The JellyBean 5K (JB5K) Run/Walk is an annual fundraiser that supports Trinity Presbyterian Church's Outreach and Service Projects. This year's Race Beneficiary will be our very own Manna Food Pantries. Local to our area, Manna Food Pantries' mission is to offer emergency food assistance, serve the food-related needs of vulnerable populations, and engage the entire community in the fight against hunger. Manna is a local grassroots organization fighting hunger in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties. They provide groceries directly to individuals and families in need, free of charge. What is a Tunnel To Towers Run & Walk?The Tunnel to Towers Run & Walk Series was created to honor the heroic life and death of Stephen Siller, a New York City firefighter (FDNY) who lost his life on September 11, 2001 after strapping on his gear and running through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers. Honor all of those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001 and support our first responders and military who make extraordinary sacrifices in the line of duty! What does the Tampa Firefighters 15th Annual Firefighters 5K event benefit?100% of the proceeds of our Annual Pediatric Burn Survivor 5K/1 mile Fun/Run benefits Camp Hopetake,  a week-long summer camp we host in Tampa for previously burned children of all ages.  Camp Hopetake provides a safe and supportive environment for kids to share their feelings and interact with other young burn victims from all over Florida. "Walk a mile in their shoes!" This year, we celebrate the 36th Annual Tallahassee AIDS Walk, working alongside partner organizations Neighborhood Medical Center and Bond Community Health Center. The Tallahassee AIDS Walk continues to grow, drawing hundreds of participants each year. AIDS Walk 2026 will be held on Saturday, April 4th at Cascades Park and begins at 9:00am.   This event is a celebration of all of those who have fought so hard to fight the spread of HIV/AIDS. Tavares Police Charity is hosting a 5k for Child Abuse Awareness month. During the month of April, and all year, we want to bring awareness to prevention and education regarding the signs of child abuse. There are various types of child abuse such as physical, sexual emotional and neglect. Our local law enforcement officers work regularly with other agencies such as the Child Advocacy Center, Department of Children and Families and Guardian ad Litem programs. Please remember, if you see something, say something. This run is a community event. If you cannot participate in the run, we still invite you to come, whether you are a survivor or a supporter, to show your support and cheer on our runners as they cross the finish line. A percentage of donations will be put towards child abuse prevention and education efforts and will be processed through the Mt. Dora Community Trust.

Firefighters! Pensacola Sports is excited to host the annual Pensacola Beach Firefighters Challenge on April 10-11, 2026.   Test your skill, strength, and stamina on the sugar-white sands of Pensacola Beach.  Register a team or challenge yourself and do the course solo. The Pensacola Beach Firefighters Challenge is a great family-friendly event to build camaraderie, compete, have fun, and win! There will be Individual and Team Firefighter Challenges and bring the kids out to try the Kids Challenge, happening on the same course with obstacles that simulates the same obstacles as the firefighters.
