Stamford Run Club 5k/10k/Half Marathon 2026

It’s back! (and hopefully back for good!) After a 7 year pause and a change of ownership, the Deer Lake Trail Run is back. Deer Lake Outdoor Center, formerly Deer Lake Scout Reservation, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to accessible outdoor education while protecting their more than 250 acres of green space and miles of trails. Come to rural Killingworth, CT to run (or hike) the Deer Lake Trail Run. The challenging 5(ish)-mile course, involving almost 500 ft of elevation gain, traverses the 250+ acre property and offers many scenic views as you navigate the ever-changing elevations on well-marked trails. This is a true trail course, and the technical nature of the terrain will mean that you will be exposed to rocks, roots, possible mud, etc. There will be awards for male & female winners in each age group listed below as well as the overall male & female winners. The Women's League of Westport, formerly the Westport Young Women's League, presents the 47th Annual Minute Man Race at Compo Beach. The annual Granby Road Race will take place on Saturday, May 1, 2027. One of Connecticut’s oldest and most historic road races, the 10K features a rolling, scenic course that winds along local roads and through the beautiful McLean Game Refuge. A 5K option is also available, with a course that runs partly on the road and partly through Salmon Brook Park. Both races start just south of Granby Middle School on Route 10. The 5K heads south on Route 10 and enters Salmon Brook Park, where runners complete a loop before returning to Route 10 and heading north back to Granby Middle School. The 10K continues south on the west side of Route 10 to Canton Road, where runners turn right and enter the McLean Game Refuge. After exiting the refuge, runners return to the west side of Route 10, continue north, and turn left into the semi-circle driveway in front of Granby Memorial High School, finishing at the high school. We are pleased to present TriRidgefield and DuRidgefield. First held in 2007, the races wind their way through the bucolic countryside of Ridgefield, Connecticut. There will be a Sprint Triathlon, consisting of a half-mile swim in pristine Great Pond, a rolling 13-mile bike ride, and a challenging 5K finishing run. A series of ten progressively longer races, held at various locations throughout the Town of Westport. We're happy to announce the 64th annual Roadrunners Summer Series! Once again, we will be using the follow protocols: There will be no in-person race day registration on paper forms. Online registration will remain open until the start time. Runners should register before arriving at the race site, or on their phones when they get there (scan the QR code on the sandwich board sign), then check in with other pre-registered runners. Once again, we will utilize ChronoTrack chip timing technology for all races. This will give all runners a net or "chip" time based on when they cross the start, and will have the added benefit of almost instant results.
