The sequence is: chug a beer, run 400 meters, repeat until all beers are consumed and the mile is completed. - Beers must be consumed in the designated transition areas before starting each running lap. - Competitors must drink bottled or canned beer of no less than 355 mL (12 oz), which is a standard size in the USA and some other countries. - No specialized cans or bottles that allow for faster pouring (e.g., wide-mouth cans or bottles) are permitted. - Beer cans must not be tampered with in any way (no shotgunning, puncturing, or squeezing). The only action allowed is opening the can using the tab. - The beer must have a minimum of 5% alcohol by volume. Hard ciders, hard sodas, and other sugary alcoholic beverages do not qualify. - Each beer bottle or can must not be opened until the competitor enters the transition zone for each lap. - Competitors who vomit before finishing the race must complete one penalty lap immediately after their fourth lap. If vomiting occurs more than once during the race, only one penalty lap is required at the end. - If attempting a performance for official records, it is recommended to provide video evidence of the race to verify that all beer was consumed. This can be achieved by tipping the empty beer over your head after each chug or by collecting the containers and measuring the remaining liquid to ensure it totals less than 4 oz across all four beers. After the Leaves / Josh Feldt Memorial Half Marathon Sunday, November 22, 2026 Minnewaska State Park Preserve, 5281 Route 44-55 Kerhonkson, NY 12446 ***We are excited to announce a return to the traditional race course now that the restoration of the Awosting Lake Carriageway is complete! There is no longer that grinding uphill on Smiley Carriageway 2/3rd of the way into the race :) *** This run is simply spectacular as we run around two pristine glacial lakes and along the Shawangunk Ridge, which affords views into five states. We now have a much better staging area and improved parking. Minnewaska State Park Preserve's groomed, unpaved carriage trails are perfect for running. The Shawangunk Runners Club strives to keep running affordable for all, which explains the low entry fee of $30.The park charges a $10 per car parking fee so carpooling saves you money and parking spots for others. Registration is online only. We have a maximum limit of 300 runners once we hit the 300 cap registration will end (please carpool and save money). The park charges a per-car parking fee of $10, not a per-person fee. This race typically sells out. There are awards for the top 3 finishers in all standard 10-year age groups, refreshments, and a finisher's gift for all finishers. There is chip timing. The race will start at 11:30 am, with packet/bib pickup beginning at 10:30 am. We must be off the trails by 2:15 pm, so for people who can't meet the 2-hour and 45-minute race cut-off time, we will have an early start time at 11 am - giving people an extra half hour to finish. If you can't reasonably finish with a time under 3:15, this race is not for you.

