5th Annual Walk for Wellness

Join us for the 5th Annual Falcons Walk for Wellness on May 22nd! This 5K walk/run brings our community together to promote the importance of both mental and physical health. All funds raised from the event will go directly back to supporting our school’s mental health and wellness initiatives, including suicide prevention programs like Hope Squad. Your participation helps us continue building a supportive, healthy environment for our students. Come walk, run, and make a difference with us! Last year, we hit our goal of $2,235.00! Where did Run Your Heart Across De Pere come from??  Run Your Heart Across De Pere was created in 2020 as a way for De Pere elementary students to connect in a fun, healthy and purposeful way during virtual learning. Students trained virtually and shared their race day photos and accomplishments with each other while raising funds for Hands Across De Pere, a local non-profit assisting students and families in our community. The success of this inaugural year led the RYHADP team to continue the tradition, bringing the race and training groups back to in-person. Salute the Troops

Join us for our  14th Annual Salute the Troops Memorial Races! The 2025 races will feature 3 timed events: a 10K run, 5K run/walk and a kids ‘fun run’ for children 12 and under as well as 2 non timed events: a 10K Ruck March, 5K Ruck March. Our course is wheelchair friendly and has 3 award divisions for wheeled participants for both the 10K and the 5K courses as we follow the prairie trail through and around Lakeside Park in Fond du Lac.  This annual running event helps raise money for Salute the Troops of Wisconsin and NAMI.  All proceeds stay local and are used to help Wisconsin Veterans and suicide prevention.  Oven Island is our command central. There will be a 5K run/walk that starts and ends at the Hartford Union High School followed by shorter races for children 10 and under. At the field there will also be "touch a truck" event, games, and other activities for kids of all ages. What is a Tunnel to Towers 5K?The Madison-area Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk is a non-competitive event honoring the heroic life and legacy of Stephen Siller, a New York City firefighter who lost his life on September 11, 2001. After learning of the attacks at the World Trade Center, Stephen strapped on his gear and ran through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers, where he made the ultimate sacrifice. The event is part of the National Run, Walk and Climb series sponsored by the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. The event includes an opening ceremony honoring 9/11 victims and celebrating local first responders and military members who continue to serve with courage and dedication. The 47th Annual Locust Street Festival kicks off with the famous 1.6-mile beer run/walk through the streets of Riverwest with 4 beer stops. First Mondays Summer Trail Series

The First Mondays 5k Trail Race Series at the Iola Winter Sports Club is a fun new running series for 2025.  The IWSC will host a trail race/run every First Monday of June/July/August with the final night the Series Championship in August. Each month there will be a new course for the racers - think fun, exciting, introductory trail races for everyone! We will also be hosting a vertical challenge race each series night where participants will attempt to be the first to run from the bottom of our ski jumps to the top on a different hill each event! CWOCC Women's Mountain Bike Weekend

This weekend is intended for women that are interested in mountain biking but don't know where to start or for those that have started but feel they are missing something in knowledge/skill/technique that makes the ride enjoyable. Certified and experienced coaches are excited to guide you through your learning experience and allow you to make some riding friends along the way.  Required: Mountain bike (with flat pedals preferably) and helmet. All other gear optional, but recommend gloves and eye protection. Join us for the first annual Emergency Rescue Squad 911 5K Run/Walk, 1 Mile Community Walk, and Children's Run on Saturday, June 6. All 5k participants will receive a medal to celebrate their achievement. The ERS is a volunteer organization that serves our community at times of great need. Booth Lake Memorial Swim

The 3rd Annual Booth Lake Memorial Swim will be held on June 6th, 2026.  Start the summer off with an open water swim in the clear waters of Booth Lake! Whether you are tackling your first open-water swim or aiming for a longer endurance challenge, this event provides a secure, well-supported environment for swimmers of all experience levels. Booth Lake is very well protected for the best swim conditions possible.   Water temperatures are expected to be between 72-76 degrees.   The swim includes options of a 0.6 mile, 1.2 miles and 5 kilometers (3.1 miles). Cinquepalmi and all veterans who have tragically lost the battle to PTSD through suicide. It’s an opportunity to raise awareness about PTSD and veteran suicide while supporting H.O.O.A.H. WI, an organization dedicated to preventing veteran suicide. Throughout the event, we will feature several organizations that support veterans in coping with and overcoming PTSD. Mind Over Matter Triathlon

This USA Triathlon sanctioned triathlon at Coconut Cove RV Resort in southwest Wisconsin is a fundraiser for brain cancer research in honor of the late Dennis Dietzel. Funds raised will be donated directly to glioblastoma (GBM) research at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. There will be a youth race at 12 pm on Saturday followed by sprint and olympic distance adult races on Sunday. This early summer event is perfect for first-timers as well as competitive triathletes. The race starts with a calm, clean lake swim in the lake at Coconut Cove RV Resort. Riders will then be challenged with a hilly bike on quiet and beautiful country roads in Grant County. The run is rolling, and finishes on a path around the lake with an optional slip n slide at the finish line! All finishers will receive finish line food/drinks, a water bottle and finisher medal. There will be awards for the top 3 overall male and female finishers, as well as the top 3 finishers in each division.

This event will take place during Shawano Sundrop Dayz on Saturday, June 6, 2026.  A registration tent will be set up on E. Elizabeth St. just West of Lincoln St. Registration and check in will begin at 7:30 am with the 5K Run/Walk beginning at 9:00 am. The entire course will be a combination of city streets and the Mountain Bay Trail.   Online registration ONLY prior to race day. The Maritime Marathon is a race for runners by runners.  The course is flat, fast and a Boston Qualifier.
