This race provides an opportunity to help heal the community and to support The UPMC Child Advocacy Center of Central PA, an organization whose sole purpose is to treat children who have experienced abuse.  This is not a timed event. The focus of the run is to honor and remember Max.

The Zebra 5K Run/Walk is an in person or virtual 5K run OR walk! Why a Zebra? The Zebra is the official symbol of rare diseases in the United States... currently over 10,000 unique diseases! WHO WE HELP: The Zebra 5k Run/Walk benefits the greater rare disease community. There are nearly 10,000 diseases considered "rare," and approximately 1 in 10 Americans are living with one of these rare diseases or disorders. Help raise awareness for these patients and their families by participating in our in person and/or virtual 5K run/walk. Your support will benefit children living "rare" at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. These institutions and our program provides financial assistance to rare disease patients and their families who have exhausted all financial alternatives on their journey to receiving their child's rare diagnosis. The Zebra 5K specifically benefits the patient assistance funds at the hospitals who provide care and financial assistance to pediatric rare disease patients. WHO ARE WE? The New Hope Run Club is a running and movement group located in New Hope, PA. Welcome to the Frozen Hare 2 Swim and TriFest, the final event of our Frozen Hare Series! Event headquarters will be at Lawrence Park Swim Club, at 293 Langford Rd., Broomall, PA 19008. This is an outdoor heated 25 meter pool. Pool is generally heated to 81F or warmer. You'll have the choice of the following events: SwimFest: 5K, 1K pool swims. Run: Open 3 Mile run TriFest (Please note that for multisport events, there are no transition times kept. We ask that you arrive at least 30-45 minutes prior to your assigned start time. Start times and lane assignments will be emailed out Friday morning prior to the race. Swimmers may be required to share a lane with another swimmer. Everyone must be completed all of their legs by 3:30PM at the latest. That may require you to finish your bike and run before your swim! PLEASE NOTE THAT BIKE AND RUN LEGS ARE 100% SELF SUPPORTED. NO TRAFFIC CONTROL WILL BE PROVIDED AND CYCLISTS/RUNNERS WILL HAVE TO FOLLOW THE RULES OF THE ROAD. No course markings will be provided, so cyclists should bring GPS directions, or be very familiar with the roads in question. For those wishing not to ride the roads, cycling segments only may be substituted for a stationary ride on your bike trainer (at home or brought on deck). Stationary rides will constitute their own divisions and will be scored separately from road rides. For those racing in the cycling and running portions, you can expect to self report your times. SWIM, BIKE, and RUN MAY BE DONE IN ANY ORDER YOU WISH, but must be completed by 3:30PM the day of the race. All racers will receive a race t-shirt (provided entry is received by 1/26), and a custom French Creek Racing award based on their finish place. Custom awards to top 3 overall and in each age group, in each event. No awards ceremony, but awards are available soon after all results are tabulated. The first big race of the Pittsburgh winter is back for its 51st incredible year. The Spring Thaw is the longest continuously run race in Pennsylvania; sign up today and become a part of history! The Spring Thaw starts and finishes at North Park's iconic boathouse and follows counterclockwise loops around the lake with 5, 10, 15, and 20 mile race options. This race is a great training/test event for the Pittsburgh Marathon or any other spring race! The GCXCPa Promise: give back with every race. We are proud to continue to support 412 Food Rescue.

This annual event is now in its third year and is a great way to keep you motivated over winter training and/or tune up for your spring events. The park loop is a fairly flat 1.25 miles and you have the option of a 1/2 Marathon, Full Marathon, 50K, or 4 Person Marathon Relay. The races start in the center of the park and do a prologue partial lap to the perimeter and then loop the park clockwise finishing at the Tot Lot Pavilion. We will have lots of great snacks, drinks, and pizza. It will be a fun and festive atmosphere. Packet pick up will be available race morning starting at 7:30am. This event will be incredibly spectator friendly as runners will pass by the finish area after every 1.25 mile loop. This also makes it easy to use the indoor (heated) bathrooms and change clothes, get your own fluids/foods, etc. Live results will be posted to the results link on RunSignup and we will have a livestream throughout the day on our YouTube channel http://www.youtube.com/@2lraceservices so that family/friends can follow the action from near and far. There will be an 8 hour time limit for the event making it very walker friendly for the half and full marathon (but not the 50K).

Welcome to the 2nd annual Hop Forward Aquathlon, presented by French Creek Racing! This event takes place on the first day of daylight savings time on Sunday afternoon. It features a 300m serpentine swim, 5K run, and another 300m serpentine swim. Lawrence Park Swim Club is a 25 meter outdoor pool. The water is typically heated to 82F, so the event will take place rain or shine. NEW THIS YEAR!!! Each serpentine swim starts from the water slide in the diving well! Course: 300m swim, 5K run, 300m swim. We'll send swimmers off seeded fastest to slowest. Generally, we expect less than 50 registrations, so we can maintain a spacing of 10-15 seconds apart between swimmers. Unlike our Frozen Hare multisport series, this is a live timed race, so transitions will be timed and count toward your overall finish time. Smith, who lost his battle with leukemia in 1995, Just A Short Run has helped raise tens of thousands of dollars to benefit local charities working to eradicate leukemia and blood-borne cancers.   In 2025, we recommitted to Sean's legacy, launching a partnership with Cancer Bridges to help people diagnosed with cancer and their families and to support networks that help them navigate their cancer journey.  In 2026, we are proud to continue this partnership! With 7, 14, 21, and 28-mile race options, the UltraTrax Challenge at Bear Creek Mountain in Macungie, PA, is a scenic trek through the trails and winding paths of the mountain. Participants will journey through varied terrain and elevation up to 1200 feet to push their mental and physical capabilities. Snack/beverage stations and restrooms will be available every 2.5 miles of the course. Race Day Information UltraTrax Bear Creek kicks off at 7am on April 19, 2026. This is a family friendly endurance event for rucking, running, or walking. The event raises money for Folds of Honor Western PA.  https://westernpa.foldsofhonor.org/ Ruckers, Runners, walkers and families are welcome to do a single 4.7 mile loop or as many loops as possible.  Some participants will take on multiple loops over the course of 4 or 6 or 8 hours and a few athletes will stay on course for a full 12 hours.  All loops are ended with excitement and encouragement to see how far people will push together for a great cause.
