Don’t Stall, Just Call is an alcohol education and prevention program. Education is critical in preventing senseless deaths from alcohol.  Join us April 25, 2026 at Temple University Ambler Campus and support our life saving educational mission by participating in the 11th Annual Don't Stall, Just Call 5K Run, 1 Mile Walk, & Tot Trot (5 years and under)! This spring, the Sport Business Association at Gwynedd Mercy University is turning movement into meaning for the rare disease community. We are proud to host our inaugural, 100% student-run 5K Run & 1-Mile Walk, supporting Uplifting Athletes and the continued growth of the Sport Business Association. What began as a classroom collaboration has grown into a student-led initiative that uses sport to bring people together and create real impact. Uplifting Athletes is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit that harnesses the power of sport to support the 30 million Americans living with rare diseases through research funding, family support, and leadership development. We're back and ready for more family friendly fun; the 2.2 or 2.2 X 2 Tutu Run of 2026.  That's right; it's a Tutu Fun Run/Walk! There are two distances to choose from:  4.4 mile run or 2.2 mile run/walk. FoxWall EMS is hosting the Run For The Hill Of It. This 1-mile competitive race and family fun walk consists of running up one of the steepest hills in Pittsburgh…this hill being Center Avenue in the heart of Aspinwall. Runners will start at the Aspinwall Borough Building (200 Block of Commercial Ave.) and run to the top of Center Ave and circle back and end at Fireman’s Memorial Park. The race starts promptly at 9am. After the race there will be a family friendly atmosphere with excitement for all ages. For those of you who are new or unfamiliar, the Maniac Magee is an annual two-mile race (one-mile walk) for the entire Chatham Park community. As with tradition, all of the proceeds from the event will be donated to the End Hunger and Well- Rooted.  This 2-mile run / 1-mile walk through the Chatham Park neighborhood is a great race for new runners and for families looking to walk or run together for a great cause. This May, Aevidum is excited to hold its Strides Against Stigma 5Ks to unite our supporters to shatter the silence of depression and suicide while spreading kindness and positivity during Mental Health Awareness Month in May. We know physical activity is an impactful protective factor for mental health issues so we challenge you to get active this spring and support a great cause. Join us for an Amputee Running & Intro to Mobility Clinic at Messiah University in Mechanicsburg on Sunday, March 8th from 9:00 AM–12:00 PM, presented by Ability Ottobock.care Prosthetics and Orthotics. This welcoming, hands-on clinic is designed for individuals with limb loss who are curious about running, building confidence in the gym, and improving everyday mobility. No prior running or fitness experience required. The clinic is led by Sam Schaefer, an amputee himself, fitness professional, and trail runner, who brings both lived experience and professional expertise. Participants will have the opportunity to explore new prosthetic and adaptive technology, learn the fundamentals of amputee running gait, and gain practical strategies for navigating the gym and modifying exercises to meet their needs. Join Us for Goodell Gardens & Homestead 2026 5k Run/Walk Tree Hugger Run Get ready to hit the dirt at the 6th Annual Tree Hugger Run on May 2nd, 2026! Join us for an exhilarating walk or run over a fantastic mix of trails right here at the beautiful Goodell Gardens & Homestead in Edinboro, PA. It’s the perfect way to connect with nature and your inner trail enthusiast! The 13.1-mile half marathon course starts at 8:00 am featuring rolling hills and the beautiful Enola Low Grade Rail Trail. Half Marathon finishers will receive a commemorative medal.  The 10K/5K run/walk will have a cannon start at 9:00am/9:05am. A free kids fun run will occur at 9:45am. Refreshments and inflatables will be on hand to round out our family fun morning.

The Rotary Club of Somerset will host its Fifth Annual Walk-Run-Ride Event on Saturday, May 2, 2026, along the Great Allegheny Passage in Rockwood (Mile 43.8). Participants can choose from a 5K Walk, 5K Run, 10K Run, or 24-mile bike ride while supporting local community projects. The race will begin at 9am and there will be a separate start for each the ride, run, and walk. The race will be out and back style with turn around markers along the trail including support teams. New for 2026, businesses are encouraged to register Workplace Teams, with the top three teams earning the chance to direct a portion of event proceeds to a Somerset County nonprofit of their choice ($300 for first place, $200 for second, and $100 for third). Race-day registration begins at 8:00 a.m., with pre-registration available through mid-April. Check the club's Facebook page for details.

Welcome to the 6th Annual Strides of Hope 5K Run/Walk! This event will help raise funds for The Center for Loss and Bereavement. For 26 years, The Center for Loss and Bereavement has served our community as a non-profit organization that provides professional counseling, support services, and education for families, individuals, and organizations dealing with loss and grief. Located in Skippack Village in Montgomery County, the Center offers a warm and safe atmosphere that allows for expressing and exploring those thoughts and emotions associated with the grief process. Join Greenlight Operation for our annual 5K on City Island in Harrisburg to support survivors of human trafficking! Runners can participate in the fun run/walk or the certified race to compete for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place medals based on sex and age group, as well as compete for prizes awarded to the best time accomplished in the male and female category. All participants will receive an exclusive t-shirt and runner's kit. We are family and pet friendly 5K at Saylor Park, Coplay PA. Come and run or walk our 5K or cheer on your favorite participants on Saturday morning, May 2nd, 2026 at 9 AM.  We are excited to offer an 8K option again!  Our event will feature a large basket raffle, chip timing, and t-shirts for the event.   We also welcome our virtual runners and walkers from across the country who have supported us the past few years!   J’s Run is the annual signature event for the Pancreatic Cancer Hope Foundation- raising money for PC research and supporting those in the Lehigh Valley who are fighting the disease and their loved ones.   Top male and female finishers will receive a medal.  Top finishers in our seven age groups will receive a prize.   T-shirt and bib pick up  will be available for pick up the morning of the race starting at 7:30 AM.  Early pick will be announced closer to race day.
