Lace up your running shoes to run or walk with Scouting America’s Great Falls Council!  The Adventure Awaits 5k is open to all ages, and beginners are welcome. As you walk or run, you will be able to take in the scenery and atmosphere at Riverfront Park. This is a great way for Scouts, avid runners, and families to get outdoors and support Scouting in their community. The race will be held at the Riverfront Park in Sayre Borough, Pennsylvania with a mix of trail and road experience. Restrooms are available, and there will be at least one water stop along the race from local Scouts. Pre-race packet pick up will be held on Friday, August 28th from 5:30 to 7:00 pm (Location TBD). Day-of packet pick up will take place from 7:00 am to 7:45 am. The 5k run/walk begins at 8:30 am. Early registration through RunSignup is encouraged for a reduced fee of $25. The rugged trail race you know and love is back for its 14th year in 2026! Participants can choose from a 5K, 10K or 50K option. All courses are technical trails through a beautiful old-growth forest with spectacular scenery.   The 5K will feature a course that is almost entirely on trail. The 10K course includes a flat, fast section to feature the beautiful Wetlands trail as you run past fields and streams. Don't worry, you'll still get your 3 steep climbs, technical descents and stunning sights.   For those who really want a challenge, register for the 50K. This gnarly and beautiful course will be 5 loops on the 10K course, totaling 7,000+ feet of elevation gain. We’re partnering with the Tacoma Rainiers, it’s going to be a weekend full of running and baseball fun! The Tacoma Narrows Half Marathon is an out-and-back course that will start outside Cheney Stadium, you’ll then run along the Scott Pierson Trail, cross the pedestrian bridge over highway 16 and run through the quiet Skyline neighborhood* then take you across the majestic Tacoma Narrows Bridge and bring you back inside Cheney Stadium, where you’ll run on the warning track (and where you will see yourself on the jumbotron and be able to say “Look Ma, I made it!”). *You’ll cross the Skyline Bridge again on the way back and run the neighborhood loop again on the way back to Cheney Stadium. Taste of Portage Half Marathon will take you on a beautiful run through Portage, Wisconsin.  Taste of Portage Half Marathon will be a course with lots of variety as you make your way past several of our community parks and the paved Levee path on the Wisconsin River.  We will have cool swag, medals, and a huge downtown post-race block party/awards ceremony! The RUD Run (Run Until Done) is a very unique experience for runners! We welcome runners of all ability and experience level. We believe this event allows the opportunity for runners to experience our trails, a variety of the unique features, and to push themselves in a unique format. The Thirsty 13 Half Marathon is one of the best races in Colorado! The race course:  Fast and mostly downhill, with gorgeous scenery.  Perfect for runners new to the half marathon distance or looking to set a PR. The finish line:  Ska Brewing, one of the best breweries in Colorado.  A crowd of spectators cheers you to the finish. Your (optional) post-race celebration: The San Juan Brewfest, with over 30 breweries waiting to congratulate you on your run!  You can choose to add a ticket when you register.

RexRun for PAWSitivity 2026 opens at 7:00 am so you can visit with the doggies and get an early peek in the Vendor Marketplace! Our family 5K run/walk event kicks off at 7:50am with the singing of our National Anthem. The 5K trail run begins at 8am and is followed at 8:10am with the 5K walk (dogs are welcome!) and the kid's run at 8:45am. In partnership, The YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region and the Colorado Springs Sports Corp want to bring you the Rocky Mountain 5K presented by School District 11, the official 5K of the Rocky Mountain State Games! The Rocky Mountain 5K will be giving back to families through the YMCA’s life changing programs and supporting CSSC’s Rocky Mountain State Games initiatives to provide sport opportunities for athletes of all ages and athletic abilities. LOCATION: This is an out and back mostly flat 5K run/walk that will start at America the Beautiful Park and then heads north on the Pikes Peak Greenway trail for 1.55 miles until the turn-around. This year will mark our 3rd annual Run For Hope when we remember, honor, and celebrate those who lost their lives to addiction. This year's event is hosted by our Finding Hope and Hope After Loss Support Groups. We currently have over 800 members across the United States who attend these free support groups to seek hope and healing as they navigate loving someone with addiction, as well as find strength through their grief of losing a loved one. This year’s run will be family focused with our second one-mile memorial walk/run, inflatables, food trucks, and more. This will be an event you and your family will not want to miss!
