Seattle Atatürk Unity Run
Seattle, WA
TACAWA proudly presents the first annual Seattle Atatürk Unity Run.
Join us for a scenic and inspiring 5K and 10K at Gas Works Park and along the Burke-Gilman Trail as we celebrate unity, legacy, and health. With stunning views of Lake Union and Seattle’s skyline, this event brings runners, families, and community members together for a meaningful day of movement, connection, and celebration.
The Seattle Atatürk Unity Run honors May 19, a historic day marking the beginning of the movement led by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk that helped shape modern Turkey. The event commemorates Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day while celebrating the 145th birthday of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, founder of the Republic of Turkey.
More than a race, the Seattle Atatürk Unity Run is a celebration of the values that unite us: youth, democracy, freedom, equality, science, reason, and community. Participants run to support future generations, strengthen connections across cultures, and celebrate the power of coming together
