The Washington Police Department explorer post will be hosting their inaugural 5k run.  The money raised will be used to help send the explorers to the annual St. Louis Area Law Enforcement Explorer Academy, which is a week long event held in the St. Louis area.  The academy costs the post roughly $450 per kid per year.  A majority of this is paid for by the post to allow for all explorers to attend that want to attend, regardless of financial ability. We are hoping to send 6-7 explorers this year. This is a program that is designed for youth aged 14-20 who want to learn about law enforcement.  Exploring is covered under the Boy Scouts of America Learning for Life umbrella. This run is being held the day before National Police Week begins. The historic Berryman Trail is an approximately 26.4-mile single-track loop located in the Mark Twain National Forest. Run one loop for the Marathon, and two loops for the 50+-Mile race. The loop is entirely forested and continuously hilly, with a total elevation gain/loss of 2500 ft/2500 ft per loop.

The in-person 2026 Ferguson Twilight Run event is on Saturday, May 16 at 501 South Florissant Road in downtown Ferguson! In-person distances include one mile, 5K (3.1 miles), 10K (6.2 miles). Registered participants will receive a 2025 limited edition FTR T-shirt with race finishers receiving a commemorative medal.   Proceeds from the Ferguson Twilight Run event benefits local non-profits. The C26 Kansas City Triathlon is the largest and one of the most renowned triathlons in the region, attracting both novice and veteran triathletes. For novice and veteran triathletes there will be a time trial swim start and Elite triathletes a wave swim start. The bike and run is a closed, flat and fast course. The race is early in the season which has a good probability of being wetsuit legal. This is the 45th Annual Night Flight 5K Run.  Night Flight will take place at Legacy Park Amphitheater on Friday, May 29th.   Packet pick-up will be held at Lee's Summit Medical Center, 2100 SE Blue Parkway, on Thursday, May 28th from 4:00-6:00pm. Packet pick-up and late registration will be held on Friday, May 29th from 4:00-7:00 pm at Legacy Park Amphitheater. The course features a scenic route on the Legacy trail. This 4.17 mile run/walk and 9.63 run takes place at Finley Farms in Ozark Missouri.  The course features an out and back route, exploring the property at Finley Farms and the new Chadwick Flyer Trail.  Runners will receive a finisher's medal and an amazing breakfast prepared by the Chef at The Mill.  Participants are invited to informally tour the historic property after the race.  Walk through Finley Farms,  see the Workshop, the high-yield urban farm that supports the onsite restaurants, The Garrison, The Chapel and The Riverside Bridge. We are thrilled to host the 5th annual Innsbrook Kids Triathlon! The race will start at Charette Creek Commons. The bike is flat and fast! Athletes will ride on scenic paved roads partially closed to traffic with plenty of volunteers along the course and turns clearly marked. Then onto the fun run! Join us for 10th edition of The Great Escape & Mini Escape Triathlons on June 13th & 14th, 2026!!  We are excited to offer a well-organized, family & beginner friendly triathlon in Jefferson City, Missouri! To complete the Escape, athletes will have a snake swim in the 4 lane, 50 meter pool at Ellis Porter Riverside Park, then on to the bike over city & rural roads to the outskirts of the new Missouri State Prison and back. The run will take athletes to the old historic Missouri State Penitentiary and back to cross the finish line and earn the classic Great Escape medal!  With triathlon & duathlon events for ages 13 & up (The *Great* Escape), and a triathlon event for ages 5 - 12 (The *Mini* Escape), there is something for the whole family.  If you're speedy, we've got all kinds of prizes and swag for the overall winners, plus finisher medals & participant shirts for everyone, so mark your calendars for the 2026 Great Escape Triathlon!!

The Race For Reconciliation is a 5K run/walk with the goal of promoting racial unity in St. Louis.  This year the race will be held on Delmar Blvd to bring the message of racial unity to the historic Delmar Divide in collaboration with the Delmar Loop Juneteenth Celebration.
