MERCY HEALTH GLASS CITY MARATHON EXPO The expo and packet pickup for the Mercy Health Glass City Marathon will take place over two days. We will have a booth at this year's Mercy Health Glass City Marathon Expo.  What: We invite you to volunteer to help staff the TRRC booth on Friday, April 24, from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and Saturday, April 25, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.  Volunteer shifts are available for as little as 90 minutes, or you can choose to stay longer. Join us for our FOURTH annual “Keyed Up 5k” walk/run on FRIDAY, April 24th, at 8pm, sponsored by the Vocal Patrons Association at GlenOak High School! Our 5k is a relaxed evening event and walkers, joggers, and runners of all ages and abilities are welcome to join us! Strides for Safety is a family-friendly, timed 5K at Winton Woods organized by Jane Holbrook, a high school junior living with severe food allergies. The event benefits food allergy awareness and advocacy. More than 1 in 13 children and 1 in 10 adults in the U.S. have a food allergy—over 33 million people. A food-allergic reaction sends someone to the emergency room every three minutes. Funds raised through this event support the Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Connection Team (FAACT), an organization dedicated to education and advocacy, while supporting families in Cincinnati and across the country living with life-threatening food allergies. The 3.1-mile course at Winton Woods Park features a scenic lake, wooded trails, and beautiful spring views. The event is open to runners and walkers of all ages and abilities—families, kids, and first-time 5K participants are welcome. A large sprawling lake, sunny meadows, and a wooded ravine await visitors at Caesar Creek. Come run with us! Conquering with Canaan 5K Saturday, April 25, 2026 9:00 am Corwin-Nixon Park, Mason, OH Canaan Joseph Foundation is a non-profit organization with a goal of helping families with children diagnosed with Congenital Heart Disease. Every 15 minutes a child born is being diagnosed with a congenital heart disease, the # 1 birth defect in children. On average, 40,000 children born are diagnosed with CHD. With the size of a walnut, many newborns undergo open-heart surgeries in the first few days of their life. It is a world-changing and heart-wrenching journey the loved ones of the child must face. There is no cure for it, only a temporary fix. This means these children go numerous heart surgeries during their lifetime. Many do not make it beyond their first year. Needless to say, one of the hardest battles the loved ones fight along with their little heart warrior. The proceeds from this fundraiser will directly benefit the inpatient families and research in the Cardiac Unit at Cincinnati Ch

Race begins at Ashtabula County Metroparks’ Harpersfield Covered Bridge Metropark and ends at Lake Metroparks’ Hidden Valley Park in Madison. Race course is 8.5 miles. MADDEST HAT CONTESTAre you mad? (All racers qualify!) Design a hat (or some sort of river-worthy headgear) and wear it April 25. The “maddest hat” wins a prize! The more creative, the better— just go crazy! The Connect 5K Run for Youth Missions is a fundraising event that supports the youth of Connect Church in Akron, OH. Our high school and middle school students will serving their local Akron community this summer through partnership with local organizations! Our own backyard matters to God and also matters to us. Additionally, students will be going to camp to develop their faith and community with one another. Every step you run and dollar you donate helps get them that much closer to having a life-changing summer they will never forget.  This is also a great course for running on hills!

The Spring rendition of the Girls on the Run 5k will return to Wright State University.  Girls on the Run is an incredible program that inspires girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running.  Girls on the Run strives for a world where every girl knows and activates her limitless potential and is free to boldly pursue her dreams. RACE START: 9 a.m. PARKING: St. Pierre Education Center, 3757 Upper Bellbrook Rd, Bellbrook, Ohio 45305 (next to Bellbrook High School). REGISTRATION: Registration is available to all through RunSignup prior to the race.  In-person race day registration is also available from 8:00-8:45am at the St. Pierre Education Center.  Minors may be registered on RunSignup by a parent or guardian or in-person with a parent or guardian present to sign the waiver. What is a Tunnel To Towers Run & Walk? The Tunnel to Towers Run & Walk Series was created to honor the heroic life and death of Stephen Siller, a New York City firefighter (FDNY) who lost his life on September 11,2001 after strapping on his gear and running through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers. Honor all of those who lost their lives on September 11,2001 and support our first responders and military who make extraordinary sacrifices in the line of duty! The 15th Annual Fishcreek Raccoon Run will be held on Sunday, April 26th, 2026, and will consist of a 5K and 1-mile Fun Run centered through the neighborhoods of Fishcreek Elementary School. There will also be a virtual option for those who prefer to run virtually, or those who cannot join us on the 26th- near and far!! The Raccoon Run promotes the health and wellness of the district’s students and the community as a whole, while supporting the students of Fishcreek Elementary. Who We Are: Healthy Kids Running Series is a five (5) week running program in the spring and fall for kids Pre-K through 8th grade. Each HKRS Series takes place once a week and offers age-appropriate running events including the 50 & 75 yard dashes, the 1/4 mile, the 1/2 mile and the 1 mile run. Kids will earn points for each race they complete based on their finish. Pricing: The registration fee covers the entire five (5) weeks of the Series which includes race bibs for each week, a runner shirt, a finisher medal and any sponsor giveaways. This race through Woodland Cemetery is challenging. During the registration process, you will enter an estimated finish time. This will be your official guess! Your goal is to run a 5K and finish with a time (+/-) of your official estimated finishing time without any timing aids. Awards to the top 5 runners closest to their official estimated finishing time. Official Event Rules  You must enter your official prediction during registration in the "Estimated Finishing Time" section.
