Miles for Mark 5k GLOW RUN

For this year's Miles for Mark 5k, we will return to Yankee Park for another evening Glow Run.  We have a flat and fast course, all within the trail system at Yankee Park.   The Mark Andrew Kreusch Memorial Fund was founded by his family to honor Mark's life and spirit. Mark was four years old when his life suddenly ended in a boating accident on August 11, 2007. Mark loved his family, his friends, and embraced life by enjoying all that he did. His zest for life shined through his smile and giggle. Mark's parents vowed to keep his spirit alive by enriching the lives of other children. His family and friends miss him dearly. Their dream is to continue his legacy. Through various projects the fund will "Leave a MARK on a child's life" with all proceeds benefitting the Mark A. Lance Corporal Noah Lippeatt 3:16 Challenge

The LCpl Noah Lippeatt 3:16 Challenge is modeled after the United States Marine Corps Physical Fitness Test, combining strength and endurance through 3 core challenges, push ups, sit ups, and planks, while running 3.16 miles.​​​​ The challenge is designed for 3.16 miles to represent John 3:16, a core belief LCpl Noah Lippeatt carried and shared with others throughout his life. All proceeds from this event will go towards the Noah Lippeatt Foundation, which raises money for Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society (NMCRS), care packages, as well as uplifting activities for the Marines Stationed with Guard Company. This is all in honor of LCpl Noah Lippeatt, who passed on June 16, 2024. You will receive a specially designed race T-shirt and a race challenge coin if registered by March 16, 2026. CASA is a program that advocates in court for child victims of abuse and neglect. OSU Indoor Triathlon

This year's race will be held in the Recreational and Physical Activity Center (RPAC) at The Ohio State University on Sunday, April 19th, 2026. This will count as a USAT Collegiate Nationals qualifier.  An indoor triathlon is based on time rather than distance, allowing all levels of ability the opportunity to compete! There will be a 10 minute swim in the indoor competition pool. Then there is a 15 minute transition that allows you to change into biking clothes/get situated at your stationary bike. The stationary bike ride will last 20 minutes. A 5 minute transition is then given to allow you enough time to get to the track. Concluding the race is a 15 minute run on our indoor track. Prizes will be given out to our winners. Prizes: This years prizes include a Roka Wetsuit! The top male and top female finishers will each be awarded a certificate to purchase a wetsuit.
