Race Day: November 21, 2026   Join us for the 4th Annual Dam 5 Miler!   This race starts at the Center Hill Recreation Area, which offers a scenic vantage point of the Center Hill Dam.  The run continues over Center Hill Dam towards then enters Edgar Evins State Park.  As you enter the State Park, a native pollinator corridor hugs the roads as you travel to the Visitor Center Office.  The route in both directions has challenging points due to road inclines.   Participants who wish to run or walk are both welcome at the Dam 5 Miler. This year, Recovery Unplugged along with Insight Wellness will host the Fifth Annual Nashville Recovery Run 5k. We come together with the Nashville community to bring awareness to Substance Use Disorder, congratulate those who have successfully come through recovery, and cheer on those still in the fight. This year, 2026, we will be running the 5k at Cornelia Fort Airpark in Nashville. We will have music, and food for runners, and will have Personal Best Racing on site to provide official timing for the race. Join Keep Blount Beautiful (KBB) and Little River Watershed Association (LRWA) for the 8th Annual Little River Run 5K, set for 11 AM on Saturday, November 21st at The Abbey (7765 River Rd. Townsend, TN 37882). The Little River Run 5K is a joint fundraising effort that brings together hundreds of people to celebrate the beauty of Blount County, and all proceeds from the event benefit KBB and LRWA's free programs and events that focus on environmental stewardship. Registration: Both in-person and virtual race options are available. Participants of all ages and skill levels are welcome. The in-person race is a chip-timed event and will start promptly at 11 AM. Early-bird registration is $25 and ends at 11:59 PM Monday, September 7th. Registration will increase to $30 on Tuesday, September 8th at 12 AM. Registration will increase to $35 on Monday, November 16th at 12 AM. Children 12 and under can register for a rate of $15 at any time (age-based pricing will be applied at checkout). The virtual race is a flat rate of $30. Registration will be available until 10 AM on race day, but registering ahead of time is highly encouraged. Virtual Runners: Virtual runners will not receive a chipped bib and therefore will not be eligible for an award. Virtual runners should pick up their race T-shirts at the pre-race packet pickup. The course then connects with the Townsend Historical Greenway for a short time before turning down a side road to end back at the The Abbey. Ticket holders must be present to win their prize. Weather: Historically, the high in Townsend in November is 60 and the low is 38, so plan for a chill but be ready to get warmed up! Dress sensibly and don't pile on layers; the rule of thumb is to add 10 to 20 degrees to the outside temperature to calculate your running temperature. Race personnel reserves the right to delay, cancel, or suspend the race or modify the course due to inclement weather. As stated on the registration and race pages, there are no refunds or transfers. Whether you're chasing a personal record or taking in the scenic beauty of East Tennessee, this out-and-back course offers a simple, rewarding, and challenging run. 🏃 Course Overview The BAT 5 Miler is a straightforward 2.5-mile out-and-back course along the paved road winding through Rocky Fork State Park. You will start at the park entrance area, head 2.5 miles steadily uphill, make the turnaround, and enjoy a fast, coasting descent all the way back to the finish line. Distance: 5 (ish) Miles Terrain: Paved park road (gradual incline on the way up, fast downhill on the way back) Location: Rocky Fork State Park, Flag Pond, TN ⚠️ Important Race Details & Safety Traffic Notice: The park road will remain open to vehicular traffic during the race. Please stay to the side of the road, remain aware of your surroundings, and yield to incoming vehicles. ⏱️ Start Times Prompt Start: The main race begins promptly at 11:00 AM. Tullahoma Area Chamber of Commerce (TACC) Wobble Gobble 5k. IT'S TIME FOR THE 7TH ANNUAL WOBBLE GOBBLE 5K! This is a Run/Walk 5k that will run down Tullahoma's well known Jackson and Atlantic Streets. That's right! We are closing part of the roads and rolling out the red carpet for you to run with your friends on the streets of Tullahoma. You will be able to catch a glance at many historic sites and sounds in a new and unique way. The Downtown Tullahoma area will be highlighted at the start and finish of the race along with other locations like the Tullahoma Fine Arts Center, South Jackson Civic Center, multiple historic downtown churches, City Hall, and more along the course. Additionally, runners will get the opportunity to run down Atlantic Street which has been dubbed one of the widest streets in America and runs along the railroad tracks and along many historic sites in Tullahoma. One key site is History Park (103 NE Atlantic) which was the location of the original Tullahoma depot until World War II. A 1964 L&N Caboose purchased from the Tennessee Central Railway Museum by the Tullahoma Historic Preservation Society in 2000 now marks the location. The caboose typifies the important part the railroad has played in the history of Tullahoma. It was responsible for the city's location in 1852 about midway between Nashville and Chattanooga and made Tullahoma an important railroad terminal. BEST DEAL!!! OUTLAST is a 6-hour trail endurance challenge where runners complete a 5K every hour, on the hour. Each lap must be finished within the hour to stay in the event. If you finish early, you rest until the next round. Miss a lap, and you’re out. Complete all six rounds, and you OUTLAST. This isn't just about speed — it's about pacing, discipline, and mental grit. Whether you're trying to survive all six or win your division, the challenge is the same: show up each hour, push your