MedPro Group campus on Reed Road in Fort Wayne. Tents, coolers and other supplies to keep you going are encouraged! You can look forward to activities around the course, free water stations and live entertainment throughout the day. Participants receive an event tank top (or visor) and medal. Those participating on a team should designate a "captain" who can create a unique team name and password to be shared with other team members when registering. This event will be held rain or shine. The most unique race in Southern Indiana! As underground temperatures year-round are 54 degrees, this will undoubtedly be the coolest July race around. The course will start at the Boys & Girls Club of Crawford County, on S 2nd street, proceeding down SR 64 passing Marengo Cave and through downtown Marengo. At the 1 mile point, participants enter the underground Marengo Warehouse, for a cave-like experience, doubling back to finish just across the railroad tracks in downtown Marengo. Features include the underground, rolling hills, and scenic small town Indiana charm. By far the coolest both in temperature and in novelty. The underground warehouse features several back and forth hairpin turns eventually leading down a corridor of offroad-like but smooth terrain. The entry point is shortly after the 1 mile interval where the indoor portion is right at 2 miles in total. Inside you will find good lighting, good temperature, and fast and flat terrain. A destination race that will offer major relief from the hot summer and a scene like none other.

If participants are just doing one race it has to be the 8:00 a.m. race.  Races must be finished in 1 hour to allow for the start of the next race.  Course is on a beautiful wide, smooth, paved trail through two parks and crosses a historical bridge!  Indoor restrooms and a fun, free splash pad and playground for the kiddos located right next to the start/finish.   Everyone who finishes the first race races receives a custom MELT DOWN medal.  Fun HOT, summer themed t-shirts!  Awards for top three male/female and top 3 in age groups in the FIRST race only.  Also award for the top male and female best COMBINED times of all three races.

The Night Raid 5K & Fun Run brings together runners of all ages for a unique nighttime race experience that combines community, challenge, and high-energy atmosphere. The night kicks off with the Fun Run, an 800-meter race on the track starting at 8:30 PM. 45th Annual Country Run over the scenic rolling hills of Yorkville. Dearborn County's oldest road race! Out and back 5k course (3.1 miles) over asphalt road from St. Martin's Church with some small hills. Split times will be given at each mile. Modern restroom facilities will be available in the parish hall before and after the race. Water will be available at the start finish line and during the race. Stick around for a delicious fried chicken dinner! Signs mark the kilometers and miles.

The Huntertown Heritage Days Festival was established in 1999 and will take place this year from Thursday, July 30th to Sunday, August 2nd. This race helps support the Huntertown Heritage Days Festival and all the events the community has come to know and love. 8th Annual Megan's Ride and Walk 2026                                                                                                                                         A bicycle ride and walk benefiting Morning Dove Therapeutic Riding Center The purpose of Megan's Ride and Walk is to bring together bike enthusiasts and families for a fun morning of bike riding and walking to celebrate and remember Megan Stancliffe.  Megan was a young woman who endured many physical challenges with grace throughout her short life. About Megan's Ride This year we are offering marked routes for a 20 and 50 mile bike ride and a route for a 5k walk.  The event is moving to Westfield this year and it will be starting from Grand Junction Brewery.   All fees and donations from the event will benefit Morning Dove Therapeutic Riding Center.  All participants who register before July 10, 2026 will receive a free t-shirt.

The 11th Annual Rock the Quarry Triathlon and Mile Swim scheduled for Saturday, August 8, 2026 at the beautiful Fidler Pond Park located in Goshen, Indiana. Formerly a rock quarry, the pond will be open to the public for this sprint triathlon and mile swim, which is the only day of the year people are permitted to swim in the quarry. The quarry’s pristine water make this event a special destination swim experience! Sprint Triathlon- This competitive but shorter sprint-distance race is great for both veteran and novice athletes. 500 Yard Swim: If you are comfortable swimming in open water, you will absolutely love this rare opportunity to swim in a quarry nestled in a picturesque setting.
