FPS PTO Dolphin Dash 5K

The Farragut Primary School PTO is hosting its first 5K Dolphin Dash Fundraiser. The event will take place on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at the Primary School. We will have kids dashes (ages 3-8 years old) and the 5K run/walk with prizes for place finishers. The Dolphin Dash is planned around family, fun, fitness and community! Finley’s Fun Run is a separate but related event to the Dolphin Dash 5K and will take place on Thursday, April 23, during your student’s Encore time. Because this event is held during the school day, every FPS student will have the opportunity to participate. Children will run laps outdoors in the grassy area on campus, or inside the gym if weather does not cooperate. 8th Annual Veterans Heritage Ridge Run Event - 5K Trail Run, 10K Ruck Race & Family Fun Walk @ Sharps Ridge

This annual event is a fundraiser with proceeds supporting the construction and upkeep of Sharps Ridge Veterans Memorial Park. The event start point is at the Lincoln Park Technology Trade School, 535 Chickamauga Ave. The courses proceed in a loop on the well marked hiking trails of Sharps Ridge that meander through largely wooded and hilly terrain. Participants can choose from three options for this event; a 5K timed trail run, a 1 mile family fun walk and supporting, but sleeping. All events take place on the Sharps Ridge trails. Blazin' for Bleeders 5k / Fun Walk is Tennessee Hemophilia & Bleeding Disorders Foundation's (THBDF) seventh annual race.  This race helps provide support, education, and advocacy for the bleeding disorder community in Tennessee and surrounding areas that go to a Tennessee Hemophilia Treatment Center (HTC).  People with bleeding disorders are confronted with many physical, medical, emotional, and psychological challenges.  How well they meet these challenges depends on a number of things, including the severity of the illness, the quality of medical care, and the ability to pay for treatment.  The funds will help support the efforts of THBDF to continue bringing support to this often-overlooked community.

You can run, walk, skip, you can do it in sneakers or in sandals or in no shoes at all. This is a completely judgment free zone, and we're in it to have a good time! Delta Sigma Pi is hosting a cancer awareness 5k on May 2nd. This event is especially meaningful to us as one of our brothers recently fought and beat stage 4 testicular germ cell cancer. Seeing someone so close to us go through this has inspired us to take action to support young adults in similar situations. All proceeds from this event will be donated to the Dear Jack Foundation.