limits, and stay in it. Each course is trail-based, with natural terrain, elevation, and unpredictable conditions. You’ll have time between rounds to recover, refuel, and refocus — but not much. What You Earn: ​4 laps = “Grit Earned” patch 5 laps = “Survivor” patch 6 laps = Premium “OUTLAST” 6-inch medal ​​All participants receive a premium OUTLAST Tee. Top male and female with the fastest combined 5K times at each event win the 1st Place OUTLAST award. If you complete all 6, your combined time counts toward the local win and world leaderboard. Are these trail races or road? Every OUTLAST race is on trail terrain — dirt, rocks, roots, and elevation. Sometimes some pavement and gravel. Can I walk? Yes, as long as you finish the 5K within the hour. But some courses are rugged, and time can sneak up on you. Are there aid stations? Yes. There will be water, basic hydration, and snacks at the basecamp/loop start. This is a cupless event — bring your own bottle or hydration system. What should I bring? The Full Belly is a fun and competitive race benefiting Shelby Park and Bottoms and raising money for neighbors in need during the holiday season. The Give 'N Gobble 5K Thanksgiving Day Race is a fun-filled annual holiday tradition for Dickson County and many families in Middle Tennessee! As one of Middle Tennessee’s largest Thanksgiving Day races, the Give 'N Gobble's 5K Race and One Mile Walk/Run starts at with great fanfare on Historic Main Street in Downtown Dickson and finishes at Holland Park, next to the Clement Railroad Hotel Museum. For many, the Give 'N Gobble is a fun, family-centered tradition, however the race does attract many professional runners from all over Tennessee and the United States. The Give 'N Gobble’s challenging 5K course is officially certified by USA Track and Field, and both the 5K and One Mile races are RFID (chip) timed. Since the first race in 2014, the Give ‘N Gobble has raised over $534,000 in the spirit of Thanksgiving for the Dickson County Help Center. Get Ready to Wobble Before You Gobble! 🦃 Join us for the annual Thanksgiving Gobble Trot! Before you dive into the turkey and stuffing, enjoy the holiday with your family, friends, and fellow runners. 🏃‍♂️💨 It’s the perfect way to burn calories and make lasting memories to balance out the big feast, before and after! Don’t wait—spots fill up faster than the Thanksgiving table! 🍽️✨ Forget the massive, impersonal race-day crowds. We keep things small, personal, and local, so every run feels less like a number and more like a memory. Whether it's a 5K, 10K, half-marathon, or virtual run, you'll get the warmth of a hometown event. Overview: Spots sell out FAST! We close each wave the moment it fills. Once a wave sells out, you can grab the virtual run option or join the waitlist. This is a smaller, private group run with a capped field per wave - so it never feels crowded, and you're never just a bib number. All paces and ages welcome (under 18 with a guardian) - run it, walk it, however you like! There's no gear, no setup, no fuss - just you, the course, and our coordinators cheering you on in a relaxed, stress-free setting. When you sign up, you're not just registering for a race - you're getting real support toward your fitness goals, plus an invite to join one of our local run clubs to keep the momentum going. Timing: Optional! Track your own time via Strava, RunKeeper, Nike Run, or similar, then submit it through our easy online form to get posted. Or just ask a coordinator to help time you. No timing chips - this is about progress, not pressure. We know this is a busy time of year with the holidays. The goal of this challenge is to help motivate you to still find the time to prioritize you ad your health! This challenge will go from December 1 to 31, 2026 This Challenge is FREE for due-paying members (you will be emailed a code to use at checkout and your membership must be active on 12/31/2026). If you are not a due-paying member, there will be a $15 fee to join. If you are interested in learning more about becoming a due-paying member (how the fees help us along with perks you get with our Community Partners), please visit our website at www.clarksvillerunningclub.com. This event is designed for participation from all types of people, from walkers to runners, adults to kids. You are able to record miles by walking, running, indoors or outdoors, or on an elliptical. It is all on the honor system if say you did it, we will believe you! That is why there are tiers, so the walkers that may earn only 1 or 2 chances will not feel like the higher mileage people who have 3 or 4 or even more chances in the basket will win all the prizes. This is to motivate you during what would be a busy time of the year. So, you can get your miles in the outdoors or indoors on a track or even treadmill, and even elliptical. About the only way we are NOT counting miles is by bike. We will use a shared spreadsheet on "Google Sheets". (There is an app for your phone). Once we get closer, we will email everyone a link to the sheet. If you are not able to figure out how to use it, please reach out to crccontactus@gmail.com and we will work with you. The Process: Input miles completed on your named tab in the google spreadsheet (preferably daily or at least every few days) ALL MILES MUST BE INPUT BY MONDAY JAN 4, 2027 For every 15miles, your name will be put in for a raffle prize We will do the raffles during the first monthly meeting of 2027 Tiers Tier One - Under 30miles Tier Two - 30.01miles-124miles Tier Three - Above 124miles *Top earner from each Tier will automatically win a prize **You can only win once** Bonus Days and Points! Bonus days will either double or triple your mileage for that day. Bonus Days: 12/6/2026 - 2x 12/24/2026 - 2x 12/25/2026 - 3x *Random Day* - 2x *We will randomly select another day by drawing it out of a hat.
