NHRC Run Walk for the Zebra 5K

The Zebra 5K Run/Walk is an in person or virtual 5K run OR walk! Why a Zebra?  The Zebra is the official symbol of rare diseases in the United States... currently over 10,000 unique diseases! WHO WE HELP: The Zebra 5k Run/Walk benefits the greater rare disease community. There are nearly 10,000 diseases considered "rare," and approximately 1 in 10 Americans are living with one of these rare diseases or disorders. Help raise awareness for these patients and their families by participating in our in person and/or virtual 5K run/walk. Your support will benefit children living "rare" at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. These institutions and our program provides financial assistance to rare disease patients and their families who have exhausted all financial alternatives on their journey to receiving their child's rare diagnosis.
