Thank you for joining our 25th Anniversary St. Jude Memphis Marathon Weekend volunteer team! Every volunteer plays a vital role in delivering an exceptional experience for participants and patient families, and continuing to make this event the largest, single-day fundraising event for the kids of St. Jude.  Families never receive a bill from St. Jude Children's Research Hospital for treatment, travel, housing or food so they can focus on helping their child live. When you support St. Jude, you help make cures possible for childhood cancer.  Volunteer opportunities are available prior to event week, at the Health & Fitness Expo (Thursday, Dec. 3 and Friday, Dec. 4 and on race day (Saturday, Dec. 5). Choose from a variety of positions and then follow the steps to register for one (or multiple shifts) and encourage others to volunteer with you. 2026 will be the year to Run LoCo Half Marathon and Elf on the Run 5K!  The Run LoCo Half Marathon will be a certified out and back race course starting and finishing at the Tellico Lake Canal Day Use Area. Scenic views of the Tennessee River, Downtown Lenoir City and the Greenway will be featured on this certified course.   All Runners will receive a swag bag at registration including a Run LoCo Hoodie.  Finishers will receive a finisher medal, wonderful views and fantastic day.  Runners need to be registered by October 20 to guarantee swag.  Half Marathon Race starts at 8am,  Elf on the Run will start at 8:05. 5K Elf on the Run will also be an out and back race utilizing start and finish at Tellico Lake Canal Day Use Area.  Elf runners will receive swag bags and hoodies at registration, finisher medals, wonderful views and fantastic day!  Registrations by October 15 will be guaranteed swag.  Runners are encouraged to dress as the Elf normally found on a shelf.  All races support the

Welcome to the White Elephant 5K/10K/Half Marathon—the event inspired by everyone’s favorite gift-swapping tradition, where surprises, silliness, and a little friendly chaos make the fun. The United Way of Rhea County Jingle Bell Run is a festive, family-friendly way to kick off the holiday season while supporting local families! The race begins and ends at the United Way of Rhea County office, 224 4th Avenue, Dayton, TN, with a start time of 8:30 AM. Street parking is available throughout the surrounding area, and restrooms will be available inside the United Way office. Participants can choose the 5K race ($35) or the 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk ($20). Packet pickup ( Bib and T- Shirt) will be held December 4th at the United Way of Rhea County Office 224 4th Avenue, Suite 101, Dayton, TN 37321 from 5:00–7:00 PM, with race-morning pickup at the United Way of Rhea County office from 6:30–8:00 AM. And don’t just register—create a team! We’re adding a Jingle Bell Run Team Challenge this year and encouraging everyone to grab some coworkers, friends, neighbors, church members, or family and run or walk together. Join Wallace Memorial Church at Victor Ashe Park on Sunday, December 6, 2026 to help raise support for the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering which will be used to support global missions. The 5k race and 1mile fun run/walk will be held at Victor Ashe Park by the light of the Moon. Head lamps, flashlights, glow sticks and night time running gear is encouraged. Let's light up the greenways! Packet Pickup will begin Sunday, December 6th at 4:30pm at the Victor Ashe pavilion and the race will start at 5:30pm. The courses start and finish at the Victor Ashe Pavilion. The 5k race course is an out and back on the greenway, running along the frisbee golf course, connecting to the cross walk to the Northwest Middle School Greenway, looping around the lower loop and coming back. Finish Line is in front of the pavilion. The 1 mile course goes almost completely around the Victor Ashe Soccer Fields and then turns around and comes back to the start finish line area in front of the pavilion. Anyone registering after November 8, 2026 will receive shirts while supplies last. Forget the massive, impersonal race-day crowds. We keep things small, personal, and local, so every run feels less like a number and more like a memory. Whether it's a 5K, 10K, half-marathon, or virtual run, you'll get the warmth of a hometown event. Overview: Spots sell out FAST! We close each wave the moment it fills. Once a wave sells out, you can grab the virtual run option or join the waitlist. This is a smaller, private group run with a capped field per wave so it never feels crowded and you're never just a bib number. All paces and ages welcome (under 18 with a guardian) - run it, walk it, however you like! There's no gear, no setup, no fuss - just you, the course, and our coordinators cheering you on in a relaxed, stress-free setting. Start the New Year off on the right foot! Murfreesboro's New Year's Day 5k is a family-friendly event. This Better Boro Project sanctioned event will be electronically-timed, and every finisher will receive a medal. There are awards for overall winners as well as age group winners in the male and female categories. REGISTRATION$30 per person, includes a festive long sleeve t-shirt    (***REGISTER by DEC 8 to guarantee your shirt size...shirts have to be ordered, printed and delivered.) Hill and Dale 8 Miler Presented by Memphis Runners Track Club Event Details Race Date: January 2, 2027 Start Time: 11:00 AM Location: Meeman-Shelby Forest State Park Start 2027 off right with the Hill and Dale 8 Miler. This scenic course winds through the roads and paved paths of Meeman-Shelby Forest State Park, showcasing the hills and dales of one of Tennessee’s most beautiful parks. This is one of only a handful of USATF-certified 8-mile courses in Tennessee (Certificate #TN20013MS). Registration NO race day registration onsite. Registration will remain open through race day, but must be completed on your own device before arriving. Register early to secure the lowest pricing! Prices increase on December 24th. Timing The race will be chip-timed (electronic timing) by the Memphis Runners Track Club. Packet Pickup TBD Race-day packet pickup will be available. Directions Do NOT rely solely on GPS for exact race location. -Take Hwy 51 (Thomas) to North Watkins heading west/north. Continue on North Watkins until it ends at Locke-Cuba Road. Turn LEFT and go approximately 0.7 miles to the 4-way stop at the General Store. -Continue straight for approximately 1.6 miles to the park entrance. -Turn RIGHT onto Grassy Lake Road. Continue straight inside the park for about 1 mile to reach the start/finish area. -Registration will be located in the pavilion near the start/finish line.