The Turkey Trot is named after Peter Oley, a longtime track coach in Irvington. Oley was the "godfather of running" and helped create the race. Peter K. Oley was the admired coach of the Irvington High School track and cross country teams for 50 years. Oley had a 422-47 record in outdoor track and a 278-75 record in cross country. He closed out his career in 2005 with a 133 dual-meet winning streak. Overall, his track and cross-country teams captured a combined 27 Section 1 titles, helping him earn 12 Coach of the Year accolades. In 2002, he was inducted into the Westchester Sports Hall of Fame. Peter retired from coaching in 2005 (1956-2005 which is 50 seasons). He was also inducted into the NYSPHSAA Hall of Fame in 2008, The runners complete a 2.5 mile course set throughout the village for the race that has been held every year since 1978, starting by the Dows Lane Elementary School, looping up through the village and finishing just off the Aqueduct in Memorial Park, mixing some hills, some dales, some roads, some dirt, some grass and lots of fun. The Race with Grace 10K Why RwG 3.0?The Race with Grace (RwG) 10K was established in 1991 as an outgrowth of the participation of several men in the Spencerport Canal Days races during the mid-1980’s. It had a two-fold purpose, the more important one being a community outreach. Secondarily, it was play on the current Pastor’s name, George Grace, who was a runner. In our inaugural year we had 185 registrants and 171 finishers. Our attendance peaked in 2015 when we celebrated our silver anniversary race with 1245 registrants and 1121 finishers. Over the race’s 31-year existence, a total of approximately 5,000 individuals have participated. Five men remain who have finished every single RwG and ran virtually in 2020. They are Stan Cipira, Bob Dyjak, Dave O’Leary, Ric Perry and Doug Ralph. The race established itself as one of the best races in western NY. It has consistently been named one of NY’s finest races by New England Runner magazine. In addition, it has been recognized as one of the cornerstone races in the Rochester Runner of the Year series. All proceeds, once race expenses are deducted, go to support C.U.R.E. Childhood Cancer Association. With the current race director stepping down due to work and family obligations, no clear choice for a successor, the race’s future appeared to be at crossroads. Thankfully, as the “door” on the race was quickly closing, the Rochester Running Company and Lakeshore Community Church agreed to manage and host this year’s race. Join us on Thanksgiving morning for the 5th annual Cambridge Thanksgiving Turkey Trot 5k. This will be a morning of fun, community fellowship, and exercise! This fast and scenic course will start at the old brick Coila Church on State Route 372 complete with its new addition and increased parking capacity, and head towards the village of Cambridge. You will get to run along Old Coila Road, through portions of downtown, and by the old Cambridge Hotel before heading back down main street and finishing at The Coila Church, where snacks and beverages will be handed out as you finish, along with finish photos and finisher goodies! Course maps will be provided at check-in, route will be clearly marked and controlled by law enforcement to ensure safety. Over the last 4 years, we have been proud to put 100% of registration profit towards the Cambridge Food Pantry, the CVRS (Cambridge Valley Rescue Squad), and the Cambridge Fuel Fund! This year's donations recipient will be the Cambridge Fuel Fund! Race T-Shirts will be available for purchase for participants who enroll prior to Tuesday, November 10. This year's event will include the famous Mashed Potato Fun Run, which is free for kids 12 and under, and for the more serious runners, our USATF certified 5K course will include chip timed start and finish. As part of the package provided by the chip-timing company, photos of individual runners crossing the finish line will be available for upload at no cost. Age groups this coming year will be in ten-year increments, and medals will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each age group, with separate awards for male and female. The Liverpool Turkey Trot is a 501(c)(3) status and is a premier run with a festive atmosphere and an awesome park setting to start your Thanksgiving day! Since its humble beginnings 12 years ago, when 124 runners entered, the LTT has grown into one of the largest and most festive turkey trots in Central New York with over 2400 strong and growing!

Register by 10/23/26 to choose your shirt size. After 10/23/26, shirt sizes cannot be guaranteed. Register a group of 4 or more together in the 5K and take $10 off your group registration! Awards presented to the top 3 males and females overall and in the following age groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and over. Join us Thanksgiving morning for the Bloodline Turkey Trot 5K, formerly known as the CYO Basketball Turkey Trot! Over the last three years, this race has grown so much in size! What started off as a small event has become one with almost 600 runners last year! We want to support as many student athletes as we can, so CYO basketball has merged with Bloodline Sports and The Warwick XC Purple Wave! We are so proud of this race and want it to continue to grow! We have moved operations across the street to the middle school. We will be starting at the Warwick track and continuing towards the same route as the past years. The finish line will be at the track! It will be timed and the distance has been professionally measured. This family-friendly 5K run or walk brings the Warwick community together for a fun and active start to Thanksgiving while supporting Warwick athletes. Runners and walkers of all ages and abilities are welcome. Strollers and leashed dogs are welcome as well! Turkey costumes are encouraged! Location: Warwick Valley Middle School Date: November 26th, 2026 Time: 8:00 Start Early Bib Pick up will be held on November 25th from 3-6pm at Fence Road Farm Brewery located at 13 Fence Rd. Warwick! Same day bib pick up will begin at 6:30am, 11/26! NO in-person same day registration. All runners must register on Runsignup! Parking: Parking will be available in the Middle School District Office lot. The student and faculty parking lot at the high school is also available but please note that you will NOT be able to get out of that lot when the the race is still going on as it is on the direct route. If you need to leave right when you finish, please park at the lot next to the District Office. The race will be held, rain, snow or shine! No refunds!

Join us for a scenic and flat run and walk through Blue Point on Thanksgiving morning. There is an untimed 5k and 1.5-mile walk, in addition to a kid's fun run so everyone can join! Registration is limited to 1600 participants, so make sure to sign up early! Participants will receive a commemorative technical fabric long sleeve race shirt.
